It was warm, sunn falling on a young boys back. He sat on a rooftop in Haven city, with someone next to him. A young girl smiled, long red black hair trialing in the slight breeze. She turned her head, green grey eyes twinkling with mischievious plans. She turned her head back into the sun, the red circle tattoos under her left eye bright. The boys sandy brown hair was ruffled by the wind, and he called someones name...
Shinrah......
There was a crash and Jaythens dream ended, It was the same dream, every night for the past six years. Ever since he had come to the prison. The whole day he had been with Shinrah played in his mind, up until the KG came for them.
Jaythen let out a breath, the cold sweat on his body making him uncomfortable. His eyes were open wide, a small golden ring out side a black whole, trying to suck in light so that he could see. He was breathing a bit heavier than normal, the remnants of his nightmare.
His cell was small and cold, and impossible to escape from. It was everything proof, and the eco supressors they pumped into him when they weren't expieramenting on kept him feeling numb inside. He lay on his bed, thoughts running throught his head. Thoughts of long ago, thoughts of not so long ago. He ran a hand through his blue green hair, trying to keep it from sticking to his face. It was stuffy in the room, the vents not yet open. He wondered what time it was, and a moment later wished he hadn't.
There was a sound of protesting metal and his door opened. KG came in, pulling him out. They were rough, uncaring if he was hurt. They always were uncaring, everytime. He had heard the whispers that circulated about him, the guards talking in loud voices so that he heard. " I heard if this expierament don't work they're gonna kill 'im." One said in a deep voice. Jaythen was being strapped onto a gurney, just the same as always, the same thing for six years. The doctors wheeled the gurney with the guards walking on the outside. " I don't see why there need to be so many guards for this guy. He's nothin' but skin and bones. Why could he do?" The guard made a noise of dismissal.
They werehere to take him to the place where they were going to expirament on him. He knew this, always knew this somewhere in the back of his mind. It was dark in the hallways, small redlight placed at every interval. He struggled, but there was a needle pinch and he was unable to move. The eco suuppresor wormed through his veins, making him able to do nothing. There was another pinch, and the world grew fuzzy. Sounds were blurred, only half heard.
There was more movement as the doctors transferred him from the gurney to a chair. The straps were tight as he lay on the chair, faces around him. He wished he could be dreaimng, because anything was better than this.

Her eyes closed, Kelinna tried to ignore everything around her. Laying atop a stainless steal examination table, her dull green hair draped over the sides. Kelinna let out a shaky breath, scared at what they where going to do to her now. So many tests so many experiments...A single tear rolled down her cheek as she thought those things.
She had lost count to be honest, it seemed her life so long ago that is was mearly a dream to her...A fantasy, not a memory slowly opening her eyes the odd mixture of brown and green swirled together around her irises. She winced at the brightness of the room, her eyes not yet adjusted to the lighting here.
Turning her head to the side she saw another prisoner being strapped down, slowly looking away from him Kelinna bit back a cry of pain as they dripped some strange liquid on her hand. Trying to pull it away she felt as if her flesh was being burned off, whatever they had poured on her hand caused her to wither against the bindings in pain.
"Look here, even though the acid ate away at her top layer of skin the eco inside her is already healing her..." A few men took down notes as Kelinna's hand already began to heal, the skin slowly knitting back together and scabbing over. Then turned a slight shade of pink till finally nothing, no mark, no scar, no nothing...

Jaythen could hear the sounds of another person near him, but it was a green haired girl, not red. The person he remembered would never make those sounds anyway. He closed hs gold eyes, locks of unevenly cut hair falling over his face. He felt lifeless, as if he could never be happy. It was a terrible life to live in the prison. Having stayed alive as long as he had was a miracle.
" Shhh, don't cry, you'll be alright someday." He told the green haired girl softly. Jaythen turned his head to her and opened his eyes. They were bright with the knowledge of the pain she was going through, pain so similar, but so different. He hoped that she could hear him. It would be a blessing for her, that there was at least someone in this filthy place with an ounce of sympathy left.
He winced as a needle entered his arm. There was somethig in it that made his whole body go limp. His head was stuck to the side, eyes unmoving. He could think yes, but that was about it.
" We made it stronger this time. The last amount seemed not to have the desired effect." It was one scientist talking to one of the others. He could feel something like molten electricity pouring into his veins. It made his body shuddere involuntarily. His hair sttod on end in an unnatural fashion, showing what was happening inside of him.
There was a terrible pain in his mind, and he screamed. It wasn't high, and it wasn't low. It was a scream of human pain, of the breaking mind. But it had always seemed as if he was broken already in most ways. He had tried to escape in the beginning, but after the first few times of haing to wear a shock collar he had stopped. His body arched upward as small blue lightning zig zagged across his skin. H is eyes glowed an unnatural blue, and his skin seemed to lose color.
" Thats enough. We must write a conclusion for this. He can stay here for a while." The head scientist working on his stated.
The flow of blue eco was cut off, and his body flattened onto the table. The blue eco had burned away all the drugs in him, every single one. Even with that, he was too weak. His hair hung limp after the strange display, his face flushed. His eyes seemed duller than before, as if a pice of life had dissappeared. His body was soaked in sweat, showing how hard it had worked to channel the level of raw energy. His breathing was shallow, as if his mind had forgotten all its normal responses. He tried to breath in deeply, only to find it caused pain in his sull, like hundreds of needles being driven in. His chest heaved, trying to compensate for the enormous amount of pain he was expected to cope with. His eyes dialted in something akin to shock, and chills swept over him. Though he was sweating his body shivered and shook. At times it spasmed, the whole of him struggling against his bindings. Then, he was still.

Mick's eyes slowly fluttered open as the tugging on hi sarm became harder and more urgent. he could slightly make out the face of a man and then through the haze of sleep realized it was one of his roommates. Jerking his arm out of the young mans grip he grunted as his joints cracked from the quick movement.
"Hey it's your shift, and you might want to hurry up they were pumping up one of the blue eco junkys when I left. " The boy said a small smile curling on his face as he moved away from the ragged bunks and sat down at a table. Grabbing at the worn stack of cards he began to play solitaire.
Mick got up his legs aching from his last shift. I don't know how long I can keep this up. He began thinking as he hopped down to the floor and began assembling his armor. " So you think I still have time to make it to the experiment?" Mick asked trying to make small talk as he drowsily applied his armor.
"If you worked faster then a snail." The young man said in a joking tone as he shuffled through his deck of cards.
"Ah well when they do when there is usually another." Mick said as he ran his fingers through his red hair and then put on his helmet, his blue eyes being covered up by red goggles. Grabbing his gun he gave a salute to his roommate and when out into the hall immediately straightening his back and marching to his post by the cell of the notorious 'bloody knuckles'.

Kelinna opened her eyes as she heard the strangers words, looking over at him once again she slowly nodded her head agreeing with his words. Tilting her head back toward the ceiling she frowned as she saw them approach with some kind of knife out of the corner of her eye, she shook with fear as the metal caught the light sending a glare causing her to close her eyes from the shine. "Pleas...Please don't...I..." Her words died out as the man next to her screamed, she recognized the yell. It was one of pain and torment, one she had cried out several times since she was five. Her hands clenched tightly her eco flared around her causing a green glow around her as the man continued to scream.
Squirming atop the table she silent pleaded for them to let her go, feeling the knife dig into her skin she tried to bite back the cry of pain. Kelinna could feel it slide easily through her tender flesh, the scientist made sure to cut at deeply as they could. Kelinna's blood pooled around her as they finished fresh tears rolled down her face, her mouth hung open in a silent cry already though her eco worked to repair the wound.
The bright green eco tried to sooth its holder as it stitched together her damaged skin, already it was scabbing over. "Amazing...It seems she doesn't even need to concintrait...." The took several notes as they watched the gash heal, "catch a falling star and put in your pocket...Save it for a rainy day..." She sang softly and lifeless to herself, the only thing she could remember from her childhood now.

Mick rounded the corner the screams already reaching his ears as well as. . . gunshots? Shaking his head he tried to make sure it wasn't his mind, trying to make sure it wasn't the beginning of one of those flashbacks of his brother. But the sounds echoed down the hallways covering up the distance screams of the experiments.
Mick picked up his pace, his boots pounding to the raped pumping of his heart. Grasping his gun tightly in his hands he found himself glancing down to the barrel. The red lights gleamed across the metallic surface outlining the engravement of 'Point towards enemy'. Ah her humor would be great right now.
Suddenly Mick rounded another corner to find himself staring at his assigned post and the prisoner that he was supposed to be guarding. Mick held up his gun and pointed it at her, his lips a fragile line across his face. He had watched this girl felt sympathy for her, and now he was forced to look at her down the barrel of his blaster. " I'm authorized to shoot to kill." Mick's voice was unnaturally loud and wavered at the word kill. By the precursors let her go peacefully.

Jaythen managed to open his eyes, sweat drencheed body shiveing once more. A few minutes passed in this state, and another group of scientists came near.
" It seems that the afeter affects make his body go into some kind of withdrawl. We need to up the dose. Maybe this time it will kill him." The scientist said in a cool voice, as if he were not deciding someones fate.
A few people swirled around him, adding tubes and wires here and there. They stung his flesh as they were just haplessly thrust into his veins. He gave a slight twitch, a few bits of blue eco in his sytem swirling around. His eyes jittered, and he closed them to try to get them to stop. It was a terrible thing, and one reason he hated having his eco.
Someone nodded, the movement disturbing the air. Jaythen looked over to a doctor smiling at him. He didn't recofnize the doctor, but he coun't recognize anyone at the moment. There was a tingle as the multiple drips were openned, and the energy flooded into him.
His back arched once more, fire roaring through his mind. He could see/ hear/ taste/ smell/ touch the energy as it seared through his mind. He tried to cry out, a normal reaction, but it was as if his body were frozen. He was burning in fire so hot it felt like he were bathing in ice. He tried to move, to break away, but there wan't anyway to even move for all the energy moving through him. It made him fell as if her were the living dead, seeing but not seeing.
" Hmm. Too much eco overleods the senses. He didn't even twitch when we ran the knife down his arm. The gash may heal before he bleeds to death. The blue eco is supposed to speed up his healing to the max that his body can take. " The man smiled, a dark evil smile that showed how he enjoyed the twisted expieraments.
As he spoke Jaythens arm was covered in blue sparks. The gash healed, leaving behind a jagged mark of puckered flesh.
" As I thought." The scientist said. " Now then, will it be the withdrawl that kills him then. Lat time it put him in shock. I wonder what will happen now." Another scientist came over to him with a clip board.
" Sir, we have calculated that slowly easing him oout of the eco might let him live." The other man said. The scientist waved him away.
" Kill all the feeders now." He ordered. The others shrugged, and did so.
Jaythens body had a ceisure. It pressed against the bons to the point of where it made him bleed. His twisted and curved in ways that men were never supposed to move. His vocal chords found themselves, and a torturous scream escaped him. It continued until his voice left him, and then it was just the mouthing of cries of pain, small bits of sound escaping. His heart gave a beat, and was silent. It seemed as if he were dead.
" That's just too bad." The scientist said with a smile painting his face. " He had always seemed so .. resilient."

The somber song continued as Kelinna faded in a out of conscious. The large amount of blood she had lost pool on the floor, a few scientist grumbled and tried to avoid the red liquid "can't someone get in here to clean this up!" A young apprentice rushed over, though he carelessly dropped a container of black eco. The dark substance instantly meet Kelinna's blood a odd reaction happened, the eco seemed to have vanished...
Slowly opening her eyes, she looked over at the table next to her curious about the others state. She opened her mouth to call out for him as she saw his status, he looked dead. Crying for the stranger Kelinna's green eco tried to reach out and heal him, glowing strands of her power headed for fellow inmate. Screaming out as she was tasered, Kelinna lost her focus the healing energies only making it half way.
Crying helplessly the scientist tasered her again, no longer able to contain her eco a large shield surrounded Kelinna. A few of the scientist where knocked over as she laid their panting in pain and fear. The green bubble resilient to the scientist banging, a few smiled and wrote down notes "it seems it took longer than last for the shield to appear." "Yes I wonder if she is gaining control of the eco...Or if it is just simply reacting to her feelings..."
Nodding his head the scientists around Kelinna backed away as a KG approached the shield, taking out his gun he fired several rounds into the surface each on falling to the ground not passing through to the patient.

There was a breath in, and then out, in , then out. It was shaky, making his whole body shudder. He felt as if someone had stabbed him, and then he was back among the living. It was the strangest feeling, of being alive again.
" It seemes her eco reached him after all. He is showing a reaction. " The cold voice entered his senses, and he wished it would just go away. He hated that, the fact that he was always here. Always so close to death, so far from life.

Kait could hear voices speaking to her, though she couldn't understand what they were saying. She felt like she was swimming up from the bottom of the ocean, becoming lighter and lighter as she went. Before any of her other senses engaged, she began to hear what the people standing over her were saying.
Look! She's waking up! I never expected her to come out of her coma, but here she is, coming to! Come here, come here!
Kait's vision finally began to show up, and she could see the very blurry forms of two women standing over her. They were dressed in starched white nurses uniforms, and looked to be nearly identical in appearance. Brown hair tied up in a bun, covered in a steepled nurses cap, pale skin, and blue eyes looking at her quizzically and hopefully. The room around them was blinding white as well, so white that the only things that stood out in Kait's vision were the faces of the nurses.
Once Kait could see, she began to test her limbs to get them working again, flexing her fingers and toes, and repeatedly blinking her eyes to make her muscles work. She finally came to after more than ten minutes, the nurses fussing about her all the while.
She was lying on a hard metal table wearing one of those hideous gowns they gave you when you went in for surgery, and all four of her limbs were strapped to the table with leather straps, completed by a metal collar stretched around her neck to hold her to the table. She coughed many times, bringing foul liquid to her mouth, and managed to speak a few words to the nurses.
Where am I? Why am I strapped down?
Both nurses bumbled over to her, and proved that they had identical voices as well.
Oh, dear, you are in the Baron's medical facility. You are being very well taken care of, though we had to strap you down so you did not hurt yourself when we were treating you. You were at the bottom of that eco filtrator for quite a while, you know, we didn't expect that you would survive.
The second nurse took over where the first one left off.
Now that you've come to, we can take the straps off of you, though you have to promise us you'll be good.
The second nurse gave a satanical giggle, and began unbuckling the straps that held Kait down. Once Kait was free, she let the rage that had been building up in her erupt. The memory of being in the bottom of the filtrator was horrific, and the pain of it still filled her. She had no idea why she was still alive, or what the nurses had done to her, but she illogically knew that this was somehow the fault of the Baron.
Moving with unnatural swiftness, she picked up a large scalpel lying on a surgical tray next to the table she was on, and struck down the two maids faster than they could react to her being off of the table. Their throats slit, she was covered in blood, and collapsed to the floor, her legs unable to hold her much longer.
After many minutes, the blood in her eyes clouding her vision, she staggered to her feet and pried open the door, her bloody hands slipping on the door handle. She didn't let go of the scalpel with her right hand, and she staggered throughout the staunch white halls, meeting no one else.
She finally came to the end of the hall, and was met with a closed door. Faced with no other choices, Kait went through the door, and tripped down the stairs behind the door, landing on the bottom step with a dull thud. Coughing up blood this time, she gathered herself up as she began to hear shouts being her, something about a missing patient.
Filled with the recurring rage and the adrenaline of escape, she hobbled down the hallway, now covered in her own blood as well as that of the nurses. She clutched at her ribs with her left hand, sure that several of them were broken from the fall down the stairs.
After a while, she could no longer hear her pursuers from the above floors and she could hear screams and gunshots from just ahead. The walls were no longer white, but stained a sick ugly black-brown, and the floor was covered in a bare dirt cobbled material that cut her feet as she dragged herself across them.
The screams came closer, and she came to an open doorway, and peered in, holding the scalpel in front of her. There were two people strapped to metal tables similar to her own, a man and a woman, both unconscious. Scientists were scattered about the room, all wearing white lab coats, some covered in blood.
Surprisingly, none of the scientists heard her enter the room; they were so focused on what they were doing to the patients, they had neglected to watch the door. She grabbed one of the scientists from behind, wincing at the pain in her ribs, and held the scalpel to his throat. Suddenly, all eyes in the room were on Kait, excluding the two on the tables.
You all listen to me now. I want out of here. I don't know where the doors are to outside, but you are going to show me. I can kill all of you faster than you can even blink. One of you will show me where the doors are, and another will release these patients. Do it now, and no one dies.
[OOC: It would be really cool if one of you could take up where I left off with the scientists. I don't care what you make them do, I just don't want to have frozen things up. And I apologize for the massiveness of this post. ^^]
