Through the haze Jaythen could hear the shout of a woman. He opened his eyes, the bright gold gleaming. There was another eco source nearby, and he could feel it. It was blue, the color running rampant in his mind.
" Now dear, there is no need to kill anyone. Set down the scalpel and go back to your room. You are just feeling unwell." The scientits voice was smooth, maliciaous. He came over to where Jaythen was, unbuckling the man he thought to be dead.
" It is unfortunate that you did not survive my friend. With your broken will you could have made a great weapon." The scientist dumped his body off the table and slowly wheeled the cart towards Kait.
" Now young lady. Let the good man go. I think we can work out a compromise. I will show you where the door to the outside world you wish to see so much. You must first let the man go."
Jaythens mind grasped for the eco, finding it. It was in a syringe, the same thing they had been feeding him over and over. May as well give it a try if I can get a few of us out. He thought. He moved slowly towards Kelinna, her form limp. The scientists attentions were on Kait, and he slowl and carefully undid the buckes. The rasped slightly, and he tried to hurry. Once they were undone her grabbed the syringe, praying to anyone wo wold listen not to kill him.
The prick of the needle seemed worse that ever, and the eco drained in. He shuddered, his whole body coming alive with movement.
He went towards Kelinna, aiming to pick her up and run, run as he had never done before.

Kait bared her teeth at the scientist, who was trying to placate her with soft words. She was not fooled. She knew what they had been doing to these patients. The body of the man that had been dumped onto the wheelchair, she could see was still alive. She kept her eyes off of him so that the scientists would not be alerted to the fact that he was still alive and moving, and pressed the scalpel harder into the neck of the scientist she was holding.
Then, fast as he could, the man that had been dumped from the table snatched the syringe he had been injected previously, and injected himself with it. Kait cringed when she saw him do this, but could see the immediate effect it had on him, making him able to move from the chair and go to gather the other patient from the opposite table, who Kait hoped was still alive.
Now that Kait could see his plan outlined, to rescue this patient and escape, she could see no other choice than to kill these scientists. They didn't deserve to live anyway, with what they had done. It was a wonder that they could sleep at night.
So, steeling herself, she plunged the scalpel into the neck of the scientist she was holding, who had not moved since she grabbed him, and was drenched immediately in his warm blood. The feeling of it sickened her, but she knew it had to be done if they were going to escape. He slumped heavily to the floor, and she turned to the other scientists, who were scrambling for anything they could use for weapons.
Don't even think about it. You don't even have a chance.
With those final words of warning, Kait killed every scientist in the room, in varied, horrible ways, soaking her once white robe with blood, and spraying the walls with red streaks. Finally, only one scientist remained, the one that had tried to calm her with the words of condolence about getting out of this place. Kait could see her eying a panel in the wall that she assumed was used to alert the rest of this place that there was a problem. The doctor had no chance of ever reaching it. Kait approached her, and was gratified that she cringed away, and tried to huddle in the corner. Grabbing the doctor by the arm, marring her perfect white ensemble, Kait pulled her to her feet, and again pressed the scalpel to her throat.
You struggle, you die. You scream, you die. You even flinch more than I think is enough, you die. You will show us the way out of here, then you will go tell the baron that there has been an escape like a good little girl. You'll tell him we've gone to the south side of the city, and if you don't, and I'll know, I'll hunt you down and find something creative to do with you. Then you can join your friends here. We're getting away from this, and if I have to kill every single one of you, I will.
She motioned with the scalpel for the doctor to move towards the door, all the while holding her arms behind her back. She turned back around towards the man who was freeing the other experiment from her table, her feet losing their place on the blood on the floor. Kait felt utterly sick, and didn't know how long she could do this, how many more people she could kill before she imploded. Not many she guessed.
If you've got her, we can leave now.

Hearing a woman scream, Kelinna tried to block it from her mind, her body shaking in fear as the shield protected her still. Keeping her eyes closed she clenched her hands together in pain, for the straps where now starting to cut off circulation to her legs and arms. Hearing everyone rush toward the mad woman, Kelinna frightfully opened her eyes as she did the eco shield dropped with her concentration lost the power went back into her body building up till it was needed next time.
Wishing she could cover her ears Kelinna closed her eyes once again, not seeing that the person that was next to her was heading toward her or what the woman was doing to the doctor and nurses. No Kelinna could only think the worse, many a prisoners or patients had tried to escape and the outcome was gruesome.
Not wanting to see the bloodshed she kept her eyes closed and her body limp, bitting down on her bottom lip as someone began to undo her bindings Kelinna kept her eyes closed even as a a small trail of blood started to run down her chin as she bit down harder on her lip to try and keep from lashing out with eco.
Kelinna's small frame was limp in Jaythens' arms, a small swirl of green eco covered her form, slowly opening her two toned eyes she looked up wearily at the guy carrying her. Whimpering in pain and confusion Kelinna tried to open her mouth to say something, anything at all but nothing came out grasping at the shirt Jaythens wore Keelina gave a small tug to get his attention, "th..The door to the right, we..We need to go through that...Through that one." Her voice was shaky and soft, as if she had almost forgotten how to talk to people Kelinna could taste the bitter cooper of her blood as she talked the color staining her pale lips. Holding up a shaky hand she pointed in the direction, even the outfit she wore was soaked in blood from earlier.

Jaythen loked down, the womans green eyes puling him in. He nodded, loking toward the way Kelinna spoke of. He could see the door there, a way out. He needed out. The eco burned in his veins, urging him into movement. It was something that was killing him inside, slowly as the eco wore away. He carefully grabbed another syringe, making sure as not to poke Kelinna. He didn't know what her reaction would be, but he doubted it would be good.
" Hey, Miss." He called to Kait softly. " We're going this way. And be careful with that one. She is one of the comitte members. She helps organize all of this. We may need her later, unharmed." He nodded his head toward the door and started walking.
Either it was the eco in his veins, or that Kelinna was very light. It might have been the lack of proper food that people here recived. He had no trouble carrying her. Blueish sparks ran along his skin, urging him to move faster. It was a battle to contain the condensed eco, burning inside of him like a raging wildfire of electricity. He clenched his jaw in the effort. He had never maintained so much control before, and didn't even know he had it.
The door was slightly ajar from where others had come in. He shoved his toe in, forcing the door open. It creaked a little, but the place was wide enough for him to get through.
They were in the hall, and there were people there. A woman, and multiple dead guards. His gold eyes widened. He didn't want her to turn around, to think they were coming for her. He doubted he could do anything to stop that. Maybe form a shield as the woman in his arms had, maybe not. He doubted it strongly. The eco didn't want to shield. It wanted to attack, to reach out with its own power and destroy those around. An ache formed behind his eyes showing the strain. The needed to get out fast, or he would explode, literally.
" I think we need to go this way. The other direction is where the cell I was kept in is. Thats farther on the inside of the compund." He loked down the hall, whispered voice echoing slightly.
" What do you think Miss?" He asked the green haired girl.

Kelinna let out a panicked whimper at the sight of the syringe, her chest rising rapidly as Jaythen held the vial. Hiding her face against the man's chest she couldn't see which way they where going only that there could be a chance of them escaping.
Kelinna's thoughts went frantic at that information, to be free after so long, to be able to feel grass and sunshine...
Clinging tightly to the person carry her, Kelinna couldn't focus on much having lost so much blood earlier while they tested on her. Her vision faded in and out, barely able to lift her head she tried to stay awake through everything. Looking up sadly at Jaythen she could sense the turmoil of the eco inside him the substance aching to be used and find release, whither it be good or bad. Kelinna could faintly make out his words, concentrating she didn't notice the woman before them the cause of the bloodbath in the hallway
"I..I don't know...Ju...Just, just be careful..He is always watching..."
She shook in fear as she spoke finally noticing all the death in the hallway, panicking her eco flared around her forming a green shield around the two Kelinna's eyes wide in fear as she saw all the dead bodies "w..Why..." She whispered softly to herself, even though she was a prisoner and beaten by the very people laying in their own blood Kelinna hated seeing death.

Mick ran after her, his hand on his radio, unlatching it from his belt. Ahead of him he could see 'Bloody Knuckles' as well as two other figures standing alone in a bloodied hallway. Guards laid on the floor bullets through their sculls, and silent screams still painted on their faces."We have multiple prisoners attempting escape!" Mick reported into the radio, and almost immediately the alarms began echoing. " They are in the East wing near the Experimental chambers, requesting backup immediately."
Mick put his radio back onto his belt and gripped his gun, staring down the sights he found the male prisoner grasping a small girl. His blue eyes focused, and he bit his lip, he could see the fear in their faces. He fired, his finger pumping the trigger of his blaster. In the distance he could hear the echoing of orders, footsteps and armor.

There was the sound of shots, and Jaythen stumpbled backward. He could feel the pain somewhere under the nebulous of his eco, pain that grinded at his bones. Another shot, and another. They were landing all over. Two in his shoulder, weakening his ability to hold onto Kelinna. I will not drop her.... He thought to himself. He gritted his teeth, pushing the pain from his mind. There was another wound, not in his upper leg. It bled, staining the floor crimson, drakening as the oxygen escaped.
He moved slowly, hearing foorsteps. They were going to get out, somehow. Somehow. He wouldn't stay here a moment longer. Jaythen moved the other direction, looking for any door, any wau to get out. He wasn't going to make it far, and though the gurads wore heavy armor he was wounded. His shirt was turning a strange color, the mix of red blood and the blue dye of the shirt. He wasn't sure if it was dripping onto the woman, but he hoped not.
The syringe he had been holding fell from his grip, shattering on the floor. He wailed inside. Even if it killed him that small bit of eco could have brought freedom. He stepped forward quicker, moving as fast as possible while wounded. There was a door ajar, and he could smell fresh, clean air. Something he hadn't smelled in a long time.
" Miss, I am going to set you down. Go through that door. There should be anotherone. Go through that and turn right, and the door at the end of the hall should be your way out." He gently set her down, trying to lean her against the wall so that she could at least stand.
He collapsed, no strength left, blood leaving him rapidly. Darkness ate away at the corners of his visoin as bloodloss overcame him. His shoulder was soaked, his leg aching. He tried to keep moving forward, but no motion came. The blue eco swirled around his useless body, making the whole of him twitch.
" Please go!" He yelled towards her. At least maybe she would get away. She had to.

Looking up at the man as she was covered in his blood, Kelinna's eyes where filled with fear and panic. The sounds of gun fire filling her senses, breathing franticly the green haired girl tried to calm herself down. Crystal like tears rolling down her face as Jaythen lowered to the floor, pale as a ghost she tried to make out his words shivering as if she was a frighten rabit Kelinna shook her head at his words.
Ready to attemp to heal his bloody body the small girl flinched at his yell, slipping in a puddle of something she didn't want to look down at. She tried to scramble to her feet, her hands and backside covered in bright red blood rising from the floor, Kelinna scooted along the wall terrified of everything going on around her. Long strands of green hair covered her face as she cried, wobbling as she moved the frightened girl triped several times before making it to the door.
Slowly opening it all the way she was breathing heavily a trail of blood footsteps marked where she walked. Making her way down the hallway, she let out a scream as she was suddenly pulled down by her hair a tall KG had sneaked up behind her, pulling Kelinna back into the hallway she had just come from the woman threw the girl down to the floor next to Jaythen's bleeding form.
"I can't believe they made it this far..." The woman attempted to wipe her hands clean as if Kelinna had some disease, huddling close to the man's broken body she tried to stop the tears, the eco inside her sensing its holders fear quickly surrounded them in a shield of green eco the KG punched the glowing wall "damn brat! Why in the world do they inject them with that stuff confuses me all the time!"
Punching at the shield the woman KG laughed as Kelinna flinched as each blow landed on the surface of the shield. Whispering sorry over and over again to the man she rested her head on her knees, rocking back and forth Kelinna tried to keep the shield up waiting for when the KG would give up and leave...

She was gone, butsomeone came up by him. He didn't bother to look. Then he heard her, Kelinna. She had gone, but the KG had pulled her back. They mumbled something, and someone was laughing. A head rested on his knees, and he could feel her flinching at every blow to the eco shield. But nearby was the broken vial of blue eco, puddled together. It slowly rolled towards him, and hisbody absorbed it. For the firs time in a long time, his eyes turned blue. It almost never happened, but was now.
A bolt of bright blue lighting shot out from his upturned hand, hitting a kg. Not the one that shot him, but one nearby. He could smell the burnt flesh, and it made his body want to convulse. He didn't, barely keeping a lid on the pain. The whole of him was on fire, and he was angry. Very angry.
" I see they brought you back miss." He whsipered to her politely. He tried to smile, but failed.
" I really hope that you enjoy fireworks miss, because there are going to be some great ones in a minute." He closed his glowing eyes, cutting off the eerie light. He had an idea, one that might work.
He concentrated the eco to form around the outside of her shield, blindinly bright. On the inside it glowed a dullcolor, so as not to blind the occupants. There were shouts on the outside as people went temporarily blind. That should hold for a few minutes, and they might evengo away. There was the chance they would leave the two of them alone. While Jaythen wasin no condition to move, Kelinna might have had a chance to get out.

Kelinna shook her head, keeping it down in fear as she heard the female KG scream in pain and fall down unconscious. As the woman fell she hit a small pager alerting more KG to their situation. The frightened girl curled up tighter into a ball, letting out a small scream at the sound of the blue eco going off the green shield dropped from around them.
She didn't understand what he meant by fireworks, many a times Kelinna had heard that word but she didn't know what they meant. "Wh..What are fireworks?" Nervously looking up her eyes where no longer the green mixed with brown, the green shined brightly from her eyes along with fear and loneliness.
