Leo's face lit up, glad that he could finally be more proactive with his research. "I would be absolutely delighted." He replied to her turning his head slightly to the sound of footsteps approaching. They were heavy and well spaced, very deliberate. He knew the sound well, it was someone who had trained and served in the Krimson Guard. It reminded Leo of his father, and the note that he kept away in his coat pocket. As his hand let out another involuntarily twitch, he could feel the smooth paper ageist his fingertips.

He mentally shook his head focusing on the librarian and the KG's conversation his gaze planted somewhere between the two of them.

Neko walked overto her brother,taking the book. The precursor was old yes, but she remembered reading something like this with her mother. It slowly came back to her through a haze of remembered pain.

" I think this might be a good book. There stuff about light and dark eco here. This should be good. " She nodded to him, and set the book in her pile of keeeps, piking up another book tolook at.

"Ok awesome," Rawling said giving a thumbs with enthusiasm. "I'll keep looking... over here." He pointed towards the back of the room and expelled a tad bit of dark eco on his hand.

He scanned through the books, once again, nothing was being found. After a few minutes he turned as he was scanning them ,"I think that might be our best bet right about n.." He was intreupted by an intense reaction to his eco.

In fact this particular book, covered in red leather and bound my laces of brown leather, started pulling his eco towards it. It even started pulling his light put of his body. The vials in his pocket were trying to escape and go towards the book as well.

"Uh.. Nek! I think we hit jackpot!" He back off from the book and the reaction ceased. "That one." He pointed to the red leather book."

Kelinna turned around her green hair whipping through the air as she moved. "Ah of course, I'll meet you at the front desk sir" pointing over to the main librarian desk where Indigo waved and blew a kiss to Starus and his son, Kelinna looked up at Starus politely though embarrassed at her friends behavior. "I just need to grab a few books for this gentleman and I will up there shortly to check out your books."

Moving around the library she quickly gathered the necessary audio books. Piling them in her arms she scurried passed Indigo, the tall woman giggling happily at watching the small green haired healer work in the library "aww...Kelinna dear you look so cute when your in your librarian mode!"

The girl blushed, placing the audio books in front of Leo "here...I hope these are useful sir." Sliding the stack of books closer to the man, she hoped they where close enough for him to grab. Turning back to the others she gave a small bow "ah now lets get those books checked out."

Indigo chuckled, walking closer to Starus "isn't she such a doll? Also she is single to boot, I bet your son would love to have a girlfriend like her if he is single." She smiled playing with curled blue strands of hair, the tall woman giggled as she saw Kelinna blush brightly at hearing her words "on now come come dear...You need a strapping young gentleman to protect you! I can't be there all the time..." Indigo's voice trailed off as she turned toward the main entrance, her tone darkening as if she was remembering something dark.

Starus elbowed Luther in the side, "Ah! You hear that my boy! Got yourself a lovely lady to try out your Grisom charm! Ha ha!" Starus cracked himself up.

Luther's face had never been so red. "Dad shut it!" He quickly and frantically. He glanced over at Kelinna but quickly looked away. "Books pops, books!" He said trying to change the subject.

"Alright son." Starus set the books on the front desk. "Too bad. She's about your age and she's pretty enough for ya."

Moving to behind the desk, Kelinna quickly checked out the books that Starus and his son chose. "I..I hope you found everything you where looking for" she kept her eyes lowered to the table top. Her cheeks flushed a bright red as she finished checking out the last book "they need to be returned four weeks from now..."

Shyly handing the men their books Kelinna then went to hide behind some shelfs only for Indigo to grab the shy green haired girl "now now dear, why don't introduce yourself properly to this gentlemen?" The tall woman smiled teasingly, a strong arm around Kelinna keeping her in place "Indigo..Please, you know I don't like Krimson Guards..."

A slight tone of fear could be heard in Kelinna's tone, the blue haired woman let the girl go "oh...I'm sorry dear I didn't know that um...Yes anyway she is too good for you young man so no dating for you!" She shook a finger at Luther, smirking a bit Indigo then looked at Starus "now me on the other hand, I'm all for KG men." Blowing the man a kiss then winking in his direction, she didn't notice Kelinna moving away from them and toward the back book shelves.

Starus mood changed very quickly. His face went from a smile, to a frustrated and disappointed frown. "So is that the reason behind her resistance? He's a gaurd? I'm a gaurd? Not because she's shy or don't know him?" His mood was VERY much expressed in his voice. "Come on Luther. Let's go home. We will return these book on time." He grabbed a couple of books. "Get that one and let's go... now..."

And Luther did and walked beside his father towards the front entrance. "Why are you acting like this?"

"Because I'm tired of the KG tarnishing our name and reputation Luther! Everyday people coward to me because I wear the uniform! Its sickening that I, a protector of these people, have to be feared by all! And you! I've raised you to honor this place, these people. just as I have and you will experience the same fu**ing thing!" Starus never ever cusses. This even shocked Luther. His rant echoed through out the entire library .

Leo reached over for the audio-books and felt the smooth plastic. His fingers came to the edges and he opened them feeling the CD encased inside. Smiling he withdrew his hand and reached around by his own books finding his small compact laptop that he had brought along just in case. Grabbing the laptop he felt over to where the audio book container was and popped out the CD. With his other hand he felt for a small button on the side and the CD drive popped out and Leo promptly set the CD into the driver.

Sifting around in his jacket pocket he found some ear-buds and placed them in his ear. As he did so he could hear the stranger ranting on and on about KGs " Not all the KG's tarnish their reputation." He mumbled half to himself and half to answer the furious KG. Reaching for his laptop he felt around for one of the small buttons, recognizing the play button he pressed in and began listing to 'The writing of the Ancients'. As he listened he wrote down notes in his notebook adding them to the collection.
