Rawling had his hand over one such book that didn't have any reaction at all. "I think I found a good one."

He took the book from the shelf and place it on the table. He blew dust of the cover and saw what looked like old precursor writing. "Ah hell. I can't read this." He opened it anyway. There were many foreign words and some illustrations. "Can you make this out? You're the smarter one." He said stepping aside and with a joking tone.

Leo’s staff tapped ageist the broken asphalt of Haven City. The acidic smell of smog and gas made him choke. He had just come back from a trip back to Spargus and it would take him a bit to get used to the air. Stopping suddenly he smiled; he could feel the cool breeze and the smell of books echoing from the entrance. The library. He thought tapping his staff and working his way into the library.

Taking a deep breath Leo made his way through the familiar rows of books and felt around. Finding the shape of a chair he sat down, leaning back and sighing. He placed a few books on ancient precursor on the table that he had brought from home along with his notes.

Home sweet home.

Carrying the shy librarian over to a table she set the girl down, Indigo smiled brightly as she looked over her appearance "oh Kelinna my dear how many times have I told you. You need to start dressing up more, I mean how else are you going to ever find a man?" Indigo tsk'd sadly, wiping a fake tear from her powdered cheek "um...Indigo I'm not really worried about finding a um...Man as you put it, I'm quiet content with my life as it is." Kelinna hopped down from the table her face a bright red as she saw that they had interrupted a man.

Scooting away as slowly as she could she smoothed out her brown skirt "is there anything book related I can help you with Indigo?" The tall woman shook her head "no no I'll just wait till your shift is over dear." Kelinna nodded her head and excused herself, needing to stack a few books and check in some returns.

Leo smiled as the women gossiped along by him. It was strange listening to their voices and trying to imagine faces to go with them. With that thought the smile vanished from his lips and he traced his hands over the page knowing that he would not know the way that the world looked again.

The damper in his mood affected his eco and a bright spark of eco flickered down his arm and connected with the book making a slight singed smell reach Leo’s nose. He closed the book and laid it on the table and crossed his arms. Closing his eyes he craned his neck and tried to enjoy the smells and sounds of the library.

Finally finishing the small stack in her hands she jumps at sensing the small fluctuation of eco. Looking over at the table where the man sat she made her way over to him smiling politely "excuse me sir? I'm sorry and don't mean to bother you...But if you would pleas if you can not use eco inside the library..."

Shifting back and forth on her heels Kelinna stared at the stranger curiously, catching the faint smell of something burning not noticing the way Indigo was behind her pretending to swoon and make cute noises. "Aww....Look my little baby is growing up and talking to guys."

Leo didn't bother opening his eyes or moving his head to look at the woman. Obediently he uncrossed his arms and shoved his hand into his pocket and let it silently twitch. "I. . . I'm sorry ma'am, it won't happen again." He gave her a little smile as he lifted his hand and moved his blue hair out of his face. He could hear a woman swooning in the background and make a comment about her talking to guys.

He didn't have the urge to reopen the his smoldering book, and he let out a small sigh. Letting his curiosity it the best of him he began to speak. " You guys best friends I guess?" He tried to ask as polity as he could, hoping he wasn't intruding to much.

She tilted her head to the side in confusion "who?" Kelinna then turned to look at Indigo catching her making odd faces. Blushing she then turned back to the man "ah yes, though Indigo can be a bit..Odd I guess."

She giggled softly and placed the stack of books on the table, "sir if there is anything you need help with please don't hesitate to ask." Kelinna peeked at the books he had, noticing a few on acient percursers, "we have a couple of books on the subject you are studing..."

Leo didn't have the heart to tell the girl that he really couldn't even read the books he brought, but his urge for knowledge hindered him. Lifting his head up and opening his eyes he looked to where he knew the girls voice was coming from. His glazed blue eyes blinked as he spoke. " Sure I would love to see your collection." He gave a small smile and continued. "It would be much appreciated if it was an audio-book. "

Kelinna recognized the condition of his eyes, the familiar glazed look of a blind person. She had seen it many times in the prison, 'prisoners' given strange injections to enhance their eye sight but only taking it away.

"Of course sir, we have a few in audio...The librarian before me made sure we get at least one copy of each book in audio format, if you wait here I can bring them to you."

Starus and Luther were done here. They found the perfect material for Luther's studies. "Well, my boy, looks like you've got some good study material. Aren't you excited?" Starus said patting him firmly on the back.
"Yeah... totally..." Luther said with the least amount of enthusiasm.

They approached the young librarian from earlier. "Excuse me miss but is there anyway to check these out?"
