Darkness at the Ruins

Rawling snapped his hand up into Pyro's face. "Sh," he said quickly, "Don't make a sound. I want to see who this person is,"He Whispered his his head turned towards Pyro.

Rawling was very jumpy right nat this point. This moment was more intense than he could have every imagined.

[Neki]

Neko smiled at the woman.
" I know who you are now." She said. Her voice was happy and sad at the same time. The spirit became easier for her to see now that she recognized it. The long flowing hair was darker than the rest, betraying its inky color in real life. The woman was tall, with a sparkle in her once blue eyes. She was wearing a long dress, flowing in blues and purples. Her hands were long and gentle, well mainucured. Neko could now detect the simple earthy herb like smell.
" I've missed you mother." Neko cried, running up to the spirit and embracing her in a much needed hug.
" I'm so sorry, so so so sorry. I didn't mean to get you killed." Neko sobbed, holding onto the spirit of her lost mother. She cired and cried, as she had not done since her mother died. She sat there, and all the sudden, didn't look her age. She looked as she had many years ago, when she was young. Her black hair was a bit shorter, and her whole body was smaller. She looked like a perfect seven year old Neko. She sat there, tears streaming down her face.
Somewhere in the distance of her mind, she could feel Evey nearby.

Rawling loked at the spirit with an attitude, "Excuse me? Mother? As in her mother? As in mine?" He shook his head in denial.

He noticed his mother bring her hands down and place her ghosty hand on Neko's head. "I know Neko. don't blaim yourself. It was our fault for exposing you to eco in the first place. I never blaimed you baby. And neither does your father." Her voice wasn't spooking and hollow anymore. It was the most fentle and Angelic sound Rawling had ever heard.

"This has got to be some sort joke!" He walked away and walked back, pasing and mumbling under his breathe, "Mother... This is ridiculous. But here she is. My mommy. Oh, and daddy's here too huh? What a fucking joke."
He pointed at his mother spirit. "You! If you're my mother, answer me this. How come I was separated from the family? And why didn't you look for me!?"

The spirit approached Rawling reaching to touch his face. Rawling took and few steps back, "Answer me first."

She looked dead in his blue eyes, "Rawling. We never stopped looking for you. We searched for 3 years and we thought about you until the day we..." she stopped and looked at Neko.

She looked back in Rawling's eyes. "And as for your disappearance... I don't know what happened. We were going out as a family and we left you alone for a few seconds but we didn't know where you had gone. Trust me when I say that I never let that down...Even in death."

Rawling looked to the ground and a surprising sparkle of a tear dripped off of his face., "So it is you... I'm sorry." ,Rawling fell to his knees and he too looked more like the child that had gotten lost. His blue hair and eyes went back to their original brown and he seemed to wearing the rags that Edo had found him in. "I always thought that... I was forgotten..."

"Pyro?, i thought i heard you..." DB said, and with the end of the sentence he withrawed all his dark eco before light eco burst out and filled him, iluminating the cave.

DB now wearing his light form and a grin scanned around the cave, he noticed a seemingly unfamiliar figure but un-hostile as well and pyro "Well, everywhere there is trouble i find you.... And that used to be my job" He said, using some of the humor he usually never brought up.

"I heard other voices as well" He added, a bit more serious. What is this place? DB wondered

[Neki]

Neko let go of the spirit of her mother. The spirit rose, going to give Rawling a hug.
" We never forgot about you. We searched for so long..." She smiled at the blue haired boy, her boy. Neko shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. The spirit of her mother turned back to her.
" Neko, I am going to give you a gift. You don;t have to take it, but you might like it." The ghost took in a breath, or made the action whether she really was or not.
" I can make it so that when you are using your dark eco, tattoos appear on your face and arms. You can control them partly, and they will never cover your whole face. They willl help you get control, because you wil be able to see when you re usuing your eco." Her mother smiled.
" I would gladl accept this gift other. Not only will it help me, it will alwys make me think of you."
The spirit placed her ghostly hands on Nekos face, and the glowed. It was a purple- black glow, and spread to light the whole room.

[Altairas]

Evey could see the unnatural dark purple glow illuminateing the walls from deeper in the cavern. "Thats suuuuuuuuuper creapy. . ." Evey said to herself as she walked forward her staff still gripped firmly in her hand. Her hand was held infront of her casting off a white light, but there was little need since the strange glow already lit up most of the cavern. But in truth it made Evey just a little bit safer.

She approched a bunch of figures huddleing around a. . . spirt? Evey aproched the group and tapped the one person on the shoulder. "I hope I'm not interupting anything . . " She said putting on a small smile.

Rawling felt somthing. Something that h couldn't feel before. This place was so strange. So mystifying to any mind. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the sensation. It had a warm feeling. I happy feeling. He felt it in Neko's direction.

He opened his ees and was back into his normal form. He stood and stare at Neko's forming tattoos. But it wasn't the tattoos giving off this feeling. It was Neko. It was as if he could feel her presence.

He walked closer to her and the sensation got stonger. He was astounded by this small gift. His mother spirit looked at him and smiled. "I see you've already discovered your gift," She said with a quiet chuckled. "So that you can always look after your baby sister when she needs you the most."

Rawling smurked, "Yes ma'am. Thank you. I could have used it earlier. Ha ha."

[Neki]

Neko could feel the tatoos moving over her face, swirling in the darkness. She heard something, and turned
" Hope I'm not interrupting anything..." She heard Evey say. Neko smiled.
" Evey !" And so now all are reunited and the day is done." She was speaking in riddle, and she knew it, but she didn't care.
" Ya, i'm fine, we're fine, and you're not intterupting anything but my happy reunion with my mother. She smiled at her best frined, going up to give her a hug.

[Altairas]

''Care to explain the tats?'' Evey asked pokeing Neko's face before she could give her a hug. '' Did old glowy do that to you?'' She said pointing to the spirt who's glowing traslucent shape was giveing her the creaps. '' And before you answer those questions did you just call glowy your mom?'' Evey asked confused about the whole ordeal.

After halting her line of questions she noted the presence of Rawling and Pyro and also another man she hadn't met before. '' Hello.'' Evey said entusiasticly extending her hand to the man. '' I'm Evey and you are?'' She asked smileing as she gently turned her staff between her fingers.

[Neki]

Neko laughed.
" Yes, glowy over there is my mother. And yes, she gave me the tattoos. Now you know when im going eco crazy !" She said almost too cheerily. She gave a small laugh and danced around like crazy. She felt free, better than she had in a long time. The wieght of her mothers death was lifted from her shoulds, and she felt like she could fly.
She danced farther and farther into the cavern, then stopped. She jumped up and down for a moment.
" Ya, know, this sounds wierd when you jump on it." She smiled and jumped again to demonstrate the sound. A crack filled the air with the sound of falling rubble, and the floor caved. Neko fell into the cavern below, splashing as she fell into a pool of water.
A thought went through her mind as she watche the lights drift farther away. She smiled, and saw the bubbles of her breath float abovve her. They looked like small crystals carried by the deep blue water.
She sank deeper and deeper, smiling the whole way. She couldnt breath, and darkness ate at the corners of her vission.
It was good while it lated . . .
