The sky was clear and the wind was very light today. Neko sat atop a broken building, surveying the area. It was certainly abandoned, perfect for what she wanted to do.There was no one around for miles, or so she hoped.
She took one last look around, making sure that Evey and Rawling hadnt followed her. She was sure that they didnt know she had left, but one could never tell. They had always meant well watching her after her sickness.
Jumping down, she walked back to the middle where she had set up targets earlier. She didnt want anyone around when she tried to use her eco. It was infectious. She had to learn to control it, before it decided to control her.
Closing her eyes she went to the eco well deep inside of her. It was strange, glittering with the colors of three different eco powers. She smiled, finding the threads of the eco she sought.
Her appearance changed some. The most noticiable was her eyes. They had gone pitch black, as dark as the eco she wanted to use. Her black hair took on a purple hue, and her nails got longer.
Opening her eyes, she started to form a few balls of dark eco. They swirled aroun her head, waiting to be used. Each one was linked to her mind, and she could move them as if they were a part of her. Se gave each one a mental shove, pushing it to a targt.
Something above her exploded. The three targets she had set up were gone, meaning her eco had hit it's mark. More tings exploded in the old ruins. She ran into a half building, trying to see who or what was attacking. She saw raiders circling the ruins, looking for something.
It was only then that she saw the thin pillar of dark purple black light. She ran out, jumping from building to building. The light came closer and closer, and the explosions more frequent. They were trying to blast theri way into the ruins. She jumped to the ground, the light just a few feet in fromt of her, slowly walking up, she saw half a dark eco crystal poking out of the sands.
" Dammit. It figures the one day I don't want trouble I have to ind something the raiders want." She muttered to herself. She picked up the crystal, putting it in the side pouch she kept to hide the light. The explosions were closer, and she knew it was going to be hard to get out.
She got out her jetboard. It would be too slow to outrun them, but maybe she could get somwhere safer before they turned her into crow food. Jumping out she went as fast as she could.
" Get that girl!" One of the raiders screamed. She didnt have a gun, and thats what she needed. Summoning her eco, she flung a few balls behind her, hoping to hit something.
" I could really use some help at the moment." She yelled ito the desert.
