Training Days (The EPIC RP)

"Well... That answers that question." Karras says to himself with a smile once again, "That one's the green eco user and that one's the other. Now where have I seen that eco before?..." The says pondering on seeing Etrius use light eco, "Well... It'll come to me, I know I've seen it. However in the mean time I do believe that I've found my opponent. That is if he can pull himself out of the the rest of his predicament." He says with a bit of a chuckle as he watches Etrius kill one of the marauders.

Giving out a groan of frustration Kelinna kept running from the buggy, the men on board cursing her for their bruised ego's and heads. Dropping to the sandy ground she raised a shield of eco as they fired the turrets at her, looking up at the buggy turning in her direction. Kelinna frowned at the man arming the gun casting a small thing of eco over the turrets barrels she was surprised that her plan had worked. Once the gunner tried to shoot the weapon all the bullets he fired ricoted around the green bubble, destroying the turret the man cursed loudly and took out a hand gun firing at her.
With a gasp Kelinna quickly assumed her running once more only to have the buggy head toward her full force, staying her ground Kelinna summoned a large wall of eco and pushed it toward the on coming vehicle. Wincing as the buggy and eco made contact Kelinna felt a slight remorse as the buggy became a compact, the passengers slowly crawling out of the wreaked mess.

Stepping over the body Etrius began making his way towards the second buggy that had turned around. The driver throttled the buggy to full speed, fully intending to run Etrius down with the vehicle.
Etrius continued to walk toward the marauders in the buggy calmly approaching what could be death if all didn't go as planned.
Putting both of his blades in a reverse grip Etrius stopped and waited on the buggy to come closer.
See that Etrius wasn't going to move made the marauder punch the throttle, pushing the buggy to its max speed. With the buggy only a few yards away Etrius planted his swords in the ground then brought his hands together for a resounding clap. As he did the world around him seemed to slow down until finally it seemed to stop all together.
Pulling his blades back out of the sand Etrius walked over to the buggy and climbed onto the front of it. Sitting down on the hood of the buggy Etrius straightened out his legs so that both of his feet aimed for the marauder in the back seat of the buggy. As he did this he positioned his blades in front of the driver and the passenger. Then relaxing his body he let his control of the light eco drift away.
As he did everything snapped back into motion, including the vehicle he was sitting on. With the sudden momentum of the vehicle pushing forward Etrius slid back into the buggies cab. His feet flew between the driver and passenger and planted firmly in the chest of the rear passenger, kicking him out of the open rear of the buggy. At the same time Etrius's two blades slammed home into the driver and passenger.
As the bodies went limp Etrius let go of his blades and repositioned himself as the buggy slowly came to a stop in front of Kelinna.
"Well I have us a ride," Etrius said as he pushed the two dead marauders from the car while removing his blade from their corpse.

Staring at the blood covered vehicle Kelinna felt slightly nervous at the sight of all the liquid. Getting into the buggy carefully she bit back grimace as she felt a pool of blood underneath her, "Etrius...won't the others worry about this group not coming back to their base or whatever it is they use?" Feeling her skirt start to stick to her legs Kelinna new that her clothes where ruined completely.
Hearing the man cursing and yelling at the others to get up Kelinna could hear a strange sound, turning around she stared at the man in fear and shock. Seeing some of the marauders that crashed into her shield where starting to wake up. The men cheering at the other Kelinna let out a whimper of frustration thinking to herself where in the world did he get a bazooka? She turned to Etrius panic laced in her voice "I think its time we leave now...please?"

Jumping over into the drivers seat Etrius popped up two switches. "I doubt that they'll be missed, me especially."
Looking up he saw one of the marauders get up from the ground, a long tube in his hands. "Well that's not good," Etrius said, flipping another switch. Two machine guns mounted on top of the buggy shifted, the hammers flying back, releasing a bullet, then loading in a new one. With the two guns primed Etrius looked out at the marauders. The one with the bazooka looked over at him with a devious grin. Quickly turning he aimed the bazooka.
"Not today!" Etrius yelled as he squeezed the triggers, letting both machine guns release a hail storm of lead at the last marauders.
The spot where the marauders stood quickly disappeared in a cloud of sand as the bullets ripped up the ground, but not before the bazooka was fired. Etrius's eyes widened as he watched the rocket speed at him with only one thought going through his mind, This really isn't my day.

Clenching her eyes closed Kelinna felt slightly bad for the men who ran into them today. Hearing the guns fire rapidly her head quickly shot up as she heard the bazooka beining fired, screaming in fear she summoned a shield around the buggy.
Knowing that the force and size of the impact was going to be bad Kelinna braced herself for the worse, crying out in slight pain as the bazooka made contact with her shield Kelinna grasped her head in pain.
Concentrating on the shield as sand and fire surrounded them Kelinna could feel blood trickling down her nose, opening her eyes weakly she noticed that the sand had settled as well as the fire going out. Dropping the shield as fast as she put it up Kelinna let her head fall back onto the seat, covering her eyes with her hands Kelinna knew that she was going to have a killer of a headache in a little bit.

Instinctively Etrius raised his arm up to guard his face as the buggy was enveloped in smoke and fire, held at bay by a shield of green eco. As the smoke settled Etrius lowered his arm to find Kelinna getting into the blood soaked vehicle.
He looked at her with a sigh of relief, "Thank you for saving me."
Shifting the buggy into drive Etrius turned it around and began to drive for the oasis and cabin. As they drove over the dunes of sand the carnage of the attack shrunk behind them. He saw no signs of survivors, which in a way was good. They didn't need more marauders breathing down their backs again soon.
Looking ahead Etrius could see the mountains rising up in the distance. At its base he could barely make out a sparkle of water on the horizon, the water reflecting the morning rays of the sun.
With the sight of water it brought one thing to Etrius's tired mind, "I don't know about you but I need a bath."

Well, that was entertaining. Karras thinks to himself as the smoke and fire around the buggy settle and the shield drops, leaving a bloody mess of bodies mangled and ripped apart from various forms of defeat, I wonder. He suddenly thinks as he gets an idea, Those two have been following me ever since I got off the transport. If they plan on going by the oasis on their travels I could probably hitch a ride and save myself a lot of time. A grin coming over his face as he finishes the thought.

Seeing Etrius start the buggy Karras quickly steps behind a rockoutcropping that had been to his left and waits. As soon as the buggy reaches the rocks Karras takes a rolling dive for the underside of the buggy. Sliding between the front and back tires he lets the buggy pass over him then grabs a pipe on the bottom of the rollcage on the back of the buggy and quickly lifts himself up onto the pipe, sitting on it, just below the back seats, out of view of the rear view mirror, As long as they don't stay at the oasis. He thinks to himself as he gets comfortable for the ride.

Nodding weakly Kelinna massaged her head, feeling slightly hazy she closed her eyes her body slumping against the seat as she subcommand to unconscious.
In her mind Kelinna could see herself preforming test like the one she had just done, creating shields that none could destroy. The scientist threw everything at her bullets, missiles, even a canon in one instance but nothing would shatter her protection. Kelinna knew she still had that power she had just forgotten how to access like she use too, she could feel it flowing inside of her wanting to break free.

The sun slowly rose as Etius continued the drive to oasis and the cabin. His cloths clung to from the dried blood that had soaked them earlier. Far behind them a little stream of black smoke floated up into the sky from the wrecked marauder buggies. Hopefully no one would notice it for some time but who knows, marauders could be on them any second.
Looking over at Kelinna he saw that she had passed out. Well she definitely surprised me. Looking forward he saw that the oasis was getting closer and closer, its clear waters shining out like a diamond. With a sigh Etrius gave a tired grin, Well it looks like we may be home free after all.
Once they arrived the only thing that would be left to do would be to find the cabin, if it was still standing, and hope that they would confront no more marauders for at least a few days, hopefully.

It took several hours to reach the oasis but if they were walking it would have been night by the time they arrived. Etrius drove past the oasis, eyes its clear waters as it glittered in the midday sun. Etrius continued to drive, making a large curve around the oasis, searching for the cabin. Driving closer to the mountain side Etrius made out a rough trail that led up into the trees and low hills at the foot of the mountain. That's got be it, he though stopping the buggy and turned it off. The buggy gave a shutter as the engine idled down and turned off as Etrius climbed out of the vehicale. Looking around he could see that the small hill sides here had a decent amount of tree cover while just behind him was the clear waters of the oasis. Beyond that was a clear view out into the desert.
Etrius stared out at the desert, This will be good for watching for marauders or any other unwelcome guests.
Stretching his arms Etrius walked around to Kelinna, gently shaking her to see if she was awake, "Rise and shine, we're here."
