Secrets in Revenge

Edo charged up his dark eco and went on all fours. Spines began shotting from his back on shoulders and his face started to become bat-like. "No," his voice was like and hissing whisper, "That may be where the nest is. We have to get through there."

Rawling started charging up his blue eco. Spark began twinkling from his skin as the aura of blue eminated from him. "He's right Pyro. If the nest his in there we gotta get through. If we close it off they got get out another way.," His voice was almost electric.

"But we can have some fun!" Rawling crossed his pistols forward and started walking forward while firing off bullets towards the horde. The white trace of each round could be seen in the darkness. One by one, the first row of metalheads began falling.

"Hell yes!" Edo roared as a purple trail of dark eco strak behind him. He charged them full on and hit the first one with all his strenghth with his taloned hands. It damn near sliced it in have. He went into a beastly rage tearing and ripping through metalhead flesh and armor while hearing Rawling bullets whistle past his ears.

Edo had a metalhead by it's face, crushing it, and lifting it off the ground as he turned around to Rawling. He pointed at him then pointed at the horde. "Take'em from the rear! I know you can handle it! GO!" He roared as his fist clenched through the metalhead face.

Rawling nodded and holstered his weapons. He charged up his eco and began running from the floor to the walls. Rawling slowed his perception and slowly, more and more, it got darker. The glowing metalhead eyes began to disappear. It was complete darkness.

Rawling concentrated his eco into a condensed ball of lighting in his hand allowing to have blue dancing light to help him see. He set foot back on the ground. He slowed down and turned back down the tunnel. They were a ways off. He miss judged his distance. But good thing he did. He found the nest.

He had to get Pyro and Edo through. Rawling charged his blue eco to an intense level. A blue aura began to flame around him as he bursted off toward them with a magnetic pulse. Huge bolts of lightning started to fire from his body. Rawling pulled out his pistol and smiled at the fast approaching horde. "EAT IT!!!"

Rawling began to drill his body through the metalheads. Shooted off bullets, lighting, and magnetic pulses right through the middle of the metalhead wave. They dropped where they stood, slammed against the wall, or were convulsing from the electrical shocked.

Rawling emerged from the front and slid to turn around. As he did, he slung his arm sending off an intense ripple of a blue EMP blew back all of them back towards the nest. "Pyro lets go! The nest is down there! Use every explosive you got! Dad! Use any dark eco power you can! Lets go!"

Rawling bursted off back towards the nest with lightning surrounded him to light the way.

"Then both of find a way out!" Edo exclaimed as he began to charge his eco.
"What do you mean? You're not coming with us?"[/color
]"No. I'm not. This is what I came back for. This is the very end of the line for me." Edo hugged his son. "Don't cry, don't wine..."
"...keep driving forward." Rawling finished Edo's statement.

Edo gave a smile of pride to his son. "You've grown very strong Rawling. Keep growing" Edo turned and began walking to the center of the nest.

But something was odd about Edo. His eco was raging intensely yet gracefully. Edo turned to Rawling and Pyro to reveal what he really looked like before his dark eco curse. He looked like a very disciplined man. But his green eyes showed someone who was more livelier than that. "You two! Get out of here! I'm going to blow it!"

Edo was tapping into his soul's eco. Once he released it, not only will it set off the explosives and the energy he will release will more than likely bring the entire cave system down.

Rawling nodded. And Edo nodded back. As if they were silently saying good-bye. Rawling turned and started to run. "We gotta find a way out. We don't have much time."

Edo watched as Rawling and Pyro ran out. He was pushing his entire eco out of his body. So much that the dark began expelling itself out of him. It began to fill and cover the cavern walls. The explosives detected the eco and armed themselves.

"It's time. May the precursors forgive my sins. And may the Darkmakers..." A surge of bright eco of multiple colors shook the caverns as it shockwaved from Edo. And his last words were spoken."...CHOKE ON THEM!!!"

He crossed his arms and brought his power to its maximum levels. He pushed both arms out and set and explosion of white light with pale shifting colors destroying every metalhead and infant in the cavern and through the cave system.

Rawling was running through the tunnels when he heard the explosion of power go off. It was quiet for a few seconds but the silent was followed by a rumble behind him. Rawling turned his head. To see the energy behind him.

A spark flashed in his eyes as they suddenly widen. "Oh my god..." He thought and he charged up his eco. "Pyro lets go. Come on!" With that Rawling bursted off leaving a blue tracer behind him.

Rawling kept his sight straight ahead. A smile broke throgh his face. "I know, Pyro... I know."

He began thinking back to when Edo first found him. The times when Edo was teaching him the ways of the gun. How to hit a mark no matter what the situation might be. And to no matter what happens,"Keep your head up! Focus! And keep going for it!", Edo words rang in his head and he started to see an exit.

"Race ya Pyro!," Rawling bursted off in a blue streak ahead of Pyro.

"Not even close!" Rawling shouted clear ripples began to surround him. He glided over the rocky terrain of the cave and hauled it towards the exit passing up Pyro with ease.

Rawling finally met the exit. He slid his ground on the ground as he turned back toward the cave leaving behind dig marks on the ground. Rawling could see the light of Edo's eco eminating from the cave approaching the surface fast.

Rawling widened his eyes in both shock and frustration," 5 Miles! Damn you Pyro! This is my home! s*** dude!"

"But I have no choice...It's too late now..."

Rawling noticed was going the a different way that Rawling needed to go. "Go on ahead! I need to get that lock box. Meet me at Haven's main gate. Got it!?"

The ground began to rumble violently followed by surface explosions around the approximate area of the nest. Rawling jolted in surprise "Move Pyro!"

Rawling bolted off on clear, blue ripples moving faster he had ever moved through these trees. He ran up one large tree and began to hop the tree branches.

A VERY large explosion went off immiting a shockwave that knocked Rawling out of the trees. He landed safely to only see a wall of fire rapidly approaching him, "AHH!! f**k YOU PYRO!!" He scrame running away from it.

His burnt home was in sight and so was the lock box. Good thing it was metal... Rawling grabbed it with his magnetism until it reached his hands and launched himself off the ground narrowly avoiding a large tree branch. High in altitude he turned at the painful sight of his long life home being inciderated.

"Nothing to do about it now...," he thought as he slowly descended to the ground. He was getting winded by all of the excitement and was well clear of the forest. He landed on the ground next to a lone tree in a grassy field. He sat back on the tree and closed his eyes, breathing slightly heavy.

He stared at the lock box and took the key at hand. He opened it to find. A folder of papers, several letters, and an old rifle. The very rifle Edo alwaysed used when Rawling was little. It was broken but was a very rememberable piece. Rawling looked through the papers, finding his birth certificate, a picture of what looked like his parents and possibly his sister. But more heartbreaking. The death certificates of his parents.

Rawling sighed,"I never get a break do I?" Folded the picture and put it in the inside pcket of his jacket. He closed the lock box and locked it. Carried it by its handle as he began walking towards Haven City.

He then bursted into the sky like a giant leap and slowly descended himself. He continued his for a couple of hours until he finally saw the walls of the city. "Finally... I can try to get some rest... And recollection of everything I've found..," He felt a jolt of sadness grip his heart,"..and lost today.

Rawling saw Pyro near the gate as he fell to the ground. He descending slowly but he finally tired out 20 ft from the ground. He fell hard on the ground and slowly got up breathing heavily.

He tried lifting the metal lock box with magnetism but it only left the ground a couple of inches when it fell back down. Rawling grabbed it by its handle and walking in front of Pyro.

"I should beat the hell out of you. But I'll save it for another day. I'm tired." He walked passed pyro and entered the gate. He was stopped by a KG gaurd and demanded to search the box. Rawling let him but was questioned about the rifle.

"This was my dad's but it doesn't work anymore."
"I'll have to confiscate this one." The gaurd said in a smart assed and arrogant tone.
"What!? Why!? It doesn't work anymore, I just want to have n my house as a memento to my father!"
"I'm sorry. Thought I had a job to do. Oh yeah. I do!" The guard snatched the rifle up and began walking away.

Immediately, Rawling put his arm around the gaurd's neck and put a gun to his head. "You WILL let me keep it you son of a bitch! You know damn good and well I am allowed to enter this city with it! I'm tired of you arrogant little pricks pushing people around! And I'm going to let you know now. I am NOT about to hounded by you all!

Several other gaurds showed up, guns pointed at Rawling. "Release him NOW and surrender peacefully!"

"Give me the rifle and I'll leave. Simple as that. I will leave you all alone and I will not be in your way. Just give me to gun..." Rawling was more serious than he had ever been. When it came to his family, Rawling would be its guardian. He was not allow the KG ruin the only memory left of Edo. Ever...

Rawling realeased the gaurd and holstered his gun. "I wish you could trust your citizens more... Its sad." Rawling brushed himself off and grabbed all of his stuff.

He caught up to Pyro. "I'm sorry for making a ruckus. But thank you Pyro.

Rawling nodded his head. "You got it."

He began walking the other direction towards his house. He was taking in everything that's happened this past day. A lot had happened...

"To think all I wanted to do was take revenge on those metalheads. Only to gain the secrets Edo had kepted from me all theese years. But Edo... i'll remember everything you've done for me and everything you've taught me. I'll see you again someday.

Rawling reached his house and set the lock box on the kitchen table. He pulled out the rifle and mounted it right over the front door. Rawling examined it for a second,"Yeah that's a good spot."

He went into the bedroom and hopped in his bed. where he quickly went to sleep... with peace.
