Secrets in Revenge

Edo fell to the ground to the hard force of Pyro's punch. "I'd like to see you when you're that desperate!" He said as he stood back up. "The Dark Makers came to me first! And it wasn't just Rawling I did this for! I wanted to kill those sons of bitches who killed me in the first place!!

"Now don't you dare lay your hands on me again boy! Or I swear on the Precursors I will rip you apart!" Edo was furious, and his black eyes was swirling hues of red. But he quickly calmed himself. "This will not last long. Just long enough to see you, Rawling and kill every last metalhead. I've got most of them. There are more underground."

"So there is a nest?"

Edo nodded his head.

"Well dad, lets get to work. I'll catch things up with you as we head down there."

"Rawling. You were always good at tracking. Hop to it."

Rawling nodded his head and bursted around the area searching at lightning speed.

Edo watched in amazement and chuckled a little. "A lot has changed in the past couple weeks. I never thought that my son would ever be in possession of eco. Where did he learn it anyway?" He asked Pyro.

"A soul is a soul right?"

Rawling put a thumbs up next to a heavy brush of foliage, "I found something! Its a tunnel!"

"Good work!", Edo shouted back. He then addressed back to Pyro. "I just guess that the Dark Makers are desperate. But forget that come on. We have work to do."

He starting walking toward Rawling lost in thought, "So... Rawling found the eco pool. I was hoping that he didn't but I guess it was a good thing. I kept that location secret for so long... Maybe I should tell him about everything else...
"But he's using it well. I just have to see him in battle."

Rawling reached down to grab Pyro's collar."Pyro wait! If there's a whole colony down there, its suicide to hit them head on."

"Rawling's right. Is there another way down?"

[adeco]

Edo thought for a second staring into the chasm. "I have an idea. You two go ahead attack the two grunts with as much noise as possible. Once the rest are lured, lead them out. And we can pick them off as they exit."

"That a good idea. Pyro lets go!" Rawling ran next to Pyro. You ready for some fun?" His irises began to glow slightly and small bits of sparks began running through his hair. He tied his yellow, smiley bandanna over his mouth. "Lets do this."

Rawling fired off a few rounds, popping them in the heads, "Lets move! I'm sure we got their attention!"

Rawling put himself in jog looking behind himseld firing off bullets towards the metalheads. He was approaching the exit and could see that Edo's eyes were once again like an empty abysmal hell.

"Dad here they come! Get Ready!"

Edo's pointed teeth glared towards the chasm below. He was blood lusted. And anything would be possible a that point.

In a screeching roar, Edo went into a rampage. The dark eco was taking affect on his mind and body. A mere gash was eating away at every metal head he had mauled.

One by one, by two, even three. Edo dropped them all. Ripping them in halfs, throwing them across the chasm and into stalagmites. He was blood. His ferocity even made some of the smaller grunts to back off cowardly but those were the ones Edo had more fun with.

Edo had almost clear the room single handedly. But there was even more deeper inside. Edo began running into the darkness, "Lets go! NOW!," He said in a wheezy, hollow voice. He got on all fours and bolted back into another fray only to repeat what he had been doing.

Rawling went duel as metalhead upon metalhead charged him. His crack shot skill and speed was collaborated with his control of blue eco making him a one shot wonder with every trigger pull. His accuracy was so great that he even shot bullets passed Pyro ears.

Every shot was a kill. And the cave was almost cleared when he heard his father and saw him running deeper in. "Not without us! Wait!," Rawling said still firing off rounds. With boths hands pulling triggers he followed the battle crazed Edo into the cavern.

Edo brought a swift back slap towards Pyro, "You fool! You've trapped us down here with the metalhead commandant! You had better know what you're doing!"

"Really man, what the hell was that for!?," Rawling supported Edo in this one. "You cut off our only escape route."

Rawling and Edo walked side by side both seemed focused on the mission at hand. But Edo seemed to get more bothered with every step until he was looking to the ground as if in shame.
"Dad, you ok?," Rawling finally asked.

Edo gave a sigh,"Rawling understand. Even though I found you as an orphaned child... You're my son. No matter what the circumstance."

Rawling was puzzled and gave him a confused look, "Ok... I know that. Why are you telling me this?"

Edo continued to look to the ground, "This may be our last time together... A few years ago I began doing research and and hired a private investigator to... Ah, shit Rawling! I found your really family."

Rawling stopped in his tracks. His heart instantly began pumping faster and faster and his body became weak. "Wha..What did you say? My family? And you kept this from me!? Why!?" Noth anger and disapointment was in Rawling's voice.

Edo stopped and turned his head to Rawling and an unexpected tear leaked out of Edo's hollow eye. "I didn't want to let you go. I didn't want you going back to them," Edo disposed of the tear, "There is a steel lockbox with all of there information, plus some. That key to it is in a knothole in your tree. Now let's move. We could run out of air down here so lets get a move on." He began walking away towards Pyro.

Rawling followed but stayed behind. "How could he hide them from me? Why so...?" He was interupted by a screeching roar in the distant darkness.

The bird metalheads were everywhere. Flying over their heads lashing out with their talons as they flew by. Both Edo and Rawling kept their heads low until Rawling saw Pyro actually riding on one.

"Screw this!" He exclaimed pulling out both guns and pointing up at the montrosities. His irises began to glow a vivid blue and his perception began to slow. He was in focus once again and he saw everything. Every flap of the metalheads' wings. Every movement they made.

Rawling took aim and fired both clips out in a few seconds flat. That action nearly cleared out the entire area. Nine metalheads fell to the ground as Rawling reloaded.

"Damn! Nice shooting, kid." Edo said with pride over his son.

"I learned from the best," Rawling winked at Edo.

More screeches were approaching. They just kept coming. Rawling kept on dropping them and Edo went into his demonic beastly form, leaping into the air and tearing the metalheads apart as the flew by.

Edo finally landed on the ground and heard the distance sound of a large group marching to their position. Just then hundreds of yellow glowing eyes emerged from the darkness.

"Rawling! Pyro! On my 12! Look!" Edo pointed with his claws finger towards the horde. "This must be the main forces of the nest!"
