Secrets in Revenge

Rawling could see it. His home. The back woods of the world. The emerald green leaves felt nostalgic to him and he was glad to be back. He could smell the clean freshness of the air. He was home

As the party approached the forest Rawling saw the large tree trunks and the beams of sunlight fighting to get into the thick trees. He already see some of the wildlife running through the dead leaves and bushes. "Welcome to my home fellas."

Rawling advanced deeper into the dense parts of the woods. "You smell that? That's what air is supposed to smell like. So enjoy it as much as you can.

"Now, I've live my whole life here. I know every tree, leaf, snake hole and stump in this place so just follow me and stay close. You could get lost easily if you don't know where you're going."

Venturing deeper he could smell the char of wood in the air. The nostalgic nightmare began to thrash his mind of the horrible event that look place here. As his memory dug deeper, so did his desire for revenge or for Edo's death and the destruction of his home.

Rawling noticed the house that Pyro cme out of. "Looks like someone has made themselves a home here since I left."

"Pyro watch yourself. I don't want to search for you later!"

Rawling shook his head as he came into a clearing. It was his home. The charred ruins of the place that he had live all of his life. He approaching the burnt wood of the house and the smell of the scorching and smoke was still strong. He looked through the rubble when he found a large metal lock box.

"What is this? I've never seen this here before." He took a closer look at it. The thing was locked pretty tight. He dragged it out of the wreckage. And stared at it for a moment. "Why haven't I seen this thing before. Was Edo hiding it from me?"

Though Rawling was curious about the chest, he didn't want Pyro to get lost in the woods. But before he had ventured into in forest he took a look to Edo's grave sight... It had been dig up!!

Rawling hurried to the hole and spared into it with shock. Tears began to flow from his eyes. Tears of sadness at first. Then of anger. He started screaming at the top of his lungs. So loud that it was possible that the entire forest could hear him.

"AAAAAAARRGHH!!!!!!!! PYROOO!!!! GET OVER HERE!!!"

Oh he was pissed beyond belief. "Who did this to my father's grave is going to pay!" He said with a quivering voice shaking in ferocity and anger.

He looked towards the ground without any blink. Anger was flowing through him and he knew that Pyro could see it. "This...this is my father's grave. I made it for him. I put him in..."His voice was low and calm...but the anger was stronger than is appeared.

"Someone desecrated it! Someone took him. Why!..Why!!" He shouted with both sadness and fury and tears flowed up from his eyes and he dropped to his knees"...Why....?"

Rawling started walking due west. He was lost in thought about this Edo's grave. Why? Why dig up a dead man? He looked around the forest and reminisced on past memories. On the fun he had in these woods. The lessons of marksmanship and self improvment passed to him from Edo.

His as he looked around he noticed something familiar about this place. A chill went down his spine! "Pyro! This is the direction of the possible metal head nest!"

He then started running ahead of Pyro and eventually got to the clearing where the metalheads had been...Thousands upon thousands of dead metalheads lay upon the ground and smoke rose from the ground. "Is this where his spirit went?"

He looked out into the distance. To the west. There was someone in the distance towards the end of the clearing. "And I think he was right."

In a swirling fury of black ribbons, Edo stood like a beast, not like a man. Hunched over with his arms dangling down. He looked at Rawling and Pyro and a roaring howl came from out of his mouth. Edo's eyes were blacker than the darkest night and his face was covered in thorns and spines. Edo went down on all fours and fiercely started running at them.

"Dad! DAD! Stop! Its me! Rawling!" The beast Edo leaped out at Rawling and all time slowed for him. Everything he had remember of his noble father seemed like they meant nothing anymore. Edo himself was coming at him to kill. "What happened to you?"

Rawling couldn't run. He had to know was wrong with Edo. "Whats's going on with him? Why is he like this? He was dead when I left. How is he alive now? And how did he get like this!?"

Edo was furiously beating at the red shield. Rawling's spine began to shiver as Edo looked directly into Rawling's blue eyes. They both stood still staring at one another. And in a multi toned, hissing voice, Edo spoke. "Rawling?" He stood up hunched over. "My son...What are you doing here?"

Rawling was shaking and has speechless. he took a step forward, "Dad?"

"Of course it is! Who else would it be!? Come on think. Think about it!"

Rawling's face grew a huge smile. "Yea its, definitely him. What happened to you?"

"Well what happened to you?" Edo looked around. And knocked on the red eco shield. "Things may be a little easier to explain if you're friend here lets us actually talk face to face."

Rawling nodded. "Drop it, Pyro."

"Edo looked to the ground as if ashamed of something. Guilt was in his dark empty eyes.

"Well..."His hollow voice of barely words." I was..."

"Well what happened dad?"

Edo seemed to look further to the ground. He then turned around to hide his face.

"I can't tell you...I'm too ashamed... To refuse to die with honor... And come back as a coward of fate...I'm garbage..."

Edo looked to Pyro. Its more than just dark eco, boy. This is permanent." His eyes were sad looking at Rawling. "I thought that you wanted me back. I'm your only family. So, I did that unthinkable...Rawling I..." He looked to the ground," I made a deal with the Dark Makers..."

"Rawling's eyes went wide with shock. "Dad! You didn't!"

"Its true. They brought me back to life. Only with the permanent manifestation of dark eco. That wasn't the deal we made though. I promised them my soul's eco. But what can you control with the Dark Makers."
