Beginning Battle

[Pyro]

This RP tells starts the story of one of Pyrius' major battles against the Barron and his forces. It begins in the Industrial Section, just outside the Slums.

Pyrius enters the Industrial Section after leaving a meeting with Torn. They were talking about Pyrius' next mission tomorrow. He was to infiltrate the Krimzon Gaurd base with a partner of his choice. He still has to find the partner. But first, he has his own plans for today. "Today's the day," Pyrius says to himself, "I will talk to Katrina." He has been working up to this day for a long time. Just about as long as he has liked her, around one year. At the moment, he is thinking about how to approach her, Pyrius glances to the left, and out of the corner of his eye, sees three Krimzon Guards following him. Quickly looking around, he sees four other Guards watching him. "Did they find out about the ammo dump I destroyed already?"he mutters to himself as he starts to pump blue eco through his body. As he began, three more guards came around the corner in front of him and began walking towards him. "Good morning gentlemen, is there a problem?" The Gaurd in the middle was the one who spoke, "Pyrius, by order of the Barron Praxis, you are under arrest." "Under what charges?" "Destruction of Krimzon Gaurd property and aiding in the rebellion against the Barron." "(sigh) You know, I didn't really want to do this, but, oh well, just another day ruined," Pyrius remarked while pulling out his katana and releasing his eco to its full power. "Let's dance!" he challenged, taking a fighting stance. At that moment, around twenty more Gaurds surrounded him, coming out from hiding and riding up in zoomers. "OK," Pyrius muttered, "I might need some help with this."

[Wolfie]

Tonus is leaning on a nearby wall, looking over the horizon of the book he was currently reading happily. He is now focused on the current situation before him between the guards and the stranger he has yet to ponder about with curiosity. As for now, Tonus to contemplating whether he hould go help the fellow or continue minding his business with his book. Tonu's veins in his hands glow a little bit of green as he watches, either preparing to help the convicted or preparing to take a little bit of crossfire from where he is leaning.

[Pyro]

"So, let me get this straight. Twenty to one, right?" Pyrius begins to wonder if he should try and wait for help, or if he should try to take them all on his own. He starts to size up each individual Gaurd, deciding which one would be the best to take out first. He decided the best bet would be the Gaurd with the two pistols, the one who talked to him and said he was under arrest. "You be the one in charge of these boys?" he asked the Gaurd. "Maybe, you be the one who destroyed that dump and killed half my men with it?" "Maybe, whats it to you?" "Nothin' just that a few of em were my friends." So, this was a revenge mission. Does the Barron even know about it? Before he could even figure out, he heard a noise, behind him, saw a flash of red in his katana's reflective surface, and started fighting. While fighting, he felt a pain in his side. The pain built, until it was so great, he fell from the pain. "Can't someone come just once?" he wondered.

[Wolfie]

Tonus lets out a swift breathe before slamming the book to a full shut and puts it away. He then focuses his energy on the stranger. In an attempt to heal him during the fight. Tonus' focus with his green eco power is slowly sapping him of his energy. He starts to prop himself up with his staff as formidable support, for now anyway.

[Pyro]

Pyrius kneels on the ground, feeling the pain from the nonfatal but very painful wound the Gaurd leader gave him with a well aimed shot. He looks down at his side and sees blood runnung down his side. "Of course, it has to happen today," he says, wondering if he will live long enough to talk to Katrina. Pyrius feels himself start to fall foward, and steadys himself with his sword, getting ready for the end. Before he can completely pass out, the pain in his side begins to slowly fade, and he felt less faint. When Pyrius looked down at his wound again, he saw that it was partially healed. "Well, this is a surprise. I don't have any friends with healing powers that I know of." Looking around, he saw a man leaning against his staff, a look of concentration on his face. "Well, I just might have made a new ally." Desperate to keep the Gaurds attention away from this man, Pyrius gets up and, with renewed strength, lets his blue eco loose o its full power and begins zipping around the Gaurds, taking them down one by one. When he got to the last Gaurd, he realized it was the leader. He Pyrius struck the Gaurd in the head, knocking him down. "Now listen to me," Pyrius told the Gaurd, "You tell the Barron, if he wants me, he has to come get me himself. I know he told you to come here, even if the only reason you took the mision was to get revenge for your friend. You tell him what I said, and don't take any detours. I will have some men watching you, and if you go somewhere else, you will be eliminated. Understand?" The Gaurd looked at him, wondering whether he should do it. "Fine." he muttered. After watching the Gaurd walk away, Pyrius turned to greet the stranger that helped him. "So, whats your name?" he asked the man.

[Wolfie]

Tonus lowers his hand, the green glow fading away as he breathes heavily from his energy being sapped "Tonus, yours?" Tonus slowly stoood up, nearly lossing all of his balance as if a hurricane hit him. "I must find somewhere to rest though. Healing others takes the lot out of me when I concentrate my green eco like that."

[Pyro]

Noticing how tired Tonus was, Pyrius decided to reay him for his help. "I'm Pyrius. You can come with me to my place to rest there for a while. After that, I need to introduce you to someone, if its OK with you." Pyrius was thinking about Torn. Just the other day, Torn was talking about how much better it would be if someone who could heal was with them. Of course, Torn would want to find out a little about him, maybe even put him up to an initiation mission, to make sure if he could take care of himself. Hopefully, Tonus was up to it. But before anything like that happened, Tonus needed to recover. *I just hope he agrees* Pyrius thought to himself.

[Wolfie]

"Alright." Tonus continues to rely on his staff for support, "Who do you want me to meet anyway?" Tonus asked with intruigment before regaing some of his balance. He then readies himself to follow Pyrius to whereever he is heading.

[Pyro]

"You'll see," Pyrius remarked, "but first, you need to rest." Pyrius wanted to make sure Tonus was in top form before meeting Torn, otherwise, he won't be able to finish the initiation mission, if he accepts it. Pyrius really wanted Tonus to be accepted into the Underground, not only because he would be a help with his healing powers, but also because he might be able to help Pyrius with his next mission in the KG Base. He could tell Tonus was a talented man, even without powers. He just hoped he was up to the challenge if he joined.

[Wolfie]

Tonus was weighing his decisions before he replied, wondering what he just got himself into."Alright," Tonus agreed with Pyrius, "I guess I'm following you to where ever you're going." Tonus got up from his staff and lifted it up lightly before putting it back on the ground. He let out a small grin before starting to follow Pyrius anywhere. "So, where exactly are we heading again?" Tonus asked in slight wonderment.
