Beginning Battle

[Pyro]

"First, we're headin' to my place, so you can rest. After that, I need you to try somethin' fro me. You are the only person that I now know that has the ability to heal without the help oh herbs and other medicines that tend...not...to work. I want you to meet someone." Pyrius paused here, wandering if he could trust this new ally. He seemed nice enough, but Pyrius learned that most of the time, the calm and nice could be hiding very destructive secrets. This is when Pyrius remembered something very important to his next mission. "Before I tell you anything else, we need to stop by Onin's place. She has something for me I am in very great need of. I don't like guns that much and I am in need of a long range attack. She told me she might be able to help me." Pyrius finished by climbing into his zoomer parked in an isolated corner. "Climb on up."

Tonus stood at the zoomer. *What have I gotten myself into?* He then hesitantly climbed into the zoomer. "So.... who's exactly in Odin?" He asked strapping himself into the zoomer tightly, having the precaution. Tonus sets his staff at feet and firmly jams it in a tight location so it stays in place during the trip. "Why would you need someone of my particular talents? For what mission exactly?" Tonus had to wait for his answers, either knowing he wouldn't get them, or, he won't get his answers at all.

"Onin lives in the Bazaar, near the Gardens," Pyrius explained, "She has powers over eco. She may be blind, but you don't want to make her mad." Pyrius started up his zoomer and headed off for the Bazaar and Onin's place. "If you want, you can go to sleep, I need you to stay in the zoomer when we get there." As Pyrius drove into the Bazaar with Tonus, he looked behind them to make sure they weren't being followed. *Looks clear, but I could be wrong* As they drove through the Bazaar, Pyrius kept looking for suspicious Gaurd activity. Occasionally, Pyrius would take a wrong turn, double back, and hide in a dark corner, trying to throw off anyone who might be following them. Wheb they finally made it to Onin's, Pyrius was sure that nobody had followed them. "Alrighty then, if you want you can walk around," Pyrius said, putting his attention on Tonus, "but I need you to stay out here, and in the area. I'll be back in a few." As Pyrius walked into Onin's tent, he did his usual look-around, gazing at the rare and ancient things she always kept in her tent. He caught sight of Onin, sitting in the middle of the floor, cross legged. "Hello Onin, Pecker," Pyrius greeted them, "Do you have it?" Pecker was the one who answered, like always, "What, no 'How are you?'. Geez, you sure do get right to business don't you?" "Sorry, I'm in a hurry. Got someone waiting outside." "Fine, fine. Onin says the orb is in the jar on the shelf. The red one." Pyrius walked over to the shelf and opened the red jar. Inside was a little yellow orb, glowing ominously. Pyrius reached in and grabbed it, only to open his hand and find it gone. "Now that you have the power of yellow eco, you will be able to throw balls of eco at your enemies. Use it well." "Thanks. I will be going now." As he walked out of the tent, Pyrius wandered if Tonus would still be in the zoomer.

Tonus had decided to wander over to a nearby stand to look at the merchan'ts good for a bit. He then turned around to find Pyrius over on the other side and waved greetingly at him. Tonus then decided to walk over to his new ally and proceeded with a statement. "This place is amazing, I don't get out much so I really don't know what it's like outside the library much alone what goes on withing Haven." Tonus then help up a trinket so Pyrius can see what it was. "Know where I can send this somewhere?"

Pyrius looked at the piece. It looked a bit valuable. "Depends where you need it sent. I got a few boys around who will be able to get it to different areas in the city. Just tell me where and I can help." Pyrius then began testing out his new power by pulsing the yellow eco through his veins. "Whoa that feels weird." he said, and looked at Tonus with a smile.

"I want it sent to my family." Tonus said, on closer examination the trinket was actually a necklace. He then placed the necklace into his pocket. "I usually send them letters on how I'm doing. It keeps my mother from worrying, and i think this necklace will be a present for them." Tonus then continued back to the zoomer and strapped himself in. "I also got some eco training later on. I told the person I'd be back for it."

[Pyro]

"Alright then. Afterwards we can go to my place and you can rest. In the morning we can go see Torn, my boss. On the way to your training we can stop at my buddy's place so you can send the letter and gift." Pyrius started up the zoomer and drove to the slums. He stopped in front of a house halfway down an alley. "Here we are. Come on, he won't come out, but he won't let us in. We always talk in the doorway." And with that, he knocked on the door.

Tonus got out and stood beside Pyrius. *Who is Torn?* Tonus then started to think about his family back home, then wondered how his brothers were doing, then proceeded to wonder about his parents. Tonus' heart ached about his home, he feared the worst about home and his family from time to time, but he knew they were alright in the end. He waited patiently beside Pyrius for the time being, still wondering who torn was.

Pytius knocked on the door. With a creak, it opened just enough so they could see a man's eye. "Who says the Precursors are the makers of the precursor metals?" they heard him say. "Only those who say that they believe and knew the Precursors." Pyrius answered. "How you doin' Pyrius?" "Pretty darn good. Hey I need a favor. This man's name is Tonus, and he needs somethin' sent to his family. He'll give you the info you need, and then we'll be on our way." "Alright, where and when you need it sent?" he asked Tonus, suddenly business like.
