Explanation?, anyone?. I mean, its a very nice show and i give the script writers and animators quite a bit of credit. But still, i find it rather ordinary.

I've studied next to my lil' sis watching all these kid shows, It works on all the exact same principles.

How can we explain awesome? It has the silliness and humor of any cartoon, but with an actual story and a lesson learned at the end. Yet despite that, it doesn't become repetitive or any less amusing. Plus, there are ponies in it. That's about the most rational it gets.
