How can something so kiddy and so girly be so addictive! WHY I ASK YOU, WHY!

I was browsing a few art forums that I frequent and a lot of people have been commenting on my little pony. So I was all like, "Okay I want to see whats so hot about this."
So I went an looked with the mentality of one the people that left a comment on the video:

okay! okay! I'll watch 5 minutes but just to see what it's about!

And I've been addicted ever since.

Its mainly due to /co/ and 4chan that the series became so popular in the first place. I think its just the animation and general spin of the show that makes it so likable. But I'm at a loss too on why its so addicting to watch. ; _ ;
