Keep on him! Make him join the herd! I have 2 friends that are slowly becoming obsessed with it only because they heard of Discord and who he was voiced by. (Q from the Star Trek Next Generation Series).....I also have a friend who's mom just recently feel in love with the show.

It doesn't require any prior knowledge of the characters, but you still get a good idea of what the series is about, plus the personalities of the mane six.

Yes, Yes...good... Honestly you really dont need to watch the first 2 episodes...I mean, its the kind of show that doesn't really have a definite story line...It just deals with the lives of the ponies in Ponyville rather than a bad guy....Actually I take that back, they are getting ready for the Grand Galloping Gala throughout the season..but not every episode.
