Starus returned is salute, as it is custom. He then relieved his salute after he heard Benjamin's excuse. Starus then shook his head in disbelief. "Tch tch tch. Benjamin, you know better than that. But even still you could have stopped by headquarters to acquire some. Also, you should have had a reserve in your vehicle. Unless, of course, you have been so careless enough to neglect to replenish it?" His voice was calm but it was still stern as hell.

Then then smelt something. Perfume? Starus had to chuckle a bit and smile a bit. "Do you have lady here? It smells awfully pleasant." His smile quickly went away. "But none the less Benjamin. If you came here because of a woman just say so. You should not have to lie to me. Unless of course, you enjoy you home smelling in such a way.." He said with an eyebrow raised.

Khaloron saw John approaching. His head was down and turned towards John. His orange eyes could be seen through the shadow of his hood. He stared at John. Unwavering. Without a word being spoken. "Come!" He spoke out loud then went into an old building. It looked abandoned. There he waited.

A silence hung over the two of them for a moment as they finished their meals. Noel was beggining to feel the slightest bit edgy, and eventually starting to fidget in her seat. She felt like she wasn't safe anymore. And not just because of the heart-squeezing horror story that Benny had just unleashed, but it felt like... it felt like they we'ren't alone anymore.

Suddenly a loud banging on the front door confirmed her premonition, along with a gruff - and considerably angry - voice. It was muffled, but loud enough for her to hear the man call Benny's name and order him to face him immediately. Ellie had jumped out of her chair with a terrified shriek. "I can't be found!" She couldn't leave any trace of her presence. Noel grabbed her mostly empty plate and her half full cup of apple juice and emptied it in the sink. With only one glance at Ben, who had begun to cover up the scent of their meal with -- perfume? She giggled for a second, then remembered just exactly why he was doing that and quickly set to find a hiding place a Benny had told her to.

She slipped into his room after he'd gotten back into his red soldiers' suit, and looked around frantically. The first thing she tried was the closed; Noel opened the closet door, only to have to dodge out of the way of a falling box. She clenched her teeth and winced as it landed with a massive thud. She quickly tried to put it back but it was too heavy, and so she left it, half in the closet, the rest of it sitting in plain sight. She ended up shoving her little body into an even littler space beneath the bed.

Ellie curled up and quieted her whimpering. By now, she had thoroughly convinced that they had already tracked her down and come to seize her and take her back into custody. She clutched the dagger hanging around her neck, finding warmth in the crystal that was fastened to it's hilt. There, she found a distant comfort.

And there, she waited.
