Haven City? This place was supposed to be safe? Yes, the walls were there, keeping danger out. But they were also keeping people in. Containing their free will and right of passage. Was there really anything outside those walls except desert? The child could vaguely remember that she’d been wandering that God-forsaken desert for hours upon hours. The evidence of that was still on her clothes and body; she was covered in filth. Her face had dirt and tearstains and bloodstains upon it. She moved with a fearful stealth through the streets, trying to wake up. Wake up. Wake up! This place wasn’t real! There were strange people around her, and looming above her was an impossible building.
There were those scary red soldiers like the ones from the prison keeping sentry in the streets of the ghetto part of town. She figured that they were all over. She lifted her hood of her American Outfitters jacket and covered her face. Her wings were as hidden as possible under it, pressed tightly and painfully to her back. Her gray-blue eyes flickered anxiously to the Guards, the townspeople, the Palace. Oh, God.
As she’d done in the prison, she sang quietly to herself, muttering the tune of Nine Crimes under her breath. Instantly the words seemed to surround and comfort her and, she continued down the street. Where she was going, she did not know. She just wanted to curl up in some dark, hidden corner and fall asleep. Maybe she’d wake up in her own bedroom to the homey smell of her Aunty’s fresh pancakes. Oh, didn’t she wish!
This was no dream. This was real. And she was wanted.

It was right about noon, DB scoured the city for anyone carrying groceries, on his way to the market he also looked to find any restaurants he had not previously conned. Winds were blowing dust off the dirty floor and DB sighed, something about this day made him feel as though he was hanging off a noose. Suddenly he saw a very unusual character obviously not native to the city, fear resonated in its eyes as it hid from sight as its bloodstained clothes testified of a some-what rough experience. I wonder... The thought echoes din his mind as he slowly approached the figure, only to turn around quickly at the sight of an armed KG approaching the same target.
"Hey you okey?" Benjamin asked the stranger glancing over to the blood stains, estimating Noel's age. "My name is Benjamin, i am officer of the law here, you can trust me" He pointed toward a near-by bench for them to sit on, his voice soft as though he spoke to a traumatized patient. Ive been patrolling this area for years, strange to see a new face... No one informed me of a new family moving in... So careless to let a girl this young wonder these streets alone... and looking like this aswell The thoughts wondered aimlessly in his mind, Ben sighed and awaited a reply as he took off his shining yellow helmet and held aside his rifle.

Raven walked the streets needing the fresh air after what had just happened. She was terrified that Jace would do something stupid. He was careless and arrogant, that was trouble in itself. She wasn't entirely used to this town yet, but she was working on it. As she wandered around just watching the people go on with their lives, she felt the tears of grief fall down her cheeks.
Raven hadn't known Julius as long as Jace had, but he had taken her in with no questions asked. He was a caring sweet man that loved Jace. Jace was torn up and she could tell. She'd known Jace just as long as she had known Julius, but he was still her brother, she felt the things he felt, which right now was sorrow and grief.
Raven sobbed silently as she trudged down the sidewalk. She didn't pay any attention to the people anymore, she just thought.

For a moment, as she was walking, she felt more and more anxious. Her thoughts grew more frantic. She could tell people were looking – no, staring at her. She felt that any moment someone would alert the guards and scream, It’s the bird freak! Noel didn’t even know if Erol had sent his men out to find her, or even if he’d perhaps alerted the whole city. She just kept a straight face, or as close to that as she could manage. But then she saw someone brightly clad approach her, and her head snapped up.
She nearly shrieked when she saw it was a Krimzon Guard. He wore one of those new yellow suits. (My friend and I call those Guards the Banana People ) Sucking in a breath, she considered fleeing. But if she did, she knew he’d probably just pursue her. And taking to the sky would be far too risky, not while she was so close to the Palace. So she stood her ground, trying to look all macho and grown-up like. Ellie ended up shrinking back in sheer terror when the man came too close for her personal comfort. But when he spoke, his voice was kind and his words were caring. She only nodded in response to his question, unable to find the courage to actually speak.
When he told her his name and pointed her toward a public bench, she nodded stiffly again and followed him toward it, though the whole time she was shouting mentally at herself to turn feathers and run. But he was so nice; she hadn’t heard anyone speak to her so gently since her aunt… And Erol? God no, he was a nasty son of a gun. Noel reluctantly took a seat on the bench, refusing to meet Benjamin’s eyes, though he’d removed his helmet. Instead she looked around. People were walking about, entering and exiting trashy-looking stores. They were driving vehicles that hovered ten feet off the ground. Hovered! She shivered. This wasn’t real; none of it was. Ellie sighed, then noticed a couple other people. One was a young woman, whose head hung as she walked as if she were deep in thought. Another young man was looking around mysteriously, and occasionally even casting glances her way. She looked at her hands, which tightened and relaxed over and over again.

Benjamin took a seat by noel "So, you don't have to talk if you don't want. I just need to know where you live so i could get you safely home. This part of town is dangerous" A kind smile crossed Benjamin's face as he rose up "My hellcat is just around the corner, don't worry if your lost... We all find our-self lost at one time of our life or another" I should have a talk with this girl's father... A bullet in the behinds should convince him He played with that image for a while in his mind before fazing back to reality.

Raven was happy that no one had stopped her. She didn't know how she would've handled it. Raven was a generally happy person, but today she couldn't be.
Raven wiped her tears away and went to sit on a bench. This place frightened her, she wasn't used to how crowded and musty it was. She saw soldiers everywhere, something that was made her think of how bad this city must've been. Jace paid no attention to it anymore, but then again he had lived here for about for years.
Raven thought about Jace again. Ever since she had been staying with Julius and him, she could hear Jace get up in the middle of the night screaming. Jace knew something that he wouldn't tell her and it bothered her very much. At first Raven thought it was about his mother dying, but Jace had said he barely knew his mother. Jace's mother had died when he was only three months old, so that took care of that thought, she wasn't sure what could possibly scare Jace like that. To her, Jace was fearless.
Rae looked around the city again. She saw one Kg talking to what seemed like a small girl. This girl looked scared and out of place. Raven wondered if she had lived here long or not, she assumed not by the look on her face. This girl seemed to fear the officer that talked to her, though he didn't seem angry. Raven watched intrigued.

Where she lived? What was Ellie supposed to tell him? That she’d run away from her old life because of the death of her only loved one, and that she’d somehow gotten lost in a desert only to wake up in a prison cell (gasps for breath), then escaped that prison after Benjamin’s commander had—oh hell no. Never. Mm-mm.
So she just shook her head and summoned the fortitude to say, “I don’t have a home.” Her voice matched his; quiet, soft. Hell, it cracked the word ‘home’ in half. She hadn’t spoken much in quite a few days. Well, at least it was the truth. And then he told her not to be troubled by the thought of being lost, and she nearly huffed in irritation. Boy, was that an understatement. Oh, the irony!
And what was a hellcat? Sounded like some sort of creepy demonic kitty thing, she thought lamely. She looked up automatically when she felt a pair of eyes examining her, only to quickly look away again when she saw it was that seemingly gloomy girl looking her way. She felt pressured. She wanted to be up in the sky. She pulled her hood even further over her face, just to be sure her ears were covered. That was just one of the things that freaked Noel out here. Everyone had long, elven ears. Even Benjamin. (She found it hard not to stare.) Ellie folded her arms to stop her hands from trembling so ridiculously. This place was strange. She just wanted to go home. But there was no home.

No home?.... The thought resonated in Benjamin's mind... where could she sleep?, she'll definitely get mugged round' here. Damn, DB's organization is here, she'll end up dead in the streets if i don't do something now... or turn to crimes... Benjamin got up hesitantly "I... I... Just let me get my hellcat and we'll talk"
DB began scanning the area and all its variables, as a hobby at first. He mapped out all the people who remained at the scene, and all those who seem to interact with his target. His eyes first locked onto the Kg's helmet-less head, Benjamin, its been very long... You'll pay for getting me into prison... He began planning out the details in his mind as he noticed another figure which seemed to glance over at noel and Benjamin... Undercover KG?.. No, no way, too obvious.. Just another passerbye... He suppressed his paranoia
Benjamin disappeared for a second behind the corner before the sounds of an engine roaring into life filled the streets, the hellcat with Benjamin in it slowly came hovering over the ground toward Noel and come to a halt beside the bench "Hop in, in the end of the day you wont be sleeping in the street... I wont have that" He gestured toward the near, leather padded seat. The hellcat was a shining piece of modern technology, a relatively large red vehicle equipped with several weapons to keep the order in the city with a very powerful engine and high speed, all a KG could ask in his daily quest for justice.

Ellie could only nod her head and sit there as Benjamin disappeared around the corner. This is my chance! She was just getting up so that she could make a run for it when she heard a engine-y sound roar to life. Her face lost all color when looked and saw a huge death machine hovering toward her. What the hell is that! A hellcat?! Benjamin was operating it… she had to trust him…
She shoved her quaking hands into the pockets of her jacket and walked around the guns and spears and what not to get into the passenger seat. And as she did so, her eyes met those of that man. He was looking straight at her and Benjamin, and what she saw in his eyes was malevolence and cruelty. She sucked in a breath, unable to look away.

Benjamin; right hands began configuring some buttons and his left hand held the wheal "Just.. Shut off the weapons...." He mumbled "Ready to go, a triumphed smile crossed his face before noticing Noel was not paying much attention. Whose that?... Oh **** its DB, i can just aim the blaster and take him down His hand instinctively reached out to the weapon control until morality found its way through his skull The last thing she needs to see now is war... He took a final look at noel before the glass cover retracte onto them and locked and the hellcat launched upward into the air with great force than channeled that momentum onward as it traveled toward the all-so known neighborhoods of haven. "So, your too young for work... Do you have any money on you?... And are you interested in being adopted?. I know a lovely orphanage its where i was raised if you want"
DB watched Benjamin Hover away, his dark eyes following piercing the indshield with loathing as they did. Suddenly he found what he was looking for, a rather wealthy woman carrying a big bag of groceries Potatos!, finally someone with potatos... We gonna have chips tonight He bit his lower lip before he let out the immense charge of blue eco envelope his body, and his feet moving unbelievably fast on the crumbling asphalt, she didn't see him coming as the bag vanish out of the womans hands by the invisible bandit.
Settling in a dark ally DB searched his loot, than looked up to the sky "Don't worry Benny i know where you live, ill hunt ya down... But now... POTATOES"
