Just got back from watching How to Train Your Dragon and I must say, I completely loved it! The art style was amazing, the story was fantastic, the characters memorable, and the dragon wonderfully genius! Loved every second of the movie even the credits.
I will say this is a must see in theater, 3D or 2D. If my wallet wasn't so tight right now I would have gone back to see it again, and probably a third time. Still I will have to satisfy myself with buying the movie as soon as it hits shelves.
And just so you know, I completely want a Night Fury!

I have a friend who helped animate HTTYD. Super cool. Anyway, I really want to go see it too, but I just haven't had the time yet, so I will most likely see it this weekend. Glad to hear it's good.

I will say that the commercials on tv did show it off as a very silly movie but if you saw the preview in theaters and on the internet you could see that this was going to a very well done, exciting movie. *Sigh* I'm still having withdraws from watching the movie. I do advise you to go see it and you will definitely love the movie though and through.

I used to read the books way back in 6th grade. The commercials seem like they don't follow the original storyline but it does look cute( and involve dragons!). I will most likely wait for it to come out on DVD before I will go and pay to see it in the theater.

No they don't follow the original storyline from what I heard. Yet the one that they do have is very good and thoroughly enjoyable. Personally I say that you should go see this movie in theaters, even though it looks childish, there is a lot (and I mean a lot) of adult humor, clean though. But unlike children we truly know what is being talked about. Shoot I'm 21 and I know several other people even older then I that loved the movie! I'm not trying to demand that you see this movie in theater, that's your choice, I just believe its one of those that is even more enjoyable in theater!
