Ugh. First off, I would just like to apologize for my complete lack of activity on the forums. This is not because I've given up, it's because I have had so much school work recently, I just don't have the time to RP at all. This week alone I have four essays to write, two research papers to write, one book to read, and two massive packets from my gov class and my stats class, plus I work two jobs. I just don't have the time. Anyway, I figured I would post to let you all know I haven't died, and will hopefully be back up posting again soon!
Anyway on to the topic of this post: Repo Men. I saw the movie last night on opening night, and it is one of the most epic movies I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it or aren't planing on seeing it, you need to go and see it anyway.
One warning though, it is violent, bloody, and there is minimal nudity, though it's not over the top.
I think I loved it so much mainly because I love that kind of creepy scifi stuff with a healthy portion of blood thrown in. I went with a couple of friends, and the ending is most definitely unexpected, or at least it was for me. This is the bast movie I've seen since District 9, though I did see the Hurt Locker, too, and it was very good.
I just wanted to rave about how amazing it was, though I can't even really talk about it because I would end up giving away some of the big surprises in the movie and I don't want to do that. If you haven't seen it though, you need to, it's really fantastic.
One final disclaimer though, please do not complain about how Repo Men was a copy of Repo! the Genetic Opera on this thread. I don't want to hear about it, because this movie stands on its own, and has absolutely nothing to do with Repo!. Besides, I hate Paris Hilton, and I'm sick of people raving about her. So there.
Anyway, go see the movie, so we can all talk about the amazing gritty stuff that happens in this movie, and how overall amazing it is ^^
