Hello everyone, and welcome to my ridiculously over-due introduction post (I've been active approaching two years now). Anyway, in a nutshell, I've been participating in J&D Rping for about 4 years now, and I've come a long way from my pitiful one-to-two sentence posts, to my paragraphs-long 1000+ word posts. I obviously pay a lot of attention to detail, and I do my best to word my posts in ways to keep people reading (with the exception of the tl;dr types, lol).
Anyway, for those of you who haven't figured it out yet, I obviously have a very deep fascination for guns. I've been fascinated for..I'd say about three years now about how they work, the different kinds, how ammunition works, and so on. I also have a hobby of studying history, which is easily my favorite subject. I especially enjoy reading about military history, in particular 20th century era battlefields, such as WWI, WWII, the Winter War, and other things. I'm sure you can tell in my posts that I bring a lot of attention to the military side of the J&D universe.
I also have a sort of 'on-the-side' hobby of writing fanfiction. I'm not nearly as good at it as I am at Role-playing, but I enjoy writing anyway. It's a simple process, really. Whenever I have empty time (such as long car trips) I tend to just sit and think, and imagine. Ideas occur to me, and I entertain them. I consider the idea, and start daydreaming it, expanding the idea, and so on. Eventually, the idea drifts around my head so much, that I simply have to post it somewhere. I currently have one fic posted, and two chapters so far. Updates on that are going to be very irregular, as I only post when I feel motivated and inspired, which are things that come to me at random times.
Anyway, for those curious about any political views, I'll sum it up quickly:
I hate Obama
I hate McCain.
McCain is a Vietnam veteran who attempted to use his POW experience in his favor to gain the popular vote.
The media is kissing Obama's ass, and only biased Republican news networks or people like Glenn Beck actually think he can do anything wrong. I've seen people be called racists for saying they didn't like him because he's a Democrat (specifically for that reason, no racial remarks whatsoever).
As a result, I dislike both of them. I don't go either Republican or Democrat. Democrats disregard the US constitution and think that everyone in America will follow any law they will pass. Republicans love war and easier life for the rich but not for the poor. I believe in views that both sides argue for, but do not completely agree with either one of them. If you are interested to know my exact political views, then feel free to PM me.
Bah, I've turned this into a political debate thread. Nevermind that. Unless you want to hear me rant for 15 minutes (Hrefna can vouch for that) then you won't bring up the topic.
Anyway, you can count on me being around for a while, but my posts will mostly be confined to the Rp threads. Don't be fooled by this - I'm still a very sociable person, and feel free to talk to me or ask me for a PRP.
