Relationships:
Story about them/History: Leo grew up in a rich family as a only child. His father was a high Krimzon Guard official and brought in enough money for them to live in the high class end of Haven. His family enrolled him in the best school in town and he finished two years ahead of his class. Leo found himself craving more information, he wanted to know all he could. For days he would sit and read over the books in the Haven City Library studying every book, every page, acting like they would suddenly disappear.
After a time he had become engrossed in the study of artifacts. He wanted to be able to reach into the books and touch them. He wanted to be able to study them and collect them. So at nine-teen he set off on a transport to Spargus. This is where his dreams of an artifact hunter would be realized and crushed.
Leo was twenty-four when the incident that would cost his eyesight happened. He was working on a dig out by the volcano. He had discovered a strange pipeline that seemed to be made of precursor metal running through the sand. As he was digging, two hired hands trailing behind him they heard a noise. It was a growl and before anyone could react a swarm of metal heads was on top of them. Leo was rushed from behind, the grunt slamming him into the sand. He turned in the sand facing his opponent, his head bleeding and his shovel still firmly clenched in his hands. Leo acted first and slammed the metal head with the shovel only to cause the metal head to scratch at his face.
Leo’s eyes burned, his sight gone. He let out a terrified howl as he felt the metal head tearing at his chest and ripping away flesh and muscle. The pain was unbearable and the blood dripping off of his wounds stained the sand. Leo passed out, only to wake up to find himself in the care of one of the kings servants. He moved his hand to his face only to feel a blood stained cloth covering his eyes. He was blind.
Months later Leo decided to get his scars covered with tattoo’s making him feel less insecure about the injures. At that same time he decided to move back to Haven to forget the horrors and bring back the trophies of his expeditions. He arrived at what he thought was his home only to find that his parents had moved. His mother had been killed in a metal head raid and his father quit his job. Leo felt empty.
Leo searched out his father, discovering he now lived in the water slums. As Leo approached the door, his sack of possessions and his hand searching wildly for the handle he found it open. His father was gone, a note was left on the table, one Leo couldn’t read. He sat down, feeling abandoned and lonely and set his sack of artifacts down, tears in his unseeing eyes. He had lost everything.
