Just so you know, there are two types of RP boards on DE, Main RP and Private RP. If there is a thread in the Main RP boards that is open you can join that RP at any time without asking (assuming that it fits your character's time line). Threads in the Private RP boards, however, need to be worked out to where you have permission in order to enter the thread. To get permission you can simply PM one of the members that is involved in the thread that you want to enter.
