Monster’s Hymn

I can hear your heart
Piercing through the night
Like a bow and arrow
Piercing through my heart

Through the moonlight
I can see your heart
You can see my face
As I can see your grace

So beautiful through the moonlight
I can feel your breath
So sharp like a blade
Piercing through my heart

As the sun is coming up
I can see your lips
So sweet so terrifying
As you call yourself a monster
And I your angel

Hiding your heart with sorrow and grief
Locking it with me with despair
Your pure heart sings to the forest
To the ones who cry in darkness and light.
