He looked down and but up quickly, "Oh this! It was my Grandfather's." He pulled it out of its holster and spun on his finger a couple of times before holding it firmly.
"It's like my family's heirloom. My grandfather gave it to my dad. And he gave it to me just before he died"
He started spinning it fast then tossed it to the other hand in midspin and spun it on that hand. It whing platinmus shine danced in the light of the litle shop. A beautiful weapon it was. "But yea, you could say I'm pretty handy with it." He tossed it upwards, caught it, and shoved it back into its holster. "Its what I'm good at."
"I could show you what I got sometime. And hey, I might even show you how to use it. What do ya say?"

Neko looked at Kelinna.
" Thats okay. Im going to take some time to get to know the library, then start the real work. I hope we do have a shift together sometime." She smailed and walked off, wondering what Evey was doing at the moment.

"I say hell ya to that." Evey said with a slight nod her eyes burning with a inward excitement. "You will have to remind me sometime I walk past the shooting gallery from work almost every day." What time is it?Evey shifted her feet slightly and looked at the clock, and then to the outside where the rain was still falling heavily against the windows.Ugh...
" I think I'm gonna end up going out in this..." Evey looked at the umbrella Neko left her an unsatisfactory look on her face. The fact that she still needed to pick up some food from one of the little local markets was nagging at her. "It's my turn to cook... Hey you should stop by and grab a bite, my cooking isn't that bad." Evey smiled a bit as the thought hit her in mid sentence.

Rawling laughed a little,"I don't think the lady invited you my friend. So don't just butt in like that."
He turned back to Evey,"Sure I wouldn't mind a good home cooked meal. I'll come by. Better yet, how about I be your escort?"

Neko looked up at the clock in the library. It was time for her to leave
"Bye" She called out, not hearing an answer. She looked out and saw it was still pouring.
"Oh well. I wonder if Evey is still at the bookstore." Neko left, and went to the bookstore. With a tinklng noise from the bell she walked inside, seeing Evey talking to someone.
"Hey Evey, what's up?"

"Its a deal..." Evey said with a small smile. Her head whipped around as she heard the ring of the bells that lined the door. "NEKI, how glad I am to see you again, after you left me here... with knowlage..." Evey looked at the confusion of Neko's face and then it came to her."Oh, you haven't met Rawling... Rawling this is Neko, Neko this is Rawling. I invited him over to share in my amazing cooking."

He sent Neko his hand to greet her. "Hi, I'm Rawling," He said with a smile.
He never knew that on an ordinary rainy day, he would not one but two girls. This wasn't what he was used to. But he would enjoy their company for sure.

Neko smiled warmly.
"Tis my pleaseure to meet you." She saw Evey roll her eyes and turned her head, sticking out her tongue.
"Anyway Evey, what are you talking about, "amazing cooking". Every time I let you cook you manage to burn something. I mean, come on, I asked you to boil water for tea and you burned it.." Neko laughed as Evey scowled. She turned back to Rawling, a smile lightiing her face.
"Don't wory, I'll be helping with the cooking. I won't let her feed you any burned food. Besides, there are a few things she can make." Neko gave a little cough "Ramen" She turned to look at the shelves of books lining the wall. Sitting in a pile was a small greenish brown book. It was the one she had left earlier.
"I'm finally going to get this book with no interruptions." Neko picked up the book and walked to the counter, ringing a small bell, waiting.

After a couple of laughs and Neko walking away with the book. Rawling looked back at Evey with a cheery look on his face. "Oh, I'm sure its not all that bad. Can't be worse than when my dad decided to try and bake a cake. Haha! You didn't even know what it was when it came out! Haha!"
He was going to enjoy this day.

" Oh I know..." Evey said with a warm smile. " My dad tried to make chilli... and oh I think we all were sick for a week from that one. My brothers face was priceless when he ate the first bite." Evey twisted her face to meet dramatize her brothers face and started laughing.
"Neko was there, and I think that she would have to agree that my Ramen is much less... explosive then my dad's chili." Evey chuckled putting her hand over her mouth as she did. Good times.
