Alright. Well, most people know about the riddle "Which creature in the morning goes on four legs, at mid-day on two, and in the evening upon three, and the more legs it has, the weaker it be?", right? What mythological figure actually told the riddle? (bonus points if you also know who got this specific riddle correct) Hint: Statue with a missing nose I guess that I'll answer this one since I love Greek mythology. The answer is a Sphinx, and Oedipus was the one to answer correctly by saying "man".

You can have a male body and be a woman in heart and soul. The latter are what truly define you.

Alrighty then. Who am I? Bonus points if you can explain each line in the riddle. Hint: In my previous post I said something that hints at this one.[/ul]

the first two sounds lines sound like an echo, two others make me wonder. "to love a man" why a man... "i die alone, new flowers born..." this object does not exist in groups, it has something to do with flowers, its actions can be interpreted as love and sadness. Most likely not a living being.
(i have not the answer, i just wanted to share my thoughts)

you are supposed to give a hint of some sorts I can't do that. All hints that I can give fall in line with what I've already posted and if someone knows what I'm talking about then they wont need a hint and those who don't know will only get more confused if I gave a hint. Besides you never said anything about giving a "hint" in the OP. You just simply gave one.

Who am I?
[/ul]
Alright I think I know what it is. Its a Wife The first two lines deal with marriage and the wife repeating the vows, which are usually said softly, which for people like me that sit at the back of the congregation hear it from afar. The third line of course is the wife loving her husband then to cry and morn and die alone deal with the fact that apparently women live longer then us guys. The new flowers born part deals with the wife having children.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of that answer. But... No, that's not right. Alright, I did manage to think of a hint.
