Zrion didn't say anything at that point. There was nothing to gain from pushing a useless argument. He got out and followed the two up to the apartment. "Is there anything else you'd like to say or do before I leave?"

Lev concentrated his thoughts on healing thoughts and put his finger where Zrion's wound was. "Yeah stay still or else this could hurt alot." He slowly unleashed the eco conserving his energy to heal for as long as he could.

Zrion winced slightly. The burnt flesh and scabs were moving around rather painfully. New flesh grew, and the scabs were chipping off. Eventually, his wound was healed, although leaving a pretty big scar. "Yet another one for my large collection." Zrion said, looking down at it. "Thank you."

Lev was already on the floor leaning against the bed. His body ached. He had used pretty much all of his energy to heal Zrion. He probably didn't have enough energy to do much more for the rest of the day.

"I'll be leaving then. It was fun I guess, not counting the injury." Zrion turned around, and left the apartment. Later, as his black hellcat sped over the wasteland towards Haven, he was deep in thought. Had he really done the right thing?

Rev helped Lev get into the bed so he could lie down. He himself went and took up work on the project they were supposed to be doing for their job. Lev had almost finished it, but Rev wanted to make some changes and finish it for him. They were a team and he needed to do his part.

Zrion couldn't really help but to feel guilty. He really had done nothing less than abandon the army. As Haven turned from a dot on the horizon into the city it is, his feeling of dread intensified. Fires and smoke filled the city. Many places were destroyed all together in the aftermath of the metal head attack. On the other hand, it looked like the KG managed to drive them off. That was surprising considering they literally had their backs to the wall when Zrion left.
He looked around, and saw from the air that the wall was rapidly being repaired. Around 80% was intact now, and the rest was being repaired pretty quickly. He felt saddened by the massive amount of losses the KG had taken. In any case they certainly wouldn't be able to fend off another assault like that for quite some time.
