*Dukes of Hazzard/CSI:Las Vegas*
Chapter one
"Uncle Jessie, Uncle Jessie!!" Daisy screams at the top of her lungs as she franticly searches for her beloved uncle.
"Uncle Jessie there you are!"
"Daisy what is it sweetheart?"
"Your not going to believe what has happened Gil Grissom called he has personally asked me to join his team in Vegas."
Jessie feeling really sad all of a sudden because he knows that this would mean Daisy would leave Hazzard County for the big bad city of lights on the other side of the country, but he just smiles and says, " Thats great sweetheart. We sure would miss you darlin but this is a big thing you should go."
Daisy was to excited to worry about being missed she jumps up and kisses Jessie on the face." Thanks Uncle Jessie" Daisy just finished a year at the Atlanta Police Department this move to Vegas would mean a major pay raise and she could help support Uncle Jessie, Bo, and Luke. "I'm going to go and tell Bo and Luke." Bo and Luke her loving cousins were equally supportive of Daisy going to Nevada but were very sad. Life just wasn't going to be the same with out her. Enos was the saddest of all he loved Daisy with all his heart ever since there first meeting back in the 2nd grade. He was worried that she would go off and find someone new.
Chapter two
As Daisy puts the last of her bags in Dixie she turns to hug her family good bye and reflex's on the memories that they had together as she gets into her car and drives away.
After two days of driving she finally arrives in Las Vegas and an hour of driving around she gets to her apartment that her new teammate Catherine Willows has found for her. When she walks in she looks around in total be wilderness because she is not used to this kind of life style at all then she really starts to miss the shack that her, Bo, and Luke were raised in by there Uncle Jessie.
She starts to unpack her boxes when there is a knock on the door. She looks through the peep hole and there are 3 men and a woman standing there curiously she opens the door.
"Hi, can I help you." Daisy was very intrigued by one of them. She thought to herself "Oh wow he is very cute."
Nick Stokes (the cute guy) looks at Daisy and thinks to him wow she is really pretty. He regains his thoughts, “Oh we brought you this,” he hands her a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
“Oh wow these are so beautiful.”
Catherine can see the way the two new team members are looking at each other but the thing is inter lab relationships are against the rules as she remembers how Sara was fired after her relationship with Gil. “So Daisy how do you like your apartment?”
“Oh it is beautiful I love it thank you so much for helping me get it. It would have taken me so long to get one on my own.”
“Well I just want you to get to work as fast as you can after all you have been moved from graveyard to the swing shift. You will be working with me and Nick. This is Warrick by the way.”
“Oh sorry I’m not really that social able”
“It’s okay.” Daisy is very cautious about this guy she gets a vibe that he is not to be trusted. She can’t figure out why but she soon will know she fears.
Chapter 3
Daisy’s first day of work was very strenuous. Her first assignment was a gun shot victim outside of the MGM Grand. She was to work on this case along side the very cute CSI Nick Stokes. The victim was a 35 year old Asian male about 5’6 and 135 lbs. He was shot at point blank range in the third eye. There are no witnesses and the weapon was found in the victim’s hand. Suicide still has not been ruled out but Daisy has a feeling that the guy killed him self and so does Nick so they rule it as a suicide after all the evidence has been processed.
“Sorry your first case wasn’t that exciting.”
“Trust me it’s okay boring is what I’m looking for I got enough excitement living in Hazzard. What with Boss Hogg and Roscoe our sheriff always trying to arrest my family and us having to prove our innocence. The only time I ever remember getting arrested for a real reason was when I kicked Roscoe and stole his car and crashed it into a piano. Oh wow I can’t believe I just told you that.”
“Ha-ha no worries I did crazy thing to when I was younger though never anything like that but I figure he deserved it. Why were they after your family like that?”
“Ughhh… you really don’t want to know the law might not like it.”
“What did your family run moonshine or something?”
Daisy gave him a look that said it all.
“Are you serious?”
“We Dukes were the best until my cousins Bo and Luke got caught and Uncle Jessie promised the government that he would never make it again if Bo and Luke could be put on probation. They agreed and it nearly killed my Uncle Jessie but he eventually got over it.”
“He sounds like a remarkable man.”
“He is and I love him very much you see he raised us after our parent were all killed in a car crash when we were little.”
“Would you like to go to dinner now?”
“I would love to.”
They then go to the restaurant that is famous for there chili since both of them love it. After an hour of sitting and getting to know each other Nick took her home but not before giving her a goodbye kiss. “I can’t believe I just did that.” Nick told her in total shock that he did just kiss her. But Daisy’s only reply was to return his kiss.
After that they realized that there might be something there so everyday at work they were giving each other glances because both of them knew if the team found out about there romance Daisy would be fired and forced to go back to Hazzard.
One night while on one of there secret dates Warrick and his wife Tina came into the restaurant and saw them in a romantic moment. “Come on Tina lets go somewhere else to eat.” After seeing what he saw “No Warrick your not going to report them are you.”
