We have a new board. This board is named after the island that Jak goes to for training at the beginning of TPL, and it to be the training grounds for RPing on Dystopiatic Eco. All members are required to go through at least one RP on this board. If you prove to be good at RPing then you will be cleared by staff to RP on the other boards. Also post count is disabled for this RP board so that members will have a reason to build their skills and move into the full RP boards.

No, Geyser Rock is not an era. It's a training board for new members so that they can get used to J&D based RPing on DE. Members are required to go through the training before RPing in the PRPs or Main RPs, the quicker you learn and better your posts, the sooner you're released from training to get to the real RPs.

Yep.
Basically it will insure that all members know how the RP works and what is expected of them in the RP before actually getting into the RP. By going through training, members will get feedback and constructive criticisms as they RP so that their RP can improve.

Era's will be explained to those who are going through training, so there are no worries there. Also I know that RPing may be difficult for some people, that's why we have a training board.  |

If your going to do this training board then you need to make sure there is a way that new members are notified of this. I had no clue there was a training board and that I had o go through it first. I've already posted twice on a RP board.
So as I said before you need to figure out a way to make this notified to new members or else they may jump right into a session and mess things up.

You weren't notified because I canceled Geyser Rock about a week before you joined. I just forgot to make a post about it in the announcements board. I made the announcement in Geyser Rock and left it there for a few days before hiding the board. Sorry about the confusion, I completely forgot that I had made this thread, other wise I would have said something. |
