Best BBC shows on the face of the earth next to Monty Python. I love Jack Harkness! But My favorite TW character will alway be Owen. Anyhow, This thread is for the fans! ;D

Well, Robin Hood is a bit bland for me, and it gets old after the first season because Robin Hood barely qualifies as the novel. More of a short story actually. So you can run out of plot points pretty easily, which is what happened here.

Torchwood is a spin-off of Doctor Who. Same sort of aliens, but much more adult themes. Hell in the second episode they had an alien who craved orgasmic energy. The main characters are the members of Torchwood; Jack, Ianto, Tosh, Owen, and Gwen. If you look up 'Torchwood 01x01' on youtube you should get the first episode. It's really good, so I suggest watching it.

I luv Doctor Who, but haven't seen much of Torchwood though. Just the fact that Jack is on it maked me want to watch it so bad but then I missed the first eps...then the second, etc lol. Has anyone watched the Sarah Jane spin-off?

Doctor Who is an awesome series, though I watch it on the Sci-fi Channel. I really like the current Doctor, and will be really sad when he's replaced. As for his partners, Rose was pretty good, Martha was awesome, and Dona is ok.
As for Torchwood, like I said in the other thread I thought it was pretty good in it's first two seasons, but I just couldn't get back into it after the first few episodes of season three.

Well, even though it's comical, Torchwood probably isn't for you. The comedy in it is much darker than your tastes if you like slap-stick.

I loved the 9th Doctor a lot until the 10th Doc came lol. Rose I thought was funny and she was the first of his partners to have her family introduced to the viewers. Martha was ok I just didn't get her really, and Dona I'm finding very amusing lol.

I have to say I didn't fancy the 9th at all. He was too mean. The doctor is rude, but he's not aware of it. The 9th was fully aware of his meanness. The 10th is better because he's a little air-headed. I love Martha and Dona. They rock. X3

I've only seen Doctor Who a few times though I loved it everytime especially with the sarcastic that the doctor uses in dangerous and stressful situations. Unfortuantly, like I have said I have seen very little of it.
As for Torchwood, I have heard of the name but have yet to see the actual show. I'm not home enough to see it.
