Appearance: Ertimus is a tall 6'5". He wears a dark T-shirt, jeans, and a white trench coat. He wears combat boots made from fine leather. He has a medium build, more muscle than anything. He has straight, dark hair that goes just past his shoulders. His eyes are deep, rich blue mixed with lighter blue swirls. He has no scars or tattoos.
Personality: Ertimus has a fully calm, collected personality. It is difficult to make him angry, even during a fight. During his free time, he likes go out in the city to find something fun to do. During a fight, he stays back from his enemy, dodging attacks until going when he sees an opening. He makes friends with almost everyone he actually gets to know unless they threaten him or choose not to befriend him. His favorite pastime is racing, whether in or out of the arena, but racing is not his career. He judges enemies on past actions and whether or not he believes they are willing to leave evil behind for the better of the world.
Posture: When not fighting, he walks at a medium pace, and runs with only one hand holding his staff behind his back. When running during a fight, He holds his staff behind his back with both his hands, so as to easily swing it for and attack. When standing, he leans on his staff, and sits with it between his legs, so he can still lean forward on it.
Occupation: Ertimus owns and runs his own accessory store in the port. It can be found just before the entry in the middle. The store's name is The Precursor Palace. He sells a multitude of objects, including weapons, clothes, minor precursian decorations, and a large selection of battle staffs. He sells guns in the back of the shop, so the KG don't see them out in the open and try to arrest him. Every once in a while, even though he doesn't make a career out of it, he will join in a race either at the arena or just around the city. Sometimes, for risks and thrills, he will hold a race himself outside the city, usually at the pumping station or in Haven Forest.
Skills/Abilities: Ertimus is skilled in the art of Bojutsu, or bo-staff fighting. He was trained outside Haven City in a temple run by forgotten monks and martial arts users, far from any kind of civilization. The temple was proclaimed to be in league with the precursors themselves. He was trained for ten years and, after being challenged by the Temple Master and defeating the him, Ertimus was proclaimed the best, given full privelages of the temple, and was named the Master's war advisor, said to be the greatest honor in the entire temple. It was explained that a war adviser and council was needed for circumstances such as Metal Head attacks or being discovered by outside threats. Ertimus is skillful at cooking, and can cure any meat, and make any plant harmless so as to be eaten. He does this with a mixture of tactics, using green eco and simple boiling and drying out processes. Ertimus also has a very effective skill with mechanics, and built his own custom zoomer.
Powers: Ertimus has control over all eco types. He gained this control from the Precursors themselves. When he gained this power, he was also granted eternal youth. This made it where he never aged, but he can still be killed in battle.
Weapons: Ertimus' only weapons and only item of true possession is a staff said to be crafted by the first of the Precursors. The weapon is called the Staff of Serenity. It can be charged by one of two things; a specific eco crystal from a set of six, or by the focused eco from a trained eco user. Ertimus is able to use his own eco to charge it. The staff, composed of three parts, is missing the middle part and is now held together by a perfect replica of the orginal. Ertimus searches for the lost piece almost constantly, even while doing other activities. When the entire staff is completed and charged with eco, it can be slammed into the ground to create shockwaves of various effects, depending on the eco used.
Relationships: Ertimus has many friends around Haven and outside Haven. He considers only the Metal Heads as his enemy, for if they hadn't shown up, the world would probably be different. But even though he considers this, he will still fight others who threaten him or others he is connected to. He has no romantic relationships, and likes to keep it that way. Though he has many friends, and keeps making more, he doesn't let anyone in on his more inner life; who he really is, where he came from, and what he can do with the staff he always carries. He still waits for the right people to tell these secrets to.

When the Precursors created him, they gave him the sole purpose of keeping the ecos in balance, just in case they were forced into hiding and couldn't do it themselves. To help him with this, they gave him control over all eco types, including dark eco. Unfortunately, when they did this, it caused eco to effect Ertimus. At a time when dark eco started to take over a little, before the Dark Eco Silos were made, it caused Ertimus to turn just a little bit evil. He noticed this and, before the change took full control, asked the Precursors to banish him until the world could even itself back out again. The precursors but him to sleep in a capsule which they then hid deep in the ocean. As he slept, his staff broke in three and the middle piece floated back to the surface. While he was asleep, the expansion of Dark Eco created many of the dark creatures found today, including the lurkers and Metal Heads. After hundreds of years in this sleep, when Jak's pure light balanced the dark eco, Ertimus woke and returned to the surface to find it balanced once again. He traveled the world for years afterwards, discovering the absence of the precursors and the many changes in human culture. He discovered the temple exactly six years after waking up, and learned many of the skills he possesses from there. After being made war advisor, he was given a communicator, which they would contact him through if he was ever needed, and was told he could travel once again. He found Haven city three years after that, just as it was just being finished. He snuck in before the final wall piece was placed, and got a temporary job at the ports, working for Krew inself. He saved his money and bought his store at the port after two years of working as a collector. He started by finding artifacts outside the city and selling them. Once that got his store going, he began ordering or making other things to sell, getting the store to where it is today. He can often be found meditating in Haven Forest or the confines of his own home. He has decided against telling others who he is and what he really does until he is completely sure he has found someone he can trust with the secret and can help him with his goals.
