The sun was beating down over a lonesome garage in a somewhat larger then small settlement. A man was sitting outside the garage with a screw driver, a device in hand, and a box next to his chair. He was the known around the settlement and its only mechanic. He looked young, maybe 20 or so, but also had an envelope on his leg. The envelope read "Rigger" on it, so he knew who exactly sent it, mainly because he knew his brother's handwriting all too well.
Rigger had more important things at hand right now, for the box sitting next to his seat was filled with explosives. These IEDs were modified to have a small blast radius of 5 to 10 feet, mainly for mining purposes only. The occasional mercenary or travel wasteland caravan would pay nicely for his more... prominent... explosives. As for now, he was waiting for the person who ordered these explosives. Of course, he assumed that it was someone other than a mine rep, sounded more official, or not. He didn't figure it out, but they said that they'd pay nicely for some mining rigged IEDs of his. That box to be exact.
Rigger sighed as he looked at the envelope, it has been so long since he last saw his brother, which was at 13. He didn't know what he was going to do then, he lost his idol, the one person he looked up to in the wasteland, but he left all those years ago. Rigger put the device down and ripped the top of the envelope open.
"Oh Tonus. Why must you have left." Rigger mumbled to himself as he began to read.
Dear, Jaycun
By the time you read this, I'll probably be in some deep shit. I met this man, I think his name was Pyrius or something, but he said that he needed my help with something important, something that has to do with the Krimzion Guard. I know what I wrote to you in the past about these guys, but something's up considering I had to save his ass from a squad of them with those soliders knowing who was helping him. This might be the last you'll hear of me until I get this job done, I can't risk mom, dad, and you getting in trouble with them, so, I sent a gift home. Now, I don't know if you've already opened it, but they're meant for you all. Each of them. I should wrap this up soon. Pyrius is coming by and he's going to see if I can go with him on his job, I'll let you know if I get paid, I'll be sending some of it to you all. I love you.
With the utmost regards,
Tonus
