Character Profile Chart:This chart is to be used for all character profiles on Dystopiatic Eco. Slight deviations are permitted as long as they do not stray too far from the original chart and do not split categories. We're looking for detailed and well though out characters, so please use complete sentences and in the larger sections use a couple of paragraphs, profiles that simply create list in each category will not be approved. Also if you use images they must be hyperlinks in text that is apart of the profile (ie an image of a hair style links the text "hair" to the the image).

Profile Title:The thread's title must have the name of the character. This will make it easier for others to find the character's profile when searching for it later on. Please indicate in the title whether or not you're finished working on the character. Keeping this up-to-date will help the staff to know whether or not to look at the profile for acceptance value. If you do not indicate that you are done wither the character, the character may not be moved to the accepted board. If you'd like to use the character in a Role-play it is up to you to let the staff know that you are done working on the character. When indicating competion or work-in-progress, please use the following tags at the beginning of the title (ie in front of the character's name). Please indicate the type of character. That is whether the character is human, a Metalhead, an Otssel, etc. To indicate this please use one of the following tags at the end of the title (ie after the character's name). [/u][/ul]

On Dystopiatic Eco the Role-playing boards are separated by time rather then location since the Jak & Daxter series takes place over a vast period of time. This is adventurous in several ways. First off it allows a member to continue to Role-play with a character even after that character has died. This is done because the character though dead remains alive in past RPs, so a member is able to use a dead character in RPs that take place in eras before their character's demises. This set up also allows members to hold a single thread for the duration of an entire story line, rather then forcing them to jump from board to board every time they change locations. This helps to keep everything clean and organized as well as convenient for the membership.
The reason that it is important for the an era to be listed in the character's profile is because it defines the character's age at different periods of time and it defines the eras that the character will be permitted to be Role-played in.
The Eras: Birth of a Legacy: Birth of a Legacy takes place hundreds of years before the first game. This time period is at the pinnacle of the Precursors' power, durring the golden years of their reign over the world and during the time of mid-evil/barbaric human culture.
The Chronicles of Mar: The Chronicles of Mar is set during and after the first game, The Precursor Legacy. The golden reign of the Precursors has long since pasted away, leaving the fate of the planet in the hands of the human race and one brave warrior know as Mar to protect ot from the evils that are the Lurkers and a new, stronger enemy, know as the Metalheads.
Baron's Corruption: Baron's Corruption takes place during Jak 2, aproxamitally five hundred years after The Chronicles of Mar began. The evil Baron Praxos rules over Haven City with an iron fist. Using fear and intimidation to force his will upon the people of Haven City, the Baron works to destroy the Underground, the only resistance to his authority. Haven begins to crumble as a three sided war rages amongst the Krimson Guard, the Underground, and the Metalheads.
The Fall of Haven: The Fall of Haven tanks place during Jak 3, four years after the beginning of Baron's Corruption. Haven City experiences a short period of prosperity after the fall of Baron Praxis. However corruption lies in the new found republic that rules Haven. Sabotage of the Senet headquarters forces Jak into exiled to the Waistlands. In his absence Haven falls to ruin as the Metalheads overrun the city, aided by two new foes, the KG Bots and the terror of the universe, the Darkmakers. Sworn enemy of the Precursors, the Darkmakes seek nothing other then the total destruction of the Precursors and their creations, and Earth is their next target.
World Without End: World Without End is set during Jak X, two years after the beginning of The Fall of Haven and continues on to the end of time. The world and especially Haven City begin the slow process of rebuilding and reconstructing what was lost in the mass attack of the Darkmakers. Though mostly a peaceful time there are small factions of Metalheads and Darkmakers that remain as a constant threat to progress and life itself. Peace never lasts forever. Destruction and chaos eventually consumes all...

Name: The character's name should be original and unique. Keep it interesting and fun with names that stand out.
Sex: Pretty self explanatory. Is your character Male or Female?
Age: The character's age changes from era to era. By defining a specific age you are giving your character's age at the beginning of the era that you have chosen for your character. In later eras your character will be older and in earlier eras your character will be younger. If you choose to list you character's ages at the start of each era that they are in you are free to do so, though you are not required to list any more then the one age of the era of your choosing.

Appearance: The appearance is a very detailed and improtant part of the character's profile. It should contain, in the very least, detailed descriptions of the character's; height, body type, hair color&style, eye color, scars/tattoos, and clothing.
Please keep in mind while writing out your character's appearance that all of these aspects of the character's appearance must be in paragraph form. A profiles that has the appearance simply listed out will not be approved for use in any Dystopiatic Role-plays.
Personality: The character's personality is a key component to the character's profile. It defines how the character will act and react is different situations and circumstances that will come up in the Role-play.
Please keep in mind your own limitations. If there is a type of personality that you are incapable of Role-playing properly please do not use that personality for your characters. Also please remember what your character's personality is while Role-playing. Far too often do we come across times when a character's personality abruptly and unexplainable changes mid Role-play simply because the Role-player forgot.
When creating the character's personality keep in mind other aspects of the character, such as; history, eco powers, occupation, relationships, ect. All of these things must work together if you are to have a well written character. It doesn't make too much sense to have a character with a kind and caring personality that uses dark eco and is an assassin, the personality conflicts with the other two.

Posture: The character's is simply how the character holds them self while walking.standing/sitting. It is a direct, physical representation of the character's personality. If a character is quiet and reserved then they are not likely to hold their head high. If a character is outspoken and confident then they are more likely to walk with a bit of a strut with their head held high. The easiest way to create a proper posture for your characters to find the best way to physically display your character's personality.
Occupation: Character's need an occupation to earn money, else wise how will your character pay for a place to call home, food, and water? Occupations aren't difficult to come by. You simply need to find something that would make your character happy. Something that matches your character's personality and your character's abilities.

Abilities/Skills:Your character's abilities and skills range from fighting abilities to everyday skills that he/she uses in their job/everyday living. Keep in mind while describing your character's abilities that their abilities should match the character's personality and appearance. Characters that are vindictive and destructive with a muscular body build wouldn't be very likely to have the skills to sew and knit, while a character that is kind and caring with a moderately muscular body would be more likely to have the skills to sew and knit. Powers:Character's powers refers to Eco Powers. These are the character's abilities to channel and use different ecos at different power levels. Characters are permitted to have one of the four elemental ecos at a basic level to start with. From there the character may learn to use more ecos and at higher levels. The four elemental ecos are Green, Red, Blue, and Yellow. Dark, Light, and White are more advance ecos and must be earned. To earn new ecos and higher eco levels you may purchase them from the Eco Shop in the Market. When choosing which ecos that your character will use keep in mind your character's personality and body build. Characters that are clam and relaxed with a muscular body would have a difficult time using blue eco and dark eco since the effects of those ecos are opposite to that of the character's personality and body build. Also please indicate what power level you character is at with each eco that your character has. There are a total of five power levels; Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Apprentice, and Master/Sage.

Weapons:Not all characters have weapons, so don't think that you have to have them. If your character is the fighting type that doesn't like hand to hand combat then a weapon would be advantageous, however if your character is better at hand to hand combat or doesn't like to fight then a weapon might just get in their way. It all come down to what kind of a person your character is. To begin with your character is only permitted to have one weapon for free. After that first weapon they must purchased from the Market. There is no limit to the number of weapons that your character can possess. As long as you keep earning orbs to spend on weapons you are free to spend them on any of your characters for any weapon that you wish. There is however a limitation as to which weapons that your character can have, and that is defined by the character them self. For example, if your character has a small body build and is quick on their feet it wouldn't make any sense for that character to walk around with a clamor strapped to their back. So, as long as you stick to the body build and personality that you gave your character you can't go wrong. Also, though there is no limitation to the number of weapons that your character can have please don't go overboard with the number of weapons that your character caries on them at one time. If your character is caring six swords and four gun on them it becomes ridiculous. If you have purchased six swords for one character have them carry only two or three at a time, leaving the extra at home or in hidden locations for emergencies or situations that call for a different type of blade.

Relationships: Your character's relationships are not just limited to lovers. Relationships include Friends, Foes, Allies, Family, and Loves. These are individuals that have a current impact on your character and what he/she does.
History: The character's history is a huge part of the character's profile. It provides a background to the character, giving context to their personality, appearance, occupations, posture, ect. The character's history is what defines every aspect of the who and what the character is today. This particular section of the character's profile should be the longest and most detailed part of the character's profile and should extend to at least two paragraphs in length. It is also helpful if you keep your character's history up to date, adding huge events from the Role-play that have significant impact on the character.
