This post begins the RP of Xarlet's hunt for the Creature. Xarlet has been looking for the Creature for many years, and is closing in on it. What happens when he catches it is up to others' influences.
The forest. At a single glance, one might see it as a quiet safe haven for those in need of shelter. But the shelter of the forest is much more dangerous than being out in the open. Xarlet knows this. He also knows that being in the open will make a small creature like him much more vulnerable, more open to predators from above. At the moment, Xarlet sits on a branch high above the forest floor, eyes fixed on a snare trap he skillfully set up. He had his cross bow in his hands, loaded and ready at a moments notice. He wandered how long he would have too wait for his dinner tonight. He hadn't eaten since yesterday, and was starting to feel hungry. Constantly alert, his ears swiveled around, trying to pick up sound. *SNAP* There! Something was coming. He tensed waiting for whatever it was to come into the opening. He slightly raised his cross bow, waiting.
