Appearance-
BC-Monica is about five feet tall and has a slim, immature figure. Her often dirty brown hair ranges from ear to shoulder length and the cut is ragged as Monica insists on cutting her hair herself. Her face, arms and neck are sun burnt or tanned from the unprotected exposure to the sun. All exposed areas are either lightly blistered or has a spattering of freckles. The clothes she wears are sturdy and well made but not always fashionable. The hems on both her jeans and shirt are torn from Monica's activity, but for the most part, they are clean and whole.
FoH- Monica has experienced a steady growth spurt and now stands at five feet five inches tall. Her tastes have become more eccentric as opposed to her practical choices previously displayed. As some habits are hard to kick, Monica cut her own hair into a short pixie cut, and dyed it bubble gum pink. Her clothes are even more out of the ordinary, as she is drawn to long, flowing garments, or clothes that are in neon colors. From day to day, she could be in a earth colored pheasant skirt and blouse, or purple jeans and a scarlet t-shirt.
WWE- At a rebellious seventeen years old, Monica has to admit that she looks more like her mother with each passing day. Her dark, almost black hair reaches between her shoulders and waist. When Monica feels like dealing with it, her hair is either a solid sheet down her back, in a side ponytail so it lays in front of her shoulder, or in a messy bun on top of her head. Monica has traded her sturdy tennis shoes for high heels, her pheasant skirts for tight jeans and short skirts, and her neon tops for ones that draw attention to herself. Monica also wears tons of makeup: her childhood freckles are covered, her dark blue eyes caked with eye shadow and black eyeliner, her pale pink lips made scarlet with lipstick, or purple if she is overtaken by her not totally dissolved quirkiness.
Posture- Monica walks with a youthful, open gait. Her motions and stance are honest and naive.
Personality-
BC- Despite unfortunate events that have happened to Monica, she still has a pleasant out look on life. She is spunky and light-hearted and has a naive outlook regarding her future. She is not ill-behaved but she is frank, mischievous and could offend as easily as entertain. During daylight hours, Monica is bright, bubbly and wholesome, but when the sun sets and the city becomes dark, Monica becomes immobilized with fear. The dark arises a terror in Monica that is unbearable. Every shift of light or motion, and every loud or unrecognizable sound sends Monica into heart throbbing, choking sobs. Almost nothing frightens Monica like the dark, but when she is afraid there is almost no consoling her.
FoH- In a stable, safe environment, Monica is now exploring who she is as a person, instead of concentrating on basic needs. She is no less bright or interactive, but she is more withdrawn, observant, and philosophical regarding the people and events that surround her. She has also been broke of the consuming terror she feels when afraid, by meeting her fears head on and eliminating them.
WWE- Entering her invincible teenage years, Monica is conflicting with the little girl she used to be and the adult she is to become. Influenced by friends, Zrion, Zephan, and what she wants to do with herself, Monica develops a rebellious, independent, questioning attitude toward everything. Sometimes she will say or do something just to cause a reaction, and will argue for the sake of arguing. Inside, Monica knows this is the wrong approach, but is treating this time as an experiment, of who she truly is without the horror, and other damage her prior life has caused her.
Occupation- Being a teenager, Monica doesn't put too much thought into what she will do professionally. However, being under Zephan's tutelage has opened her eyes to the importance of healers, and her passion for helping others is driving her to consider being professional healer.
Abilities/skills- She has few skills that she believes are worthy enough to develop. The only physical attribute that is useful is the ability to run, and she is naturally good at it.
During her youth, Monica lacked any dishonest traits, her ability to lie being her worse. She didn't used to think lying was something suitable for a person to do, but as she grew older, she learned the practice of 'white lying' and quickly discovered lies could flow easily. She still gets nervous about telling them, and could get caught if the lie was too big.
Powers- Monica has basic green Eco, but rarely has opportunity to practice or use it. The knowledge that she even possesses Eco is in the back of her mind, not something she thinks about.
Weapons- Monica doesn't carry a weapon for the simple reason that she doesn't get into fights. If a physical altercation should occur she would simply run away from the violence.
Relationships- Monica has no relationships in Haven City but she wishes to change that for her protection and to get rid of the loneliness she feels.
History- Monica was born to Marcus and Veronica Lorenzo in a town outside of Haven City. She had a typically normal childhood: She played with children that lived near by, she played small tricks, and she was mischievous, but she always felt the love of her parents and she was content with her life.
Then, when she was ten years old, her town was invaded by Metal Heads and set aflame. Planning to hide in the forest, Marcus, Veronica and Monica deserted their house but were followed by Metal Heads. Knowing they wouldn't all escape together, Marcus and Veronica sent Monica ahead to hide. With the town on fire behind her, Monica found a place she assumed was a safe distance away and hid until the next day.
Seeing that there was no life left in the town, she decided she must travel to Haven City to at least find help. Upon arrival, with no money, shelter, work or someone she could rely on, Monica was forced to make her own way and became a beggar. Until she completely warms up and trusts an adult, she will be living on the streets.
