Welcome to DE! It's always nice to see some new faces around here, especially since things have been slow lately. However, you understand that we have to have standards, therefore you must be evaluated before you can actively participate in the community.

Your testing will begin tomorrow at dawn. Report to the bus stop located 2.9 kilometers north-northwest of your place of residency. Our associates will be waiting. You will be checked for weapons and blindfolded, but not restrained, for transit. Expect a journey of approximately one hour. There will be no stops along the way. Upon arrival at your destination, you are not to remove your blindfold until told to do so. Our associates will escort you into the building, down an elevator, and into the lobby. The secretary will be expecting you, and answers to Caroline. She will have documents for you to sign. Once that is taken care of, feel free to have a seat in the lobby, but DO NOT use a folding chair unless told otherwise. You can start the test when you are ready, or when your allocated relaxation time (twenty minutes) is over. Caroline will then escort you down a hallway and to a security checkpoint, through which you will pass alone. There will be a man waiting for you on the other side. He will issue you a rifle and ammunition. Follow the path indicated by a red line painted on the floor. Do not deviate from this path under any circumstances. You'll know when the test starts.

Now what else...Ah yes, tips. You can feel free to PM anyone with any questions you have, goodness knows I'm on often enough. To get started, browsing through the help desk and the character creation guide should get you on the right track. Looking through Rp threads and existing characters might give you some ideas and inspiration. Once you have a character profile completed and approved, you might want to ask someone for a Private Role-Play (Prp) so you can get a feel for it. Do not trust any members with 'mvp' in front of their names. They are bad people and we urge you to ignore their advice. And most importantly of all, ALWAYS have a couple of Paradoxes committed to memory. The staff members have been known to become dangerous and hostile without warning. Telling staff members a Paradox will confuse and distract them, giving you time to flee. Good luck.
