Welp, Its bound to happen.
There's a neat little show on Cartoon Network called Adventure Time...its made for kids but has a few adult jokes and a storyline that adults/older kids might be able to follow.
What Kids see: A boy and his dog(who has unlimited power, just to lazy to use it) from the land of Ooo going on adventures and saving princesses who are mostly kidnapped by the evil Ice King.
What Adults see: A boy and his Dog(voiced by John DiMaggio) who are from the land of Ooo, which is a post apocalyptic earth and all its beings are survivors/offspring from the "Great Mushroom War". Which if you play attention to the background they have dead hands/people/parts, nuclear warheads, police cars...everything from our current time as garbage laying around.
The Land of Ooo is complied by Candy people and Magic(I guess thats what happens when we have a Nuclear War?) There are very few humans..like maybe 3....rest are mutated things and...well candy.... people.... and vampires.
Its a funny show, I really enjoy it...at first you think its just non-sense...but then you see this its dark not so happy backstory.... and you think to yourself..."FOR KIDS?!"
