I have come to see that there are a lot of assasins and bounty hunter characters here on dysto, and an idea came to mind that perhaps we should have a wanted board.
To post a bounty post on this thread somehting along the lines of
Wanted: (Name)
Condition: (Dead/Alive)
Details: (armed?, dangerous?)
Common whereabouts: (?)
Specific demands: (?)
Pay: (How many orbs)
Now this can spice up a lot of RPs and give a reason for characters to interact that normally would not even meet.
A member can place bounty on his own character, this offers a chance for anyone who would like his character killed to have a spontaniouse and mind stimulating duel with whatever member decides to collect the bounty. - This means no more lousy over-planned kill-offs for people who want the extra character slot.
The bounty of course is not imaginary, if the kill is made the amount of orbs will be transfered from the bounty placer to the assasinating member by a staff member the same way one would pay for an avatar creation by another member.
If the pay is too low, no-one will take it. If the pay is high, it is a loss for the hiring member but it will make even several members go after the target. (Interesting I belive)
Now, if the target is to be brought alive there's no problem with the rules. But remember kids, a character will not die if the member owning it doesn't want it to, yet it provides an interesting twist in RPs.
