[[ Excuse any grammatical screw-ups 8C This Bio is kindof all over the place lol ]]
Era:
The Baron’s Corruption/Fall of Haven
Name:
Mair
Sex:
Female
Age:
Appears early teens, but is actually 23 / ages to 26 in Fall
Appearance:
When Mair tells anyone she is a Precursor Monk, most react with sarcasm and dismay. Mair looks nothing like a Precursor Monk; in fact, she probably looks the farthest thing from a worshiper of the Precursors. Standing at around 5’0’’, Mair looks like a child, however one could easily see maturity in her always frowning face, and un-amused eyes. Mair is accustomed to people always addressing her as if she was a six year old, and treats most encounters with hatred and sarcasm. She has blank, dark eyes and a singular Monk tattoo on her right eye. Her hair is saturated red, and she keeps it messy and always flipped to one side of her face. She has several large scars on her arms and legs, however, they’re usually covered by her clothes, and never reveals them unless it’s absolutely necessary. Her clothes are light-fitting and always dark-colored, and while her wardrobe will change by seasons, she can always be seen with a Precursor stone necklace, which she tries to cover up most of the time.
Posture:
Mair’s stance is always proud and bold; she never shrinks away from her power, even if her disadvantages of appearance hinder it. She never likes to be outside too long, but when she is, she carries herself with determination and purpose. Mair never dawdles or wastes time when she needs to reach somewhere, causing many to view her to think of a bratty child.Which isn’t far from the truth However, when she does wander out into the world, she will always be a little aloof, and simply wander from place to place. Wandering doesn’t exactly fit into her schedule, so when she does wander, it’s simply out of boredom.
Personality:
Mair does not act her age, not in the slightest. As a person who has constantly been treated by a child, no matter what she says, it leads her to act like a immature child, happily throwing away the responsibilities of an adult, but being able to [mostly] enjoy the benefits of being over 20. She’ll run around with children playing tag, then go on a metal-head killing spree, then come back to throw insults at her comrades. Mair’s personality is very black and white, and for the most part, she is borderline bi-polar. However she does have mature feelings, and mature thoughts. She speaks about how absolute she is about falling in love with someone, but she desperately wants to be love. There is a whole array of things Mair will say, and on the inside she will regret it deeply, because it’s what she wants. But before she even begins to talk about it to anyone, or think about it deeply, she’ll make a snarky comment and go do something immature, like, attack some Krimzon Guards.
Don’t expectmuch any moral support from Mair, because she has none.
Side note- Mair is a Precursor Monk, and this aspect of her few will ever fully see beyond the tattoo on her eye, causing it to be doubted and called fake. However, Mair is very much a protector of Precursor Secrets; in fact, her number one priority in coming to Haven City was to smuggle Precursor artifacts back to the Monks in the Wastelands. She works for Artifacts, and rarely nothing else. Mair worships the Precursors, and has come to deal with the people who disbelieve her with a foot to the crotch, or punch to the face. Very mature.
Occupation:
Mair does all sorts of odd-jobs, but her main goal is to smuggle Artifacts out of Haven City and ship them to the Precursor Monks in the Wastelands. She allies herself with all sorts of shady criminals, and doesn’t care if they’re warring with each other, the baron, or metal-heads. She’d probably do work for the Baron and KG if the price was right.
Abilities/Skills:
Mair has no ability in Eco as of yet. While a Precursor Monk, her ability to even identify Eco is below average. But her pure strength makes up for her lack of Eco-Smarts, Mair is incredibly fit, and can pull off amazing acrobatic feats like no big deal. She could practically evade anyone on foot, and capably fight in whatever situation she’s in. This is natural, as well as picked up in her odd-job life, and smuggling items out of the city.
Mair can read Precursor technology efficiently, and her mechanic skills aren’t too shabby either. However, other than the things mentioned, Mair has no other skills. Making her kind of useless if the smuggling factor is taken out.
Powers:
Mair has no powers.
Weapons:
Mair relies heavily on guns, whatever they may be. She has several gun types due to the constant jobs she does, and some thievery. While she is more than capable to efficiently kill with a gun in hand, for the most part she chooses to run instead of fight, for several reasons. Mair has never killed anyone in her life, but that doesn’t mean she won’t beat someone to near-death.
Relationships:
Shady criminals and Precursor Monks, pretty much. She no doubt allies herself to the Monks, and wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize the Monks in any way possible. However, in the City, she has no problem running amuck with different factions without hesitation. She’s in it for the Artifacts, and doesn’t care if that means she’ll get shot at for people she’s vandalized or pissed off.
Story about them/History:
Baron’s Corruption / Mair was born in the Wastelands and grew up hard and fast, defeating her first metal-head at ten, and taking down a desert metal-head at 13. She was no doubt going to become a fine warrior of Spargus, however that changed when at the age of 15 she encountered a Dark Maker Satellite in the Desert. She was badly wounded and left for dead. When she was rescued, she was thought to be dead, but miraculously survived. She was depressed for some time, trying to find purpose in life, on the verge of being expelled from Spargus because of her injuries, which were found to be mostly permanent. Mair found the Precursor Monks and joined their ranks, quickly becoming a well-respected member, and moving from Spargus to the temple to escape her previous life. Although she never desired the full Precursor Monk get-up, Seem convinced her that her beliefs should be her life-custom, and so she got a singular Monk tattoo on her right eye. When she was 22 Seem along with Damas, needed her for a critical mission, to infiltrate Haven City, while Damas reasons were for strategic military information, Seems was strictly the gathering of artifacts and smuggling them back to the Wastelands. Mair has been smuggling Artifacts ever since, and reporting the bare minimum of information back to Damas.
Fall of Haven / Mair still does her smuggling job, but also has another agenda on her list; to find and destroy any Dark Maker that makes its way into the city. Artifacts sent back to the monks have dwindled to only a couple a month, while Mair’s missions to destroy metal-heads and Dark Makers have risen immensely. She kills them practically daily, and doesn’t regret a single thing of it.
