She gave a thin lipped frown. Valla didn't like him, at all, no matter what sources he had. His attitude struck her funny, and there was no way by all the precursors she was going to trust him. No, just wasn't happening. She just stood there for a moment and thought about it. How was she going to handle this? Valla couldn’t afford to have any of her information escape, but she couldn’t just kill a KG in her shop with others here. So it seemed that waiting was the only answer for the moment. If he turned out to be a turn tail later then she could take care of it.
At that moment a blue haired surprise popped into the shop. Valla smiled warmly as she looked at Audra. The girl was amazing with anything that had electricity in it. It seemed she had heard something about a zoomer shootout. Who was it? Someone from the underground that she knew? The name evaded her for a moment….oh!
“Who, Coppercurls?” She asked, using the person’s nickname. She thought that that was who she had heard about. A group had done a drive by on her zoomer and turned it into scrap. Audra was going to try to fix it? She took a moment to run to the back and grab her tablet and then come back. She needed it with her anyway for dates and such. Still. She pulled up a file of pictures she had that were sent to her of the smoking heap of metal. She was really going to try to fix that?
“There are a few crates in the back with scrap parts and odd ‘n ends. I know there’s some zoomer and jet board bit that came with my scrap shipment from last week. Should be useful.” She tapped the small piece of electronics and wrote a quick note to herself, also adding to remind herself to talk to Audra about making her one of these tablets. Once that was done she turned her attention back to Cardian and the newcomer.
Valla’s long thin fingers tapped in a few codes and things, checking her stores and supplies. She should have been able to fix it quickly other than missing one piece, and that would be pretty easy to get. Once she added that into the equation it spit out a time frame. Valla pressed something and it spat out a little ticket.
“ A little over a week until it’s done..” She replied to him carefully. She watched his cybernetic eye as it roamed around and flinched inside. Another new tech she was going to have to add, the tech of shielding. The other woman’s irritated voice caught her attention with a demand for service. That was not the way to talk to her. Really and truly, she hated stuck up people. She wanted this persons name to look her up in her files.
“Hello, I can help you. My names Vallacenia and I own Ironworks.” She stated, her mind clamped to stop it from spinning. Valla was getting agitated and the blue eco was swirling inside, responding to her emotions.
