She just listened, sensing the tensions in the room were escalating. A headache was forming at the base of her skull and she wanted to smack them both. Really, two grown men shouldn't be acting like this. Of course, she knew all about Jace from the lengthy profile she had collected on him, thanks to Shinrah. She sighed as she listened to them. Jace was just being Jace really. Of course she was just going to have to get pissed if they didn't calm down. No one caused damage to her shop and got away with it.
The blue energy in the air moved to a point whee she could see it, so a point where in her sight it was a haze of blue in the air. She wasn't going to have that. Valla tried to absorb what she could, but she didn't have enough control to really do much. She ignored her eco as often as she could manage, which didn't help. When Cardian started to freak out her daily allowance for patience was sapped up and disappeared. No one messed around in her shop. He went over to the wall and picked a battleax off the wall, one she had spent forever working on, and proceeded to throw it at Jace.
At that point she was pissed. Very very pissd. No one threw her weapons, in her shop, without her say-so. She harnessed the eco inside of her, sending a blue charge right towards it. The ax was diverted, lodging itself in a wall full of thin custom weapons behind a case of glass. The glass shattered, and so did a large amount of weapons in there that had cost her large amounts of time and money. Her eyes were a crazy charged blue as she looked at Cardian.
"I don't care what insult you were given, you should have discounted it. You've now destroyed thousands of orbs worth of my merchandise that will cost me highly to fix." She said in a liquid electricity kind of voice. The anger was evident in the way her outline buzzed with sparks flying from her bound hair and skin.

Jace was faster than just about any normal human. He was only a bit slower than those with blue eco, so he could follow everything that was happening. He knew he'd over stepped his boundaries, and yet...he didn't care. It was more or less a second job to Jace, irritating people until they snap. He was good at it too. Jace loved making people mad because he found it entertaining, which wasn't the best thing. So as Cardian's eco charged, Jace stood there and smirked. He could tell that it would end only in someone getting severely damaged...or killed. That someone wouldn't be Jace.
As the ax came hurling toward him, Jace focused on gathering himself to be fast enough to dodge the weapon. What he wasn't expecting, was Valla's interference. She just had to get involved! Jace's eyes flashed to the weapon changing course, now flying towards the glass case. The weapons clashed against the ground and he internally sighed, he'd have to pay Valla back for all of them...or else the guilt would add on to everything else.
Jace's eyes went from the ax, to Cardian, to Valla and back to the ax. What the hell had just happened? He shook his head and sighed as he saw Valla confront Cardian. He stood there with his arms crossed and his eyes narrowed. He looked at Cardian with his darkest, synical glare he could conjure up in that moment. Jace felt really bad for being a part of the damage. He knew Valla was pissed and for some reason it didn't have the same satisfaction as it should have had.
Jace made a quick decision and acted on it, "I'll be in the back...just so I don't anger any more oversensitive customers. Tell me if you need anything Valla." Then Jace turned on his heel and headed towards the back of the forge again. He needed to compose himself because when he was ready for a fight and didn't get one...he usually went on a killing spree or went to the bar and got drunk just to forget everything that happened.

Cardian stopped himself. He suddenly felt extremely embarrassed. It was the damn eco ''Hey, man i'm sorry'' Cardian called out to Jace. He turned to Valla ''i am sorry for the damage and i will repay you in full'' He bowed low and then standing straight he explained himself '' you see i have recently started using red Eco and it is doing something to me, anyway i believe that your particular password is Romani vartori'' it was the password his friend had given him after Cardian agreed to be an temporary informer. He hoped it was right he didn't want to kill today. He took a small piece of paper wrapped in velvet ribbon from his pocket. ''I was told to give this to you'' he hadn't read the message and he hoped it meant something to Valla.

Romani vartori he spoke. Her snses froze for a moment, her hands clutching a weapon under the counter. Her ind whirled into action. Jace was in the back, and that was good for the moment. She was quite sure he didn't know everything she was into, and she would prefer to keep it that way. Cardian had given her the keyword from yesterday, but she wasn't sure the new on had circulated completely soshe would accept it for the moment. She had to take a breth in to calm herself, trying to contain the eco raging around inside of her. And Cardian thought he had an exscuse. Valla would kill to have red eco instead of blue, to have strength instead of the irritating speed and thoughts and general pace. At the same time she felt blessed, for the eco was perfect for all the diferent things she did. The woman listened for a moment to the sounds of the quiet. It was getting lighter, the sun almost all the way up. How had time gone by so fast.
This man must have been one of the temporary informant thats Ryuke had hired. That was the only way he would have known, because she used Ryuke as a focus. So he had iformation. The paper he pulled out was tied with a deep red velvet ribbon, and she sighed. Red. Not the color she wanted to see. Any other color would have been welcome, except for the deep blood red. That color only told her information about one person.
She took the smooth paper in steady hands and slipped the ribbon off, eyeing the prexise writing s familiar to her. Not Ryukes, but someone else who she wasn't going to think about right now. It was about time she got some information though, even if she didn't want to read it. Valla took a step away, leaning against the counter behind her. This way she could keep and eye on Cardian and the weapon she had sitting there as she read. There were only a few words on the paper, mostly news about expieraments that couldn't be added to the files on her tablet for fear of exposure. But there was one line at the bottom that scared her the most.
She's on the move That was Ryukes handwriting, she was so sure of it. Valla's piercing blu eyes glanced at Cardian. He hadn't red it, because his eco signature wasn't on it. So the information was safe. " You do realize by giving this to me you are now involved in something much larger than yourself right? Something that means death or worse if the Baron knows?" She whispered to him. Even though it was a whisper her voice was strong as she looked directly at him.

Cardian knew that his friend KO-Tan had meant this message for Valla he was wondering what was on it, his mind started to race, his blue Eco was taking effect. His eyes where beginning to dart around, he was about to tell Valla a great truth. He threw up a soundproof White Eco shield around them ''Madam, if the Baron knew the circumstances of my recruitment to the KG it would mean death or worse as well''. He then told Valla his story, the assassination attempt and all. ''Now that you know me i need your solemn oath not tot reveal this information to anyone''. ''My contact who sent me to you is called KO-Tan, he said you would know him''

KO-Tan. It was a familiar name. She had to think about it for a moment before her spinning memory caught up with itself and the words made sense in her mind. She knew who he was. And she knew all about Cardian already even before he had said anything. Really, there wasn't much tech that had been yet made that she couldn't crack with that handy tablet of hers and a little bit of blue eco to grease the way. Blue eco worked wonders with machinery.
" I see. I am aware of some of this already." She replied to his lengthy statement. The white eco shield creeped her out a bit just because she liked only blue eco really. She could only deal with it for so long before she would freak out and all the calm she had managed to achieve to stay this way would evaporate like water in the sand. That would just be great. Yeah. So she took a deep breath in and tried to force awa the trapped feeling that she had always hated and had known for so long.
" I can understand your mission. There are a few other members of the KG that are informants for me, whose names I won't reveal until know for sure I can trust you and your sources. This is a risky game we all play, trying to bring the Baron and his foul demons to ground, and we are all at risk every moment we draw breath." And she meant it, not in the kiddie way where if you hold your breath you're safe. This whole thing was a danger to everyone.

Jace was sulking, as usual in the back of the forge. She just had to interfere! Bad things happened when Jace was amped up for a fight...and then didn't fight. Baaaad things. Jace was shaking with anger. That guy seriously got so oversensitive over a few innocent remarks. If he knew Jace, he wouldn't have reacted so strongly. Then another realization struck Jace...he shouldn't have reacted so strongly to Cardian talking to Valla the way he was. It wasn't as if she and Jace were together or even that close. But Jace knew why he did, it was a knee jerk reaction. Valla had seen his soft side, which meant that she knew he wasn't as cruel all the time, which also meant...they were close enough for him to get a little protective in case she decided to blab her mouth about his sensitive side. At least, that's what Jace wanted to think.[ As Jace stood there with his mind working frantically, mostly coming up with something to do to keep himself busy from killing someone, he stared at the sword he had brought in. The sword had cut and stabbed so many people, and Jace could see all of their faces, yet...it didn't bother him. He knew he was a murderer, he accepted it. It was his job. The KG were already on to him, heck a KG officer practically lived at his house, but didn't turn him in only to protect Jace's little sister's innocence.
It had been a while since Jace had joined DB's ranks, and still Raven was in the dark. Every night he'd come home from 'work' and he'd be covered in dirt and blood, but she never asked what happened. She always thought it was Jace getting into random fights with people that talked back to him, that's what she wanted to believe. Shane only knew because Benjamin, his mentor was looking for DB and had assigned Shane to come after me. Of course Jace knew Shane was just waiting in the wings for something to happen until he finally took Jace in. Jace wasn't afraid. Shane was a weakling trying to follow in his daddy's foot steps, but he wasn't going to catch Jace, Jace was going to catch him before anything.
Jace slowly migrated towards the sword and picked it up. He held it levelly in his hand and twirled it without so much as a scratch. He did a few complicated wrist movements and closed his eyes. This was one thing Jace could beat anyone at, fencing. He and his father, Julius, had always practiced. Julius was big into that sort of thing. 'One must know how to fight with a sword, it makes them more skilled than those who fight with guns...not to mention it looked cooler,' Julius always told Jace.
Jace took a ragged breath and gritted his teeth. He wouldn't show weakness. No emotions, nothing that anyone could take from him. It didn't work. A single tear slid down Jace's cheek and he gripped the sword tighter, "Why did you have to leave me father?" Jace whispered, thankful that no one was in the back with him to see his slip.

Cardianlowered the shield. ''Then set me a task Valla'' KO-Tan had told him it would boil down to a test of loyalty. '' i will help you with anything you wish and i do have a direct secure contact link with KO-Tan if you would like to speak with him plus, you have my gun'' He grinned a little, he wondered about the guy in the back, he was still wary of him. Cardian had met his type before, they usually liked revenge usually with blades. Of course Cardian would just take the gun under Vallas counter which his Prosthetic eye had automatically detected.

A blue haired figure walked the streets, her body blending in with the crowds of people. It was the morning rush and nobody even glanced a suspicious eye as the figure broke off and approached the gun shop. This was just what Audra had planned for, no attention and no distractions. Ironworks The sign read, it was simple, and Audra's eyes barely glanced at it as she opened the door. The door let out a small familiar chime as she stepped in.
The smell of the forge hit Audra right as she walked in. It was metallic and hot, the kind of place that if she wasn't a racer she would have worked at. Their was already somebody in the shop, standing proudly at the counter. He seemed familiar although people dressed in KG monkey suits always looked the same to her. Ignoring the KG and whatever he was talking to Valla about she walked up to the counter.
" Got any scrap in the back?" She asked bluntly. It was all a good cover up. She needed some gun parts as well as some metal to fix up her precious zoomer. And if your coming out with nothing but metal parts, nobody thinks to look any harder at them. " I got a zoomer that got into a good crash. Needs some body work." She explained further, just for the KG that was standing next to her.

Yelena walked along the street, her armor clinking lightly. She saw the small shop, ''Ironworks'' it's sign proclaimed to all and sundry. She walked to the door and pushing it open gently she walked in. She was surprised to see Cardian there talking with a woman who, since she was behind a desk was the owner. Another woman, blue haired this time was walking into the back, Yelena could also see a guy back there. She sauntered over to the desk and laid a small pouch of cash. She wanted lightweight armor for her assassinations and decided to see if this place did that sort of thing. ''Hey, can i get some service here'' she said mildly irritated by Cardian's lack of interest in her.
Cardian had looked over as the first girl came in then returned to his conversation with Valla. ''by the way what's the ETA on my gun getting repaired''. As Yelena walked in he didn't even look and was extremely annoyed when she demanded service.
