(Pyron is racing his way up to his own vehicle that he wishes to own and drive. He starts at the bottom of street racing and eventually makes his way to the top of the Racing League with the help of Yuttu and many other friends.)
The smell of gasoline and burning tires filled Pyron's nose as he entered the racing section of Haven. After the attack of the Dark Makers, Haven went under a large reconstruction period. There was now a large racing stadium, taking place of the Zoomer Stadium that was once there.
Pyron walked into the garage and looked over the magnificent cars that sat there, waiting to be raced with. He smiled to himself as he stopped at a car at the end of the line. It was a tall red car with white stripes going across the sides. In the front were three mini gun turrets glistening under the dimmed lights inside the garage. He thought,"One day...I'll ride you." He patted the side of it lightly and smiled at himself.
A voice said,"Hey! It's time to start racing Pyron." Pyron turned his head down to the voice and saw his small muse friend, Yuttu. He smiled and held out his arm for Yuttue to climb up, wrapping his tail lightly around his shoulder. Pyron said,"I was just admiring my potential ride-" Yuttu interupted,"As usual...I know. Ya gotta keep your head straight if you want it though!"

The metalic sound of metal on metal rattled through the air as various tools spilled across the floor. " By the precursors!!" A female voice shouted, the sound echoing through the mostly empty garage of race cars. A blue haired woman popped up from around a blue tinted Street Grinder her face in a furious scowl. Even in the dimly lit garage her face was oddly familiar, it was one that back in the days of the Barron would be posted all around the stadium.
It was Audra Negron. A very Unhappy Audra Negron.
" Why must you be so difficult for me? Why?" She asked the car as she bent down and started crawling around to pick up the splay of tools. " Is it cause you hit the wall? " She continued as she wedged herself underneath the car her arm feeling for the wrench that was hidden in the shadows. She gave a rough sigh, extending her arm and halting her conversation with the machine. What a start to a race day.

A rather unwelcome ray of sunlight shone down through the window of a somewhat ratty motel and directly into the face of a sleeping Kendra Vallius. Well... She had been sleeping that is, until a stiff breeze had apparently brushed the curtains aside. That's it... next time she would put up the coin for a joint that could at least afford to put glass in their windows. With a slight growl of discontent, she attempted to roll over and escape the offending brightness, only to find her path blocked by another body. The young woman's eyes snapped open to find a man lying in bed next to her, a ridiculous smile on his face. "It's about time you woke up... do you have any idea what time it is?" His tone was more joking than critical.
Oh yeah... that guy. With a roll of the eyes, Kendra turned away from the overtly cheerful man and sat up to find her clothes. "Get out."
This clearly took the poor fool by surprise, for it took him a moment to form his next words. "Get out? What do you mean? Did I do something wrong? Is everything ok?" He then reached forward to wrap his arms around Kendra, but stopped short as the blade of a butterfly knife came to rest gently on his throat.
Kendra's piercing blue eyes narrowed dangerously as she looked upon the moron with which she had spent the night. "I said get out." Her words came slowly, as if spoken to a child, and left nothing to the imagination. She would not hesitate to kill him if he refused to leave this very instant. It was as simple as that.
A few meaningless words escaped the man's lips, but at least they did nothing to slow him down. Within only a minute he had gathered his scant few things and gone, leaving Kendra to the peace and quite of her own misery. She tried in vain to remember last night's events but apparently the alcohol had worked it's magic once again... It was nothing more than a blur. Oh well... It wasn't as though she truly cared.
Finally, she managed to shrug off the overbearing lethargy and set about to work gathering her scattered clothing. All the while, her mind lingered on the upcoming race. Hopefully Gorick would have her bike up and ready to run by the time it was needed. She really wasn't in the mood to be bothered with the mechanical details... She had eyes only for the track. Something deep within the girls heart told her that this race was gonna be a good one... and with any luck, maybe it would be her last.

Rawling spent months trying to develop this engine with the help of many mechanics. A Desert Screamer modified to use blue eco as fuel instead of the conventional gasoline. Not just any blue eco. But his own and just like him, it was virtually untouchable. He painted it a dark midnight blue, it was very fresh and any visible fuel lines glowed a bright blue.
Rawling had the vehicle towed to the garage to ensure that it ran at its peak performance. His hired mechanic helped Rawling push it to an empty lot to give it a final check before driving onto the track. "Tell you what Adam, you are a wizard under the hood." Rawling said giving the mechanic a firm pat on the back. "Just doing my job." Adam modestly replied. "Ok I'll check the fuel lines and the eco modules." Rawling said right before hoping on the back of the screamer and started inspecting the engine. All the eco using parts anyway.
And then he heard her. The frustrating shout of a familiar woman he knew well. Rawling turned in her direction there was Audra arguing with her vehicle. He set foot on the ground and casually walked behind her. More like sneaking up behind her. He got close to her ear and said, "Having trouble!?" He mildly shouted. Enough to get her attention for sure.

"You know this is not the best of ideas," Skye said looking down at Martin from the roof of the tin shed she lay on, relaxing on it's hot surface. Martin didn't reply. Instead he continued looking down at a note book, pencil in hand, staring at several very rough sketches. Each one was a design for a racer, mostly buggies but one or two were bike designs. And all had a nice big X across them. Several books lay around him as he sat in the shade of the tin shed, leaning against the metal as he looked at the designs in the books. One book contained different pictures of different buggy models, another was on pure mechanics. Other books had little tibits of useful information. And none were getting him anywhere. Leaning back Martin planted his head against the sheds side with a thud. The race was only a short time away and he couldn't even think up a design. Then again how would he be able to build a buggy to enter into the race after he thought up a design... He was no mechanic. Books only help so much. Experience was needed for the rest. They needed food and the prize from this race could feed them for weeks if not months! With a sigh Martin closed his eyes...perhaps he wouldn't be able to do this. And besides that, what experience did he have as a racer. Yea, he had raced on jet board, sure he had flown on Skye and out run metalheads during the war, but racing...that was something new. Yet he wanted to try. Sure it was dangerous but what in his life wasn't! Sure he and Skye could now walk in Haven without worrying about being shot on sight! He was a hero of Haven, just like many others. But still people eyed them with caution, seeing he and Skye as different, as outsiders. Then there were those that still wished them harm. Some people still wanted them for experiments, others wanted Skye because she would make a nice trophy on a wall. The danger never ended, and it never would. So this race made no real difference. Martin sighed, "What to do, what to do?" "Well what are you trying to do?" Martin and Skye looked up as a familiar figure appeared, limping onto the roof. "Hey Etrius!" Martin yelled with a smile, as Skye nodded. "So what are you two up to?" Etrius said with a smile, hobbling over to them, leaning on a staff. "Been trying to come up with a design for a buggy for the up coming races." Etrius looked up at Skye, "Please tell me you've tried to talk him out of this." "It is like talking to a brick wall sometimes," Skye said. With a sigh, Etrius turned and looked at Martin. "Well if you really want to race I may be able to help. I have an old buggy I stole from some marauders from one of my past adventures. Your welcome to use it if you like." Martin jumped to his feet, "What! Really! Thank you, thank you so much!" "Don't thank me just yet," Etrius said, raising his hand to settle Martin down. "That old buggy is beat up and falling apart. If it can make it through a race is beyond me! Along with that you'll need to find a mechanic." Martin stared at Etrius, suspicious, "So you don't know how to do repairs on a buggy or do you just not want to." Etrius laughed, "A little of both. Though a little more towards the just not knowing how. I was an assasin for hire. I knew how to repair, not how to repair." As he said Etrius went quiet, staring off into space. "Do you ever wish it would have been different? That you had found a different path to take with life?" Martin asked. Etrius sighed,"All the time, all the time." With a shake of his head he reached into his pocket, "Here, catch," he said, tossing a large key to Martin. "Its in the garage under my house. Do what you wish with it, just, don't get yourself killed." Martin grinned, "I'll try not too!" With that Etrius turned and began to walk. As he did he glance up at Skye, "Keep an eye on him." "I always do," Skye repsonded, with a nod as Etrius disappeared down a fire escape.

Audra's fingers brushed up against the edge of the wrench and she scrunched up her face in determination. She extended her arm as far as it would go and inched her fingers forward. With each inch gained the wrench slid backward just out of reach. With a sigh Audra gave up, slapping her empty hand on the concrete in frustration. " Got two more that do the same thing. . ." She mumbled slightly to herself as she maneuvered herself out from under the bottom of the car. As she started sliding out her head she heard a distinctive, loud voice in her ear.
She popped her head up and into the bottom of the car, making a notable yelp as her head collided. Immediately she grasped her head and checked for blood, which she found a small amount already leaking from the wound. " Head shot." She joked through pursed lips as she rubbed the soar spot on her head. "Ya I am having a bit of trouble. . . well a bit more now that I know you are out and about. "
