Era: Baron's Corruption||Fall of Haven||World Without End
Name: Asadi Dahaka
Sex: Male
Age: Baron's Corruption - 16; The Fall of Haven - 21; World Without End - 23
Appearance: (In Baron's Corruption)-- Asadi has short, black hair and brown eyes. Naturally, he has long, pointy ears and dark skin. He is about five and a half feet tall, with a lean build. He has some muscles, but isn't visibly toned. His usual clothing consists of a brown, sleeveless shirt over his bare torso, covered by a dark green, short-sleeved coat, with black buttons down the front (which are generally unbuttoned), several pockets down the front, and a large collar. On his legs are a pair of (sloppily-made) blue jean-like shorts, which are slightly baggy to allow breathing room, and he has two belts, one black and one brown, on his waist. He wears black leather steel-toed boots on his feet, and has a dark green bandana tied to the left side of his pants, alongside a pair of goggles.
(In The Fall of Haven)-- Asadi's hair has lengthened to reach the bottom of his ears, and he's also more muscular. His coat and bandana are now dark blue, and his sleeveless shirt black, and he's now wearing pants. He also has a dark blue tattoo of a serpent spiraling up from his left wrist.
(In World Without End)-- Asadi's hair is longer than before, but now in a long ponytail. He's quite built now, and his clothing is back to the original colors, but his coat is now sleeveless and his pants remain long-legged. The tattoo on his left arm is also on his right arm, but in dark green, like his clothes.
Posture: Asadi stands straight, generally, and walks with an even, balanced stride. He always looks forward, which can be interpreted as wanting to look confident, however confident he may actually be. As said, he is quiet and moves subtly, not attracting unnecessary attention. He walks with a neutral look on his face, betraying no emotion to strangers. His head stays down, again to avoid attracting attention.
Personality: Asadi is good and kind, though not necessarily assertive. He is generally nice to people, but if he sees people picking on someone, he wouldn't be the guy to stop them and give them a lecture about it. If something disturbs him enough, he will step in, though he wouldn't be sure about what to do next. He likes to leave people alone, and hopes for them to leave him alone. Needless to say, he doesn't like to draw attention.
Within, Asadi has mixed emotions. Having been a fairly trusting person as a teenager and a child, Asadi is no longer likely to trust many people, due to the fact that there are people who will betray him easily, due to the idea of government money. Along the same lines, Asadi tries not to get friendly with people, and keeps his Underground relationships strictly professional after feeling the hurt after his best friend Quann died. He is afraid that making a relationship more personal will only hurt more in the end.
Occupation: Member of the Underground
Abilities/Skills: Limited hand-to-hand combat; advanced knife combat; advanced computer use; moderate hacking; moderate mechanical abilities
Powers: Basic Yellow Eco
Weapons: A pistol in a holster on his left side.
Relationships: All family is either distant or deceased. Best friend was the late Quann Way.
Story about them/History:Asadi was born in Haven City, with parents who had good financial position. He was raised with care, with two loving parents. Needless to say, he grew up quite comfortably, and he went to school and learned quite well. He had few secrets with his parents until his teenage years, but that was natural. It wasn't anything particularly bad, either.
In school when he was twelve, Asadi met Quann, a shady yet smart student in his classes. He wasn't seen much around the city, and it wasn't long before Asadi learned that his parents were killed by Metal Heads while they were on the outskirts of the city. The two got along well, and did just about everything together. Quann even taught Asadi how to fight with a knife (Quann learned from his father, for whatever reason, at a young age). When the two were sixteen, they left school on a mission to become rich. They did odd jobs around Haven City to try to make it, but nothing seemed to cover the apartment they then shared and the expenses of their "business," which consisted of a small shop in the town which had a desk, a file cabinet, a lot of paper, and several pens. Oddly, there were no chairs.
When they became desperate, Asadi caved and got a proper job as a shop clerk. Quann, however, said he got a job, but never said where or what. One day, Asadi followed him, worrying of drug trafficking or something, but found something entirely different- his best friend was working for the Underground. When Quann learned of his friend's shock, he explained that he was told (by a member of the Underground) that his parents were rebels as well, and died in that line of work. And so, he wanted to continue their "legacy." He was barely able to convince Asadi to join him, more to make sure he didn't die than anything else. They did quite little, seeing as though the two of them were new and inexperienced. Asadi figured it was a good thing, but Quant disagreed. Again reluctantly, Asadi helped hatch a plot to make them more prominent, to show that they were good members.
On the night of operation, they went to the park, intending to blow up the entrance to cause more chaos. While setting the explosives, Asadi heard gunshots, and quickly ran to the source to find that Quant was fighting several Krimson Guards. He quickly joined, but backup came and they were overwhelmed. Quant was shot in the chest, straight through the heart, and died instantly. Asadi was only glad that it was quick and painless. Asadi himself was arrested and sent to prison.
The fact that the explosives weren't even set yet was good for him, and he was out after a few years, relatively unscathed. Of course, he learned a lot about staying discreet in prison, leading to his attitude today. Though, the event with Quant scarred him, and he felt the resolve, more than ever, to bring down the government.
