A Run-In With a Sage

Ku walked slowly through the sifting sands of Spargus, hugging his Katara close to his body. He had just returned from scavenging in Haven City and returned to pawn some of the materials in Spargus.
Ku sighed and said,"Man...it's another scorcher in Spargus." He took a long drink from his canteen and wiped his forehead. He knew that something felt different however, as if something was going to go right...yet wrong.

Ku shook off the feeling he had and made his way towards the pawn shop, pulling out the odd cans and pieces of precursor metal he had hidden in his bag.
He walked inside and said,"I have some new stuff for you! Some old cans as well as what I believe to be some rare precursor metal." He put the cans and pieces of metal onto the counter, letting the man eye the material.
The man said,"I'll give ya five orbs for the cans and metal." He spat into a small tin can next to the counter and eyed Ku.
Ku said,"Sir, I spent weeks trying to smuggle this metal out into Spargus! Why do I only get five orbs? I think I should at least get 50 orbs for it." The man and Ku stared at each other, trying to see who would break down first. The man sighed, one of those sighs that said "I have a feeling I'm gonna regret this", and gave Ku a bag full of orbs.
Ku smiled and said,"Thank you kindly sir. I'll see you again next time." Ku took the orb-filled bag, put it into his and stepped out of the store.

Ku took another long drink from his canteen, emptying it out. He sighed and filled up his canteen at a nearby spigot.
Ku thought,"That couldn't be the feeling that I felt earlier...the feeling I felt was a bit...powerful." He looked over to a small corner of shade near a building and slid down to the ground. Ku sat there, contemplating on what the feeling could possibly be.

[Tatsu]

Tatsu walked down the streets of Spargus covered with a white cloak. He walked fast and silently, making sure no footprints were left behind him. Great Precursors what now. He thought to himself. A week… only a week passed by yet he was still-hunted by them? Why was he so important?

He turned left then right down two buildings. At the edge he saw a man sitting with a canteen, he mumbled to himself, enough to where only he knew what he was saying. As he passed the man he simply nodded, his face covered in darkness. “Good day.” He said in his same velvet voice.

Tatsu quickly passed by him in the hopes he wasn’t undercover or anything. Don’t show emotion… don’t let them see you this way. Tatsu had always thought Emotions were useless, for nothing. This however brought up some emotions he never experienced before.

The sooner this was over the better; his Eco signature was being cruel to him. It wouldn’t lower… hopefully no Eco users were tracking him down. Even though he knew Robots had no use for them. He walked faster looking around. Only one second was all he needed to feel the entire city, to sense for any Eco or robots. Then he would make his way to finding the Monk’s Temple… where the Precursor idle is.

He stopped and let his body be surrounded by Light, his skin changed and so much more. He closed his eyes and felt around him…

Ku felt the warm of the man who had walked past him, feeling a but better about the day.
He thought,"This feeling...it's just like the one I felt earlier!" Ku stood up and looked around for the man. He saw the man start walking quickly away from him.

Ku followed the man out to a clear area, Ku himself behind a large rock.
Ku thought,"What the precursor is that guy doing?" That's when he felt warmth embed inside of his entire body and his Eco level go through the roof.
Ku yelled,"What the hell is going on?!"

[Tatsu]

Tatsu felt around the city, his vain’s warming up. He allowed this only happen for a split second before hearing someone. With that he quickly withdrawn his Eco and looked around. “Who’s there?” He asked in a much cruel voice. He didn’t want to take any chances.

The Eco he felt was close to him, as well as another. Dark Eco, one much greater than any other in the rumbling city. So she is here… I told her to stay in the forest. He thought. Tatsu was speaking of his wife. The Dark Diva of Haven. She wasn’t at all mean to people like most Dark Eco users, she had no opinion on the matter.

Tatsu could feel the presence of the Eco user nearby. “Show yourself or suffer.” He said with an easing voice. He never liked it when people followed him, not here not ever. Tatsu slowly brought his arm up to make a shield just in case the Eco user would attack, or simply be too stupid and jump him.


As Tatsu was dealing with that he didn’t pay much attention to the fact the KG Deathbots were entering Spargus unannounced. Little by little they were sneaking in the city, about twenty entered searching for him. What a day to be a Sage.

Ku slowly left from behind the rock, waving his hand nervously.
He thought,"Maybe I shouldn't have yelled out so loudly..." He made his way towards the man, noticing the Eco shield the man had up, he must've though Ku was trying to attack him.
Ku said,"I won't try anything friend. You give me this feeling...as if something good yet bad will go wrong today. I'm Ku. May I ask who you are?" He tightened the grip he had on his Katara and stood a few feet away from the man.

Ku couldn't tell that the other man was a Sage, but knew he was something more then human. He also couldn't feel the other Eco signature coming ever so closer to him as well as the KG Bots. He only knew of two people: himself and the man in front of him.

[Tatsu]

Tatsu snickered. “My name is of no importance.” He then thought of the comment he made, ‘You give me this feeling...as if something good yet bad will go wrong today.’ Tatsu understood the feeling, the effects of being the Light Sage. I need to hurry… He thought.

Tatsu let the shield release, once it did sparks of light eco flew around. “I have that effect on people… and if you’re lucky you will not have a ‘bad’ day.” Once he got done saying that a KG Spybot jumped at him. With a flash his cloak unveiled a double bladed scythe taller than the man. With a swift swing it cut through the metal of the bot. “Damn things found me.” He said.

Tatsu let the scythe hit the ground, the metal making a sonata of rings. The blades were thin and had Precursor markings. It showed the reflections of everything around it, it was truly beautiful. “I suggest you leave if you don’t want a fight.” Tatsu said aiming the message towards Ku. His face was still covered with the cloak.

More Spybots were coming. Tatsu’s time was running out before she would get there.

Ku said," Well that's good-" He stopped when he noticed the large KG Bot come from no where and the man cut the it in half. Ku shifted his weight a little, feeling a bit uneasy now that he had just seen that.
He thought,"Maybe I should just get out of here..." He started to take a few steps back until he walked into something.

He thought,"There's nothing around here for me to stumble into. Only that rock. Unless...." Ku slowly turned around and was face to face with a KG Bot. He gulped slowly as he watched it raise it's fist and slam it down, only to miss Ku who had dodged the swing.
Ku asked,"Please don't tell me these things are after you?!'' He went into his battle position as he noticed more rolling towards the man, the KG Bot and himself.

[Tatsu]

Tatsu smirked. “Why, are you scared?” He said shifting his weight to his left. With a quick glide over he slashed the bot in half Ku had bumped into. “Hold on for a moment. You may feel an uneasy sensation but this should help you get away.” Tatsu let his scythes fall on the ground as he kneeled clapping both hands together. His clothing went from white to a light tinted glowing blue, a shock wave of Light surrounded the area, time as they knew it ceased to move… except for every ten seconds.

Tatsu looked at Ku, his face still hidden. “I suggest you run if you don’t want to battle.” He said with a more angelic voice. He bent down and grabbed his two scythes that were one. With a click of a button near the handle the one seemingly handle broke in two, forming two medium size scythes.

He seemed peaceful now, easy not so stiff. “I have places to go.” He whispered to himself. With that he took off slicing at the bots. He cut two Spy bots in half with two strokes of his wrists. He then charged towards a Robo-goon. He twisted his wrist bringing the left scythe into the robots chest, with his right one he slashed the head off clean. “Pathetic.” He whispered.

A blast bot started to walk towards them… taking its time and much more thanks to Tatsu’s Flash Freeze.

Ku twitched a little, hearing and watching the man giving him a window of opportunity to run.
Ku said,"I think I'll stay with you. Looks like you could use a hand." He stabbed the Blast Bot straight through the middle with his Katara and kicked it into another one, causing the both of them to explode.

Ku added,"Besides, It'll keep them from coming after me if I leave. They've seen my face already." He continued stabbing and slashing through the KG Bots, waiting for time to slow down once it started to run normally.

[Tatsu]

Time returned. Tatsu had just sliced a bot in half. He felt the presence of more blast bots. “Well now… we have company.” He said looking around. He took off to an alley, there a Blast bot was walking down. Tatsu jumped up, wings sprouting from his back. He glided down on top of it.

With a single slash of his blades all four of its legs broke off, sending him and the body down to the ground. The gun pointed at him and shot, making a hole in his shoulder. He didn’t cry in pain, instead he slashed the bot’s gun, then the eye, it started to make the beeping noise.

“Dreadful.” Tatsu said doing a back flip off of the bot. Instead of falling to the ground he ended up flying, his back to the ground. “3…2…1…bang.” He said as the bot exploded. He flew across to where Ku was. He settled his feet to the ground and allowed the wings to disappear into a light style dust.

He examined the area. Four Blast Bots left, and Five Robo-goons. Giving if it weren’t for the fact he was shot in the shoulder… well his right shoulder, which was really lucky, he could take them out in a matter of minutes. It looks like he could use Ku’s help after all.

He looked at Ku. “Do me a favor and guard me while I heal.” He said in a more calm tone. With a sudden burst of Light Eco his body rose three feet off the ground, a cocoon of Eco surrounded him, entering his body.
