Cigs and Guns

After his brief meeting with Shinrah Marr, Scott decided to relax in a usual place at a usual time: An old house near the docks just as the moon hit the center sky. It was full this night and bright on surfaces below.

He took off his tactical vest and sat up against the wall of what was once the living room of this old house. He opened a small cylinder containing a single cigarette and a zippo lighter. He put the cigarette between his lips and with a click and a small a flame emerged from the lighter. He lit his cigarette and took a good drag off of it. The taste of the tobacco was still fresh from the pack and it was good. He tossed the lighter onto the ground, "Huuh...I wonder if that girl even has interest in what Underground has to offer. She seems like the kind of you couldn't trust as far as you can throw her. But oh well. If the want her, they want her." He thought to himself.

He could hear the whirring of Hellcat engines outside. Several in fact. "They must be on the prowl..."

They stopped and landing right outside of the house and Scott had to investigate. He stood up and walked towards the window. The moonlight was beaming down on his face through the window. But something was odd. The Kg were upload from the Hellcats but just standing in a row facing the house not really doing anything. He walked a little closer to the window trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

The next moment they raised there blaster rifles and unleashed hell onto the old residents. Yellow eco blast shot through the window and Scott took immediate evasive action by hitting the floor and crawling back towards his gear. There he grabbed his pistol and took cover.

"Scott Raynor!" a loud speaker echoed through the night air. "You have been declared an enemy of the state and traitor the Baron and Haven City! Surrender quietly or we will have no choice but to use force! Either way you will be turned in! Dead or alive"

Scott grunt in frustration, "Dammit! how did they find me?" He shouted looking for a way to fight back several dozen heavily arms militants. He dragged his tactical vest towards him where a grenade was attached. He disconnected the grenade by pulling the pin and threw it out the window. Explosion was heard along with scream and twisting metal, "f**k you, ass hole!!" Scott shouted coming up from his cover and shooting at the KG.

"Kill him! Find him and kill him!" Scott heard threw the gun fire. There was a hellstorm of yellow eco and bullets flying through the air, reducing the house little by little into little shards and splinters. Scott was in a tight spot. He had no place to run, pinned down and with limited ammo. It would take a miracle from the Precursors themselves that he made it out alive.

Shinrah sat in the dark, a radio in her hand. The last time she had messed with one it had exploded. A funny little joke. Now she sat listeing to different channels the kg worked with, wantingto find some trouble.

" We got a live one guys! They found Scott Raynor, and thier trying to kill him!" A newer recruit shouted into the thing, ignoring all protocol about codes and locations. She laughed as another, older guard came on,giving coordinates.

Thats they guy that was following me. So they're after him? I wonder what for. Nows as good a time as any to find out. Besides, it'll be fun.

She moved quickly, speeding her way through the city with incredible leaps. But she wasn't going fast enough. Hellcats sped over her, and she had an idea.

She stopped, watching the next machine move by. Shinrah leapt straight upward and it passed, her landing on top. She pulled out her blaster rifle. I9t was an easy shot, and she was rolling.

She approached the area quickly, and smiled at what she saw. Explosions and hellcats. It was the perfectmixture of danger and fun. She moved downwards, crashing into a few hellcats along the way. She jumped out, smiling as she grabbed a radio on the way. The young woman dialed the frequency number.

" Hey Scott buddy. Wanna tell me where you are so I can join the fun? I'd hate to be left alone out here to kill some kg by myself." She said into the device,grinning.

A beep emitted in his ear then a voice. It was her. Shinrah. but she was treating the situation as if it were a joke. This was no time for a joke!

He tapped the ear piece in his ear, "Well for starters you can take out the firing squad! Where are you!?"

He kept cover looking out the freshly made holes and windows to try and find her. There was brief ceasefire but Scott's instincts told him to stay put. He laid down on the floor and allowed his suit to form into the look of an old wooden floor. He reached for his mask and put it on and he instantly synced with the suit. He was, again, perfectly camouflaged.

Moments after KG slowly crept in. Scott slowly and quietly crawled towards the wall in the shadows and blended into it. He stood up and was hidden so well, none of them could see him even though they are only a couple feet from him.

Everthing was nearly pitch black but Scott had to superior vision. His Perfect Eye was on. He could see every moment that each and every one of them were making. He just had to wait for the right moment...

The young woman smiled, and took aim. She could see where the squad was, but wanted to get a better aim. To the roof it is. She crept slowly, black as the shadows around her, and found a ladder. She didn't dare risk jumping up. That would get her caught.

Instincts imprinted into her kicked in, and her mind switched. She was quiet now, a shadow killer. She aimed the gun at the kg, silencer making the barrel longer. There was a brief puff of air, and the kg fell to the ground, holes in thier crimson armor.

" I'm on the roof at the moment." She whispered into the device. She wasn't sure where Scot was, but she had a feeling trouble was going his direction.

"I'm in the eastward side of the living room." Scott said as quietly as he could. But the closest KG next to him heard him. "What was that...?" He said quietly cautiously towards Scott.

Scott got ready by sheathing his knife slowly and about to take action. The KG was only a couple of feet from him gun raised. "Now!" Scott shouted in him head. He chunked the gun into the KG face and moved in behind the barrel of the KG's blaster rifle. As the KG was stuck by the pistol, Scott jabbed his elbow into his rib cage, grabbed the stock and flipped it forward out of his hand. Scott then twisted his arm behind his back and around the gun as Scott turned him around with the gun facing forward towards the rest of the room and the knife was at his throat.

By this time the other KG's saw their comrade unable to move with a knife at his neck while being used as a human shield. "LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO NOW!!" They all shouted raising their guns at Scott and the KG, unable to shoot in fear of killing their team mate.

"Any time now, kid!" He said with the blaster rifle pointed at the rest of the KGs and his finger ready to pull the trigger.

[Neki]

A shadow sung over the roof, launching into the Kg. She pulled out a long knife, and blood poured from wounds. She was lightning fast, and it showed as fear crept into the kg.

Ducking down she cut the muscles in someones legs, moving as they colapsed where she had been only a moment before.

" Shoot now!" She yelled at Scott, puling out her own gun and raining the Kg with a spray of bullets.

"Dammit! Killing them will only make us even more wanted by the Baron!"

But what choice did he have? He had to get out of there with Shinrah on way or another. With the KG hostage still in submission in front of him he began shooting the yellow eco rifle at the rest of the KG.

Rifle fire came from every direction shooting KG and towards Scott and actually using his hostage as a meat shield as he approached Shinrah. "You having fun yet!?" He asked frustration and sarcastically. "This will only piss them off you know that right!?"

Shinrah smiled at she heard the sarcasm lacing his voice. It was a wide smile, almost that of a cheshire cat gone wrong.

" I am indeed having fun. Pissing people off is my game. It means more people get to die." She stopped shooting, looking at the pile of ammassed bodies of dead Kg. The sight had no affect on her, and it never really did.

" Wars are won in a naunce Scott. You should realize this. I myself am not one for naunces. I like explosions, fire, explosives, and any kind of trouble there is out there. You go ahead with all your careful planning and secret plotting. I work in one way. The way that makes people think for a moment because people are turning up dead and disticts are on fire." Her eyes were bright green as she spoke, adrenaline still flowing though her.

" I've always liked explosions anyway." She muttered to herself, laughing slightly.

Scott threw the dead KG to the ground and took cover. "Well you should well realize that without a plan the explosions could hit the wrong spot. Randomly throwing for fists around can leave you vulnerable and without strategy. But never mind that. We have to the get the hell out of here."

The sounds of sirens began to emerge from the gun fire. Reinforcements were on the way. But the only problem was that the only way out was either through the KG or the water in the port. "We might have to swim out of here. You know how to swim right?"

[Neki]

Shinrah nodded.

" Yep. I'm faily good at it. Not that much different from anything else." She looked at the green waters, thinking of the cool water. It would be nice to go for a swim.

" Well, I'f we're going to do this lets go!" She shouted, and ran, leaping headfirst into the water.
