Breaking Laws

Rawling jogged up to the front of them to take the lead. "Don't worry I know where I'm going. I haven't been down here for a little while but I'm sure I still got it down." Just after he said that he turned into another corridor and directly at the end was a sentry gun with a laser locked onto his chest. "Whoa!" He jolted back bumping into Ku but at least those couple shots the gun fired didn't hit him.

"Sorry, sorry...." He peered around the corner to see it turned from side to side searching for a target. "Welll.. those are new." Rawling finally took his busted helmet off but kept his smiling bandanna tied around his face. He tossed the helmet into the corridor. It took maybe a second and half for the gun to detect and complete me turn it to swiss cheese.

"Woo! Did you see that!? Man! The KGs got some serious hardware now days. Haha!" Classic Rawling.. loving the little things even if they can kill you. Rawling started charging up blue eco. A lot of it. The aura of it was sure to be felt by the two. As he did he handed Josie his JET-Board. "Here you go, you hold that. Don't mess it up though... 'm assuming you guys don't mind me doing this." Referring to his eco usage, "Ya know, since I'm trying to get us out of this stink.."

He back up from the corner and got ready to bolt toward the sentry. "Ok if I get shot. I've got a healer. Am I right?" He turned to Ku and nodded. "Oh and in case I don't make it back. I'm Rawling" He offered his hand to shake Josie's.

Ku stepped to the side and shook his head.
He said,"Since you've already seen me do what I do, this doesn't disturb me at all friend." He then nodded to Rawling's term of him as a healer and smiled. Ku peeked around the corner lightly and saw the sentry turning continuously in a circle and noticed a small spot in the back of it.
He said,"If you hit that spot right there, you should be able to disable it without setting off any alarms if there are any down here."

Seemed as if the other man had taken contorl of the group. Josie didn't really mind. The sewers weren't exactly a playground and she didn't know how to navigate herself down here. Josie just kept quiet, thinking of where Quinn might run off to to hide from the raid. Probably the garages...but which one? Possibly Mykah's? But Audra's is better hidden. His garage? To interupt her thought process, she heard a gun shot fire out through the air. She yipped and jumped where she was standing. The boy with the JET-Board bounced back from the corner he was about to turn adn told that there was a turret gun. Oh, that's a nice new feature, Josie thought. Not that I didn't already enjoy the sewer Metalheads.

The guy said he could get rid of that turret, and Josie bet he could. She couldn't. She could probably and roll herself out of its range, but never destroy it. A blue aura started to form around him. Obviously worked on his eco. He handed her his JET-Board before departing for the turret. Josie smiled and shook his hand when he finally gave her his name. "Josie," she chuckled a little. "But you already know that." she shrugged with smile. "Now go kick some sentry turret ass." She gave a grin.

Rawling gave Josie a little wink "Will do!" He peered slightly around the corner to time it just right to hit that spot on the turret. Rawling lets the blue eco run through him freely and a blue aura violently arose around him shoot sparks of blue lightning.

And then the time was right! He shot off so fast there wasn't even a blur. Time ran slowly for him as he approached the turret that seemed to stop in place. Rawling channeled lightning into his hand just before slicing his mark making it melt in two and then there were more gun shots coming from his right. There was another turret! Rawling didn't let up his eco hand he gave the same punishment to this gun and the next one that was just up ahead. Flashes of light filled the tunnels of the sewer system with each hit.

Rawling went back to the first gun before subsiding is eco and walked back to Ku and Josie. "The coast is clear!" He said with a thumbs up. "No need to thank me." He said brushing his shoulders off.

Ku looked around the corner with a slight smile.
He said,"Thanks a lot Rawling."He patted Rawling's shoulder and looked down the long pipe. He saw the faint glow of yellow eyes in the darkness ahead with some slight growling.
Ku said with a nervous chuckle,"There's no Metalheads down here...right?"

"Don't know." Rawling put his hands in his jacket pockets as he started to walk ,"But if there is we can take them. Plus the bazaar is only a few minutes walk in these tunnels. Just stick to me and we'll get out of here in no time."

Rawling took the lead again. It kind of felt good being the leader of a group. Not the fact that he had some kind of authority just the fact that he was leading these two to safety. Away from the KG.

Audra moaned, stretching her already sore arms and flexing her bruised hands. " You owe me big time for this." She mumbled unthreading her arms from the crash bars and standing up. The zoomer rocked a bit, dipping as she moved. This run was going to be particularly dangerous for her, she was in her normal mechanics cloths and could be easily recognized if they had to get up-close and personal with the KGs. She adjusted her scarf, dipping it in front of her mouth in an effort to keep her face hidden.

With a quick glaring sweep of there surroundings it was obvious that there was no room for mistake. Troops of KG's were swarming below them interrogating the wounded and investigating the scene for clues. "Well it's now or never, keep low, watch your six and tell me where the hell were heading" Audra said with a nervous smile, opening up her glove to pull on a few wires. With a small sucking sound like that of a vacuum cleaner blood trickled through the hoses. "Just in case." She added, tightening her muscles and then jumping to the nearby building.

Without stopping she ducked into cover waiting for Mykah. All the while she could feel her heart beating faster as the familiar rush of adrenaline flowed through her veins.

The guy seemed like he knew what he was doing, but Josie wasn't a patient person at all. Josie smiled a complete fake smile when he called out that the coast was clear. It was a nice gesture, well a brave gesture would be a better way to put it, but Josie was about to explode with worry and impatience. Josie followed the males through the dingy sewers. It was filled with a horrid smell, that reminded her of the slums and rotten garbage. Thank the Precursors I live in a nice part of the city, she thought.

Josie was still in her daze thought when she felt something wrap around her leg. She jumped and looked down to find a small green creatures with bugling eyes. "Ew!" she screamed and shook the green thing off. Once it landed to the ground, she kicked it full force into the wall and it fell into the water. She gasped. "I did not mean to do that!" she defended.

Ku turned his head and saw Josie kick off the small thing. He smiled and took a spot behind her.
He said,"It's okay. How about you stay in the middle? I'll take care of the back."

Rawling couldn't help but laugh at Josie's freak out and turned his head as he walked to talk "Oh come on! Don't be so mean to the little guys. They are probably more scared of you than you are of them."

He looked forward and saw the manhole they were looking for. "There we go right there." He pointed to the small beams of light on the ceiling. And then, a noise. Like a bellow of an animal. Rawling stopped dead in his tracks and put his hand up to signal his followers to stop. "Shh... did you guys hear that?"
