Targa stopped his charge and let off a few shots at a female racer who was speeding away down the track. Then he stopped to consider the scene there where racers laying all over the track, many of them wounded. He saw a human trying to help others and who was also yelling at him. He also saw a human healer helping closer to the stand's. He fired a few shot's towards him then charged toward the one trying to help a fellow racer preparing to slash his body to bloody Ribbons.

More shots fired at her as she sped away, but luckily none hit her. That was completely unexpected, Josie thought in pain and anger as she rounded a corner. She couldn't hear the familiar, soft hum of anymore JET-Board, everyone must have went down. Either that or the guy in front of her was like lightning. This race is done with, Josie thought and made her way up a ramp, out of the water. The city was on alert now. People running through the streets and the KG all racing. That damn shooter had to fricken trigger it. There was a reason it was called the Underground races.
Not only was the race down with, so was she. The pain in her leg was burning. Josie skittered into an alley and literally fell off her JET-Board and onto the ground. She moaned and hissed in pain until she leaned her back against the building and put her hands on her right knee. The small Green Eco amount she had flowed through her hands and onto her knee. The burn started to decrease and Josie sighed in still pain, but relief as well.
Where the hell is that damn cousin of mine? Josie know through in anger as the eco flowed to her foot and started to heal that. He always followed. Josie prayed to the Precursors that the attacker hadn't attacked Quinn.
Josie took off her mask and jacket. She wrapped the fox face in the jacket and carried it along with her JET-Board back to the scene of the crime. Maybe she could help. The scene was worse than when she had left it. Some blood flowing in the water from the fallen racers. But most were out of the water and being healed or taken away.
Josie weaved her way through stands and finally came to see a boy with jet black hair helping to heal fallen racers. Obviously another Green Eco user. "Hey,"she called from where she stood. "what happened here?" she asked.

Apparently this thing had a problem with Jet-Board racers? Rawling was grateful to see that there was someone else helping him get everyone off the course but he was only putting himself in danger. At that thought, the metalhead fired of a few shots towards the new helper. There was only one thing he could do. Take the hit.
Rawling could sense the dark eco from the charges. He figure since he is pretty efficient with dark eco himself, than maybe he can absorb the energy. Like lightening the board zoomed through the water in between the helper and the metalhead. "Dude get out of the way!" He shouted as he jumped off of his board and spread his body out. Two hit his chest, one in the torso, one in the leg. The force of the blasts knocked him flat on his back.
The burn and agony from the dark eco was intense. Rawling was trying his best to absorb until something went wrong. The mixing of the blast and his own dark eco started a chain reaction. Rawling was beginning to change unwillingly. He fought with all he had to keep it from happening but the more he fought the more he burned. He skurmed and convulsed on the ground until finally he stopped. The transformation did not happen. Rawling's vision blurred. And the last thing saw before blacking out was a huge mass falling from the sky. ______________________________________
The Hora'quan was not halting his assault in these humans. In fact, seeing it continue to try and shoot more people was the last straw for Khaloron. He channels red eco into his legs and used his massive strength to jump high in the air and into the path of the Hora'quan.
While in the sky a racer took the blow for a man helping those who were wounded. Khaloron's aim was right on. He hit the ground with such force that the concrete split and raised around him. He stood and face the Hora'quan. "Halt your advance, underling!" He commanded with such a roar that it echoed into the streets around them.

Mykah nodded and came up closer to Quinn. She just sighed as a shudder ran down her body. She was really going to be annoyed is these clothes kept bothering her. Really annoyed. Her face scrunched up as she swiped her copper hair from her eyes and looked at Quinn again.
" I've been doing pretty good. Making weapons and getting into trouble as usual." She itched her arm, maicured fingers digging into her dark skin. Why did being dressed up make her itchy and nervous? It never failed! She grumbled inside and hung her head for a moment. Then she looked up as the racers took off. She listened to the crowd roar, then her mind went back to Quinn. He said something about watching from the air? sounds good enough for me She thought.
"Sure. I think it'd be cool. I only watch things in the air when I'm running away." She gave a sarcastic smile at her own comment and turned, leaning against the rail. But something wasn't quite right. She could feel the vibrations of everything around her, and something was out of place. But she couldn't say what it was.
It was only then that people started screaming. Something about racers being killed on the track. Mykah turned to Qunn and pulled her pistols from her boots, not liking the sound of what was going on. "Whats the fastest way onto the track? I have a bad feeling about this!" She yelled at him, getting ready to move.

She had gotten quite dressed up. Manicure and everything. Quinn thought it was a nice look for her since all he's seen is the garage hermit/underground runner for the past years he had known his mechanic acquittance. Quinn shifted his shoulders, waiting for Mykah's answer. He was anticipating watching the race from his usual view point. It had become almost an addiction for him.
Mykah somewhat shifted, as if something was wrong and she perfectly vocalized something was wrong. Quinn could hear the screams as well. Something had went wrong. It wasn't just the normal "oh someone got knocked off" scream. This was some sort of murder, blood-chill, weirdo, KG thing. Something Quinn didn't want Josie in the middle of.
He wasted no time using his eco to run over and hop in his zoomer. Quinn started the zoomer and sped over to the rail where Mykah was. "Get in," he called over the roar of screams and the engine. "I can get us to the track." he said, wanting to waste no time.

Mykah ran, her boots at least flat for running. The last thing on earth she wanted was heels. Her manicured fingers clicked as she grabbed the side of the zoomer, pushing herself over the edge and into it. She wanted Josie out of this.
" GO!" She shoutedd at Quinn, wanteing to get out on the field. She hated the feeling of not knowing what to do. It was awful, boiling in her stomache like molten lead. She closed her eyes for a moment to get control her herself, all the adrenaline in her body getting sorted out. When they got close enough she was going to jump right out of this damn zoomer to help Josie.

The command wasn't necessary for Quinn to pound his food on the gas and shoot off. In the blink of an eye the zoomer was buzzing by building in the stadium section. Quinn's knuckles were turning white just thinking about Josie. What if she was attacked? What is she was dead. Following the track, Quinn could hear them getting closer to the crime scene. As they got close, Quinn glanced down at the water below. JET-Boards were floating with no owners. And even worse, small traces of blood were lingering in the water.
Quinn's red eyes shot back up to the sky, turning a sharp corner where the mob of people were running around each and every direction. Some trying to flee and some trying to help. Quinn couldn't really tell, but he didn't really care. Quinn stayed hovered in the air. In situations, Josie was unpredictable. If she had gotten hurt, she may have fled somewhere and maybe wasn't even at the scene. He stayed in the air and observed the ground below for the head of curly blonde hair. But through the mob of people, it was like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.
"Do you see her?" he asked Mykah.

Audra let out a disgruntled snort as she stared at her racing zoomer. The booster module that she was trying to install was giving her trouble, the hoses she was using too big for the job. Damn . . . She thought mentally as she traced her eyes across the zoomer. It was a fine peace of machinery, the paint bright blue and with dark black stripes dancing down the sides. It was sleek, as any NYFE racer should be, obviously built for nothing more then speed. Wiping a bit of sweat off her brow she finally decided to look at the clock.
" Wait. . . Oh crap. . ." Audra mumbled her eyes growing big with realization. She was going to miss the Jet-board race. I should have been paying more attention! She growled to herself, her body darting away from the zoomer and to her workbench. She promptly slipped on her glove, hurriedly attaching the tubes.
As the last tube screwed in she hurried to the door pressing the button and grabbing her scarf on the way out. "I'm never gonna make it in time. . . " She scolded herself as she briskly walked forward, adjusting her scarf all the while. Looking around her mind took in her surroundings. "To the skys?" She asked herself as she passed out of the stadium grounds her eyes looking straight up at the various archways and billboards that dotted the many roofs.
" Always ." She answered with a smile vaulting up the wall and grabbing at the molding that lined it. Will a great heave she pulled herself up, balancing upon the edge and taking in the various buildings. She smiled, the whisperings from below growing as onlookers gawked at her feat. Archway, billboard, rooftop, streetlights. . Audra took in mentally, her feet pounding along the wall as she began to pick up speed.
With a leap Audra vaulted off the archway and onto the thin metal of the billboard. She wobbled for a split second and then quickly jumped again, rolling this time, onto an adjoining rooftop. With huge gaits she covered it looking over the edge to catch site of the racers turning the corner in the waterways. I'm really late She thought before catching a glimpse of Mykah's copper hair in a zoomer within jumping distance. "Ah ha!" She voiced with a smile taking a huge leap out into the openness of the street. Her legs kicked as she tried to give herself the final oomf to land on top of the bulky zoomer.
She undershot it. Her hands hit the edge making the whole zoomer tip from her added weight. She groaned as she grabbed for the crash bars that sat on the side of the car. With another loud protest she grabbed with her right up to the bar just above the driver seat and swung herself up to sit in the small dip between the two cockpits. Nonchalantly she placed her feet on the edge of both the passengers seat and the drivers seat and tucked her arms in the holes of the crash bars above the seats.
" Nothing like a near death experience to brighten your day, eh guys?"

Mykah's question didn't make it in time when the zoomer nearly started to tip. Quinn grasped the steering wheel and almost went head first into the street below. After that balance came back and Quinn gathered himself, he turned around in his seat to see who the hell had the nerve to jump on his zoomer. "What the fu--" Quinn started to growl as he turned, but stopped his growl when he saw who it was. He threw his head back and started to sigh. "Audra....your timing is as inconvenient as ever. Of course." he moaned as he turned back around.
"Lovely of you to join us," Quinn said for his own sarcasm. "You missed the excitement. Something happened to all the racers. Mykah and I were just looking for Josie." Quinn explained. "And I've finally found her." Quinn mumbled. He decided to screw with Audra a little. "Hold on," he said in almost a whisper and pounded the gas with his foot and dipped down, almost going vertical, to the ground. As Quinn was trying to find some place to park, people were running every which way and he almost ran into a boy, who looked quite younger than him, fall to the ground. Quinn nearly squished him!
Now he was just angry at the stupid citizen. Quinn jumped out of the zoomer and marched over to yell at him, but realized he was knocked out. Literally. Not his problem. Quinn turned around and headed for Josie.

Targa roared in defiance! How dare this creature interfere with him. He charged forward his dark eco causing his punch-claws to grow and his fangs to sharpen. He leaped at Kohlaron snapping and slashing ready to fight to the end.
