In Haven there is a lab dedicated on creating warriors for Baron Praxis' dark army, all through out the building screams echo in the empty hallways. A chosen few KG keep a close eye on the prisoners and metal heads brought in to be tested on, wither it be with dark eco or just to slice them open no body was safe in the place.
Many a times a few of the guards themselves went missing, either used as a replacement or food for the metal heads; they where never really missed. Located deeper into the prison was the test floor, dedicated for the scientist to experiment on anything they wished to. Large supplies of eco where always being shipped in, never did the men and woman have to go without for their studies.
Walking down a empty hall, heavy boots stomped angry toward a prisoner cell. Golden eyes flashing in annoyance, brushing his inky black hair from his face the doctor stopped in front of a glass door. Laying on the ground unconscious, and in a pool of blood was a young girl, knocking on the glass a frown marred the man's handsome face "wake up Kelinna...I SAID WAKE UP!"
Loosing his calm demeanor for a brief second Gorturo quickly straightened his appearance, combing his fingers through his hair once again. The subject known as Kelinna remained unmoving, the bright red blood dripping from multiple gun shot wounds brought on by a earlier test.
Pulling out a small notebook and pen Gorturo began jotting down several notes, noting that slowly with injection of green eco the girl's hair was becoming a odd mix of brown and green. Looking from his notes, he looked down the hallway hearing a door open; snapping his book close Gorturo narrowed his eyes wondering who was roaming around this time of night.

A smile spread across the womans face, music from the prison making her nightime walk all the better. Her spiky black hair flashed as light caught the gold tips. Her black lab coat swished around her ankles, heels clicking as she moved through the hallway. She looked like a ghost in the light of the compund, dark save for her skin and misty gray eyes.
In her head something sounded. Not a heartbit, the everpresentsound of anything living, but another sound. Tick. Tick. Tick It was as if there were a clock in her head, keepong rack of every single moment of the day. She pulled a locked from her shirt, opening it with a soft click. The sound made her smile grow wider as she looked into the deep blue stone. For a second her mind wondered about where Kurama was, but then it was gone.
"wake up Kelinna...I SAID WAKE UP!"The voice was masculine, and was not happy. She didn't know many of the other people here, but the voice had strong qualities about it, the voice of a leader, not one of the pet expieraments. She changed her coarse downthe hall, following where the voice had come from. Her ears twitched as they followed the sound, leading her through one of the solid iron doors. She could hear the faint sound of a notebook closing. Someone must be up late studying.
As she rounded the corner she saw someone looking in that direction. His golden eyes were narrowed in her diretion, and she could almost feel his thoughts center on her. He was tall, much taller than she was. Calculations moved through her head, and she estimated her was at least 6'3'', if not more. Th same as her sister. No, he was slightly taller than her. His small glasses sat on the bridge of his nose. She liked them, and for a second thought about making herself a pair. wire rimmed glasses of gold. Possibly useful. I could incorporae some kind of technology into the lenses. It wouldn't bethat difficult. She continue to watch him, seeing his inky colored hair had only just been recently swept back the way it was. His white labcoat was stark aganst the black of his clothing. She smiled.
Her eyes slowly roamed over to the glass, and the person kept behind it. She was a young seeming girl, sitting i a pool of darkening blood. Her hair seemed to fluctuate between a sandy brown color and green. Jynx cocked her head to one side qickly in an insectile movement, loking at her. For a moment she wondered who it was, but decicded it was of no consequence. She didn't need to pry.
" Good evening." She said in greeting to the other doctor. Her rich dark voice echoed down the halls, and she could almost imagine people shivering upon hearing it. Then her mind moved to those people for a brief second. She had yet to come across another intelligent doctor here. Most of them had the brainpower of stones, and she looked down on them in a supercillious manner. Her attention came back to the doctor in another of her scary insectile movements, qiuck and harsh at the same time as being part of her liquid grace.

Looking over his shoulder, Gorturo observed the new comer with distaste, never having the pleasure of running into a intelligent female scientist at the prison, automatically he suspected she had done special favors to reach her position. Noticing she was wearing a black lab coat he had to let out a dark chuckle, the sound soon died as he saw that the female was ‘inspecting’ his subject. “Even if you wish it, I let no others in on my tests, so remove that look from your eyes you harpy.”
Not one for ever being subtle; Gorturo all but growled the words darkly, refusing to let some floozy in on his experiments. “Now by judging your… Appearance I can only guess you’re one of the many twits hired to look pretty and hand the scientist’s their equipment. So why not be a good girl and move along” turning back to the cell, he placed his palm against the glass. A twisted smile as the girl stirred within the cold room, a small cry of pain could be heard coming from her as the girl continued to bleed from the wounds as she struggled to sit up. Taking out his notebook again; Gorturo began writing once again, giddy in excitement as he noticing a few of the burn marks on his experiment’s face seemingly disappear.
Ignoring the woman next to him, he let out a small laugh as Kelinna opened her eyes; what was once normal brown eyes, now had a mixture of green the colors swirling together right before their very eyes. “Fascinating…” Continuing to take notes on how the eco was fully integrating with the test subject, his pencil suddenly snapped as the girl fainted, a loud thud echoing inside her cell as she fell into the puddle of blood. Growling in anger, he slammed his fist against the cell; his hair once again falling into his face “damn her… Damn her for not being strong enough yet...”

For a single moment Jynx was infuriated. No one ever spoke to her that way, in that tone. Her fingers curled, her effort to keep them from the handle of her well oiled gun. Her mind whirred for a second, digesting the information. Not let her in on his work? A harpy? She took a silent breath in trying to calm herself from making a huge mistake. She didn't want to be part of his work. She had no interests in green eco. Her specialty was blue. The eco of movement and electricity.
"Non, I do not wish to have a part in your work. You may keep your bleeding girl-child. I will please ask you not to call me a harpy. I am no thief of others work." An edge of electricity crept into the rich tones of her voice. She could feel the sparks arcing in her mettalic arm, the eco giving her a sense of evey small piece that was working. She didn't like the tone he was taking with her, and for a second her mind drifted to the girl. She seemed interesting enough, laying there in her weak broken state.
“Now by judging your… Appearance I can only guess you’re one of the many twits hired to look pretty and hand the scientist’s their equipment. So why not be a good girl and move along." His words infuriated her. He thought she was the twit? Non, she didn't like his manner at all. Yet under it she could tell there was a man who was devoted to his work; intelligent. She could respect that, and would in turn like to be respected.
A small sigh escaped her lips as she calmed her own temper. She was then amused by his assumptions. Why would anyone think that. She mentally ran through her appearance, seeing that though what he saw was a woman, what she saw was practical. A black labcoat hid the bloodstans much more neatly that any other color. All of the clothes she wore were practical. Even her boots. He placed his hand on the glass, watching the young girl he held captive. When the girl oepend her eyes he spoke again, and she watched. The girl was remarkable. Somehow she didn't think that was the work of something overnight.
The girl fainted, and his voice growled. damn her… Damn her for not being strong enough yet...” Jynx watched his face, his expression so alive when he worked. She wondered what other things he had worked on. Her brow wrinkled, thinking back to her pet project. He was an intersting one, with such golden eyes and bright blue hair. She shook her head slightly.
" I am sad that you assumptions are me are so misplaced. Maybe we can forget the beginnings of this conversation and begin anew as equals in the scientific field in this city." She stated.

Sending a glare to the woman next to him, he simply let out a dark laugh; adjusting his glasses as he faced her. "Now see here... You must be new; other wise you would know that I dislike most other scientist here, only reason they are working is because they kissed up to the Baron. The same could be said for you or not, I could care less and as for being equals; I doubt such a thing so please refrain yourself from hasty actions all because someone is talking to you like a adult for once."
Straightening his coat, a vial of dark eco fell from his pocket; the eco inside stirring wildly as if feeling threatened by something close. Smiling Gorturo studied the container for a few moments before showing the woman "see this? This is what fear looks like, knowing that at any minute you could be destroyed; just simply closed in and no chance for escape..." His words trailed off as he re-pocketed the eco, taping on the glass lazily "now listen here... Heal up so we can test for tomorrow, yes... Tomorrow is going to be very fun.."

She looked at him, listening to his words in a quiet seething rage. Just because someone was talking to her like an adult didn't mean that he had to act like it was a hasty act. She understood being unpersonalble, but she needed to at least get to know people here. All that she knew were Kovu and Jaythen. She sighed slightly, taking her eyes off him and looking at the girl.
He straightened himself, the movement catching her eye. Something about it made her smile as he held a vial which had fallen out of his pocket. She could feel the dark eco inside. "See this? This is what fear looks like, knowing that at any minute you could be destroyed; just simply closed in and no chance for escape..." She wanted to act like she was afraid of him, or the substance which he held just to see his reaction, but it was something of a bore to her. In reality it didn't scare her. The eco, the death that surrounded her. Why should it? She dealt with it every day, all the time. Why should it scare her.
She watched him as he spoke to his subject again, ordering her to heal up. He spoke of tomorrow being very fun, and she had to keep her close lipped smile from wideing. She knew the feling of waiting for the next day, waiting because your subject was too weak at the moment to go on. She had been toying with a few ideas of expieraments to put him through, but had discarded most of them. They were just not right.
The Doctor brought her attention back to the man infront of her, thingking of what to say. Obviously this man was not someone who wanted to see anything good in anyone. And she wasn't going to make him. She was slowly going to show him she wasn't some floozy who had kissed her way into the prison. Not when she knew she hadn't. She wouldn't be able to stand anyone thinging that of her. She nodded to herself internally, making a note to figure out how he worked, to understand how his thoughts made him act in everyday. This would be a true challenge.
" Fine, then I shall not say that we are equals. I cannot agree with you though on kising up to the Baron. I would be here whther he is or not. I made my way here without him, and will continue to work on what I wish. He may be the one to give the eco for my expieraments, but that does not mean he creates the work that I do." She narrowed her misty eyes, her second heartbeat growing in her own ears, counting the seconds of silence. She didn't realize it, but the golden symbols in her eyes were twirling as it took in information about the surroundings. She gave a thought that she needed to work on the circiuts in her arm, thinking of how she could add some new updates.
" I think that maybe this time was not the best meeting. Maybe it would have been better is we had met to discuss some matter of science instead of stand here and give barbed insults and Idle chatter."
