Audra smiled as she saw the amazement on Mykah's face." Well hurt. . . eh. . . attaching the bolts to your body. . . it's got a sting to it." Her face beamed as she looked down at the bolts embedded into her flesh. " Eh but if you can handle set up and the after effects using it is a snap. I'm not really sure how it would work with different ecos. . . " She trailed off as the coffee maker let out a loud gurgle as it dripped the remaining drops of coffee into the pitcher. "Coffees done."
She quickly moved over to the machine and dug out two clean cups. She quickly poured it and without turning around asked " Cream and how many sugars?" She plopped a spoonful of honey into the cup and slowly sipped letting out a comforting sigh as she waited for Mykah's order.

Mykah rolled her olive eyes at Audra's slight sarcasm. A bit of a sting. Only a bit of course. She sighed as she slipped deeper into the chair. Then she thought better and go up, walking over to her friend. Why should she be sitting? Thats all she had done all morning. In fact, she hadn't even cleaned the cut on her head yet. The blood was dark and brittle now, dried.
" Just a little sugar. And do you have cinnamon?" She asked. She preferred cinnamon to cream anyday. Anything with a bit of spice to it. Mykah watched her friend enjoying her cofee. She was also looking at her arm. She wondered how much of a force was really in it. Enough to knock out a wall? Maybe blow up a zoomer or two ? Seemed like it could be fun. She gave an evil grin. Only an explosive gun smith could think of making everything in the near vicinity exploding sound like fun. Pretty colors, warmth, lots of excersie from running........
" Hmm. I wonder.... Audra buddy, have you tried that?" She asked, standing next to her friend. Without realizing it her legs had taken thier customary stork positin, one foot balanced in the crook of her knee. Her fingers were drumming the table lightly to some inner desert rhythem that had long ago faded away into echoing silence in all aspects save for the one inside Mykahs head. Ideas poured through her as she thought about the technology and all the possible uses. To be able to separate eco's from blood was awesome. What if you can fuse eco with blood? or fuse more than one eco together inside a person. or in a weapon ? Now that would be cool. She thought wickedly.

The uncontrollable cough had followed him all the way from Mykah's garage. When he had first arrived outside her garage, he thought she had been caught in a fire. He ran in just to find a beat up zoomer with a tarp over the back. It looked like it had come from hell and back. He didn't know what trouble Mykah had gotten herself into now. Probably with the Underground. That's why Quinn doesn't agree to work with that group of misfits. All it causes is trouble. But for some reason, both Mykah and Audra have a strange urge to help those people.
Quinn ran out of her garage, with the part still in his hand that he was going to give to her. Mykah was somewhere around this city. Probably with Audra, Quinn thought. They were best friends and if Mykah wasn't at her garage, she was probably at Audra's. Quinn boarded his zoomer, tying the part to the back and headed for Audra's garage, still trying to get rid of the cough. Bad thing was, now he smelt like a walking house fire.
The mechanic walked into Audra's messy, but humble, garage clad in his usual dress shirt and vest. The vest today was gray with a dark red shirt under and his navy hair wasn't in his usual ponytail. Instead it was flatly laying on his shoulders. He didn't feel like doing it today and he didn't really care. With the part in his hand, he knocked on the wall with his other.
"Sorry to intrude, Audra," Quinn said in his cold voice. "I was looking for Mykah." he finished, gesturing towards her. He walked over to Mykah and offered the part she wanted to her. "By the way, Mykah," he said with a questioning look on his face. "What happened to your zoomer? It smells like you set it on fire." he chuckled and set the part next to her.
The object that was laying before the caught his attention. "New toy?" he asked in curioustity.

Audra looked at her shelves, trying to pinpoint where she would put cinnamon. “I got sugar . . . but. . . “She took a final look at her shelves, pushing varying bottles and cans around. But to no avail. “No cinnamon." She said, squishing up her face in disappointment and then taking a long sip from her coffee. Her eyes closed and she enjoyed the warmth the coffee brought, as well as the silent company of her friend.
As Mykah spoke Audra slowly opened an eye, cocking the eyebrow up with the vagueness of the question. “Tried what might I ask?’Cause if you mean blowing stuff up the answer, well that would be a ' Hell ya.'" She explained with a slight grin. “It can blow up the good part of a wall . . . probably through KG armor. Not sure though, never had to test that. “She finished just as Quinn walked in and knocked, only after he entered of course.
Audra eyed him, surprised that the mechanic would come down to her shop. Quinn wasn't the kind of guy to come over to have a chat, so it must have been business. And business it was, Audra noticed, as he was carrying a part that Mykah supposedly needed. He handed it over, his face and voice cold and then gestured towards Audra's new weapon.
“Yup, it's a new project I have been working on for a while . . . quite a piece if I do say so myself." She said vaguely, hoping that the boy wouldn't ask too many questions. The last thing I need is word of a new weapon getting to the streets.

No cinnamon. She sighed. Well, she would have to definitely get some to store in Audra's garage for other times. Maybe. Or maybe not. She wasn't sure at the moment. Quinn walked in and she could feel a headache growing. She liked him well enough seeing as he was a sensible person when he kept his tongue in his head, but right now was not the time to cross her. Even when Audra was around to remind her not to hurt anyone.
"Well, I didn't set it on fire. Someone who's anti-underground decided a stroll near my house with a loaded gun would fix everything. Well, it exploded and caught fire and....yeah, so I brought it here. Audra says its worth less than scrap now." She shrugged and decided to stretch. Her long sinuous body reached out as she tried to get the kinks of stress out of her body. Her half shirt rose slightly s she did, exposing even more ofher warm reddish/gold.brown skin.
"Did you bring that part Quinn? I'll need it more than ever for my JET-board since I don't have a zoomer." She rose in a movement like lightening and headed over to grab the coffee from Audra. She wasn't in the mood to dal with any of Quinns possible smart-ass remarks and with the two of them together the fun was oing to start before to long.

Mykah seemed a little upset about her zoomer. Quinn would be, too. Some puzzle pieces floated around in Quinn's head for a second. Zoomers were his specialty. He could really fix anything if you gave it to him. He loved a challenge. But a zoomer that had been shot up seemed like no problem. Yes, he might have to gut the thing inside and out. At least Mykah would have a zoomer though. Quinn would do it out of the kindness of his heart to fix it....and just a little bit of a fee for the extra parts he'll have to buy.
"I don't think it's trash," Quinn shrugged. "There would be a lot of work to get done, but I could probably have it up and running in about four days." Yes, he'll probably get only six hours of sleep throughout those days. But it would be worth it if he got money of of Mykah. "And yes," Quinn answered, setting the part on the table. "I brought the part."
The tone dancing from Audra's voice obviously said that she didn't want him to ask questions or even think about her new little invention. "Don't worry, Negron," Quinn rolled his eyes. "I have much better things to do than to go around town talking about your nifty little toy." he have her a sarcastic grin.

Audra eyed Quinn as he spoke, bragging on about how he could fix Mykah's zoomer in four days. As skilled of a mechanic as he was she knew that trying to fix up a shot up zoomer was a huge task. She had fixed a few of them herself, most for underground colleges who had got into some unfortunate predicaments.
Besides having to replace wires, tubes and pipes he would have to make sure that the shots didn’t puncture any vital parts. Truly, in Audra’s eyes, it would be cheaper and less time consuming to just buy another zoomer.
With a cocked eyebrow she listened to Quinn’s sassy comment. “Well that’s good, it leaves your huge mouth to go and engage in other activities.” She replied back to him taking a sip of her coffee and staring at him with cold eyes.

Mykah couldn't help but smile at Audra's sarcasm. Her sauceyness was just hat she needed this morning. Really. It was so much fun to watch them argue. Escpecially when Audra was in a bad mood. Mykah would never tell, but Audra was at her funniest when was was as pissed as a wet wumpbee. Her olive eyes gazed at both of them, eyebrow raised. What to say, what to say.
"Thanks Quinn, but no thanks. I honestly think Audra's right. It's worth more as scrap. Did you see the fuel lines? Scrap. The tanks are nothing more than twisted metal. I don't even think the frame is saveable." She said to him non-chalontly. She itched her shoulder, getting grease on her back by accident. She made a face and picked up a less-than-clean rag.
"Audra, will I die if I use this?" She aked in a jokingly worried tone.

Audra. She made his blood boil. You know that little kid that just annoys you to the point of no return? The one you just want to push off a cliff? Well, let's just say if Quinn and Audra were by a cliff, it wasn't going to be a good day. Quinn took the sarcasm as lightly as air. Honestly, he would have given her more credit for a better sarcastic comment, but he guessed this early in the morning sarcasm is too complex for Audra's small mind to comprehend.
The sad thing is Audra might be right now that he took a close look at the tubes. They were in pretty bad shape. Damn, Quinn thought. It would have been nice to steal a few bucks off of Mykah. Ah well. Quinn was sure he would get another chance.
The tubes were goners, but the frame wasn't. Most of it seemed in bad shape but some parts of the frame looked fine to him. If not in good shape, it was easy to fix a frame with some welding. "Yeah, Audra's right, but the frame's not too bad. If you're gonna give it to the junkyard for scraps and parts, I would be more than happy to take the frame off your hands. I have a little....project going. Pieces of this frame would help me." Quinn explained, surveying the frame some more. "Just name your price." Quinn shrugged.

Audra let the coffee sit in her mouth as she watched Quinn go over the frame. It was funny, you could almost see the rusty wheels turning in that huge head of his. Hell, the zoomer was probably in better shape then any of the contents of the boys head. Swallowing the coffee she made herself look back over to what was left of the zoomer to give her final assessment on the frame.
"Eh, go for it, Mykah. " Audra said with a shrug, eying the piece of cloth that she wanted to use. " You will probably just make it worse, hold on." She mumbled turning around and moving over to one of her other workbenches. "Used this one." She said grabbing an almost clean rag from beside some of her finer working materials.
