I haven't seen the movie... but too am a fan o the series. By what I'm hearing its ridiculously disappointing and I'm not planning on watching it... Though I'm completely not surprised, since i knew this would happen, it happens every time. A series is a series... no point trying to squeeze a movie out of it

Yup, pretty much. At this point, if you haven't seen it, don't spend money trying to in any way. I wish they had done what Serenity did for Firefly, and continued the story with an animated movie so that the characters could have been much more developed. A live action version of something that was animated in the first place is almost always a disappointment.  |

Come to think of it, I can't think of any examples. 0_o I know there must be one out there, but I can't think of nay, and TLA certainly wasn't one of them. I'll be watching the first season over the next few days to burn the memory of the movie out of my brain. |
