Setting: Haven City (Briefly), the mountains nearby Haven City.
Characters: Several KG special ops soldiers, Zrion, and Sendrah.
Plotline: After Sendrah continuously raids the Krimzon Guard's eco stores, sabotaging their weapon plants, research facilities, and posting anti-KG graffiti, Zrion finally gets fed up and begins hunting down Sendrah with a squad of Special Operations soldiers. Eventually, Sendrah will try and throw them off by fleeing to the mountains, and the SpecOps team follows. In the ensuing chase, everyone is stranded outside the city, with radio contact unavailable, no food or water, and limited ammunition on the part of Zrion and his men. Temperatures of the mountains are nearly always below freezing, and sometimes even below 0 degrees. And as Metal Heads can survive nearly anywhere, they're going to be just as much of a problem.
Post:
Zrion pinched the bridge of his nose, as he felt a headache coming on. All week..Well god, all MONTH they've been getting near daily reports about a new rebel. No no, not a rebel like that, but someone who is more...freelance. Essentially, she seemed to get kicks out of hurting their war effort and posting anti-KG propaganda all over the city. It was really starting to piss a lot of people off, including Zrion.
As if on cue, Zrion's radio crackled to life. "All units, this is Fireteam Zulu! We've located Anti-Citizen Four! She's raided our stores of eco and is heading towards the slums! We're requesting immediate backup and we are in pursuit! Hellcats are already en route!"
Zrion clenched his fist, and suddenly, he broke into a very..evil grin. This was the best opportunity they had ever since this person had appeared. Oh sure, she had left clues that always pointed to the same person, but they had never actually caught her in the act, much less actually be able to pursue her! So with that, Zrion brought his hand up to his helmet, and pressed the button on the side that activated his radio. "Zrion to Colonel Drekker, do you read?" After a moments pause, he got his response. "Loud and clear Sergeant, over."
"We've located Anti-Citizen Four. She's heading for the slums, and this is the best opportunity we've had so far to finally capture her. I'm requesting a squad of SpecOps to help me detain her, over." Several seconds passed, as the Colonel apparently thought it over. "Copy that Sergeant, meet them in the slums at Rally Point Bravo, and then track her down. Don't fail me soldier, over and out." Zrion smirked, and double-timed towards the slums, blood lust clear in his eyes.

"Anti-Citizen FOUR!?" Sendrah thought to herself while attaching the few vials of eco firmly into her pockets. Yes, yes, she had eavesdropped by turning the radio frequency from the radio to her own device, but that wasn't important. The babbling barely made any sense to her anyway. Sendrah looked up to the roof of the building she had so carefully picked. Shouldn't be a problem since there were balconies all in a row. Seemed to be of a comfortable distance from each other.
The woman equipped herself with a pair of gloves to assist her grip as she climbed and yet she seemed to use them rarely. This, however, was a perfect opportunity to make a good use of them. One by one, each balcony had been climbed and each floor defeated. She was nearly at the top when she heard repetitive comments and occasional shouting from below. They had spotted her again.. Precisely her goal for the time being. She smirked at the bold plan already formed in her head. It was actually quite simple. She'd make an appearance after an appearance after an appearance at a few crowded areas of Haven. When the Krimzon Guards had been fooled, she'd deliver the eco and go home. Everyone would win, right? Well.. At least Sendrah's ego would've win, and her client, too. The left hand reached up to the final ledge and the somewhat muscled body followed swiftly after up the ledge onto the roof. The fairly easy building had been conquered. How would she travel the distance without getting caught? The rooftops, of course. Never in her life had Sendrah experienced such freedom by jumping between the crammed buildings of Haven. Sure, the calculations had failed her a few times resulting in a broken bone or two in her recent years parkouring through Haven.. But it was irrelevant at the moment!
"Really. I should be Anti-Citizen One. At least they have to appreciate my effort." After the gloves were fixed slightly, Sendrah couldn't help but to notice an uncomfortable obstacle. Hellcats. That certainly surprised her. Too bad thieves weren't fond of surprises. Sendrah included. "What if..?" Oh.. Oho! She couldn't let that hilarious idea escape the situation! Was there something as humiliating for the pilots to actually follow a trail of arrows and no one to be seen? Sendrah reached for one of the many pockets, pulling out a spray can colored screaming orange. "This will have to do.." She thought with satisfaction of her extreme cleverness as she sprayed on the roof a large arrow pointing at her next location. Next thing after spraying for thirty seconds or so was to jump between the buildings nearing the arena. And off she goes.

It took only 4 minutes for the rapid response Special Operations division to get a 4 man squad to where Zrion was. Obviously they had been told they were to treat him as squad leader, because they instantly fell in, and snapped to a crisp position of attention. "Alright men!" Zrion barked in his commanding tone. "We've located Anti-citizen four, for the first time we've got a lock on her. As you know, she has raided our stores of eco, repeatedly sabotaged our manufacturing plants and weapons research facility, and is going out of her way to make us look bad! Obviously the regulars, as usual, have been completely unable to handle the situation! So once again, it's up to us to mop up what they can't do themselves! We've gotten reports of her heading over the rooftop! We've got hellcats in pursuit, but I personally don't trust anything driven by those idiots. The Regulars are going to set up a mile-wide perimeter all around the area, guarding every single square inch of the place, using hellcats and probably General Purpose Machine Guns. We are going to get up on the rooftops, and track this criminal down! Am I understood soldiers?!" A deafening HOORAH! rang out as they barked their approval. "Alright, fall out of formation and GET UP ON THAT ROOFTOP!" He bellowed.
All the soldiers quickly ran up. One of them began to swing a grappling hook around, and threw it up to the rooftop. He yanked it, and it fell back down. He repeated the process, but at a slightly different angle. This time it was firm. "Alright, get your asses in gear, one at a time!" The squad started to climb up, one at a time. Zrion was last, and he glanced around. They couldn't see anything nearby, but their luck would hold as another radio report came up. "All units, this is hellcat November 418! We've spotted Anti-Citizen Four heading for the stadium! She's on the rooftops! I'm preparing to engage and I'm requesting ground support over!" Zrion turned to the squad. "You heard him, DOUBLE TIME IT MEN!"
They quickly sprinted North, and encountered their first obstacle. A ten foot gap. Zrion smirked. Shouldn't be a problem, they were whipped into the best physical shape possible. Zrion broke into a run, and leaped. Nearly as soon as he left the ground, he felt his heavy armor start to pull him down. He had little to worry about though, as he landed on the edge, and skidded to a stop, placing his hand on the ground to slow his speed. The other soldiers quickly followed suit, landing in similar fashions. "Keep going!" The squad quickly turned, and double-timed it North towards the stadium.

Problems, problems, problems. First of all, those weren't normal KGs, second of all, things weren't in utter chaos like usual and third, they were officially chasing after her on the roofs. Thankfully she was like.. Three rooftops ahead?
"Hey you guys!" She shouted at the black armored KGs.
"How's it going prancing roof after roof? Pretty much of trouble in the long run, I guess." She shouted again, sneering. She couldn't help it but to let them have a slight lead, prepared to dodge a bullet or two.
"I don't know about you, but I'm pumped. Give my best regard to the Baron, will 'ya?" With those words, she jumped a rather odd distance, slightly further than a normal leap, though not really out of the ordinary. She was just loading up on the small amount of eco she could control. This would be a close one.
Almost instinctively after a leap or two, the parkourer stopped in her tracks the sheath her weapon. Not the largest blade ever seen, but a comfortably large one for some slashing. She didn't know the exact weak spots, or if she'd ever resolve to close combat with the black armored soldiers but she knew that'd this would be handy in case of any surprises.

"Oh she is so going down.." Zrion muttered. "Don't let her get to you men! Anger will cloud your judgment!" They already knew that of course. Black Ops were always trained to keep their emotions in check during combat, then let them all out once they weren't in danger anymore. So if anything, she was making things worse for herself if they actually did catch her. They jumped the next gap. "Whenever you have a good shot, feel free to fire! Try and wound her only!" As they ran to the next gap, they began to fire their weapons in short, three round bursts. When they neared the next gap, they ceased fire for a moment, then repeated the cycle as they closed in.
Zrion activated his radio. "How's that perimeter going 1st platoon?" "Stand by..." Was the response. "Alright, we've got the perimeter secured! Nothings coming in or out sir, take as much time as you need to capture her! We're all depending on you, over!" Zrion cut the connection. "Keep firing, we've got her trapped!"

"Sh--!" They were closing in on her. Foolish, foolish, foolish! What a foolish move to make. Never mind about the client! It was time to save her own hide! Sendrah needed to get herself out of range, doing a rushed somersault and literally springing off to the next roof. An obvious use of eco, indeed. She'd rather avoid using it because of her own pride, really, but a rough situation demanded rough actions. She rolled over and got on her feet quickly as the right hand tensed up at the KGs pursuing her, her palm flat. Yes.. It was there. She could feel it. A brief flash and then she felt a rather large portion of her blue eco abandoning the body, directed at the men with an incredible speed compared to normal eco.
She didn't have time to think or react. She'd head west immediately before approaching the KG fortress. It was the only thing to do at the moment to save her life from the dreadful justice the KGs served. "You wouldn't dare!--" a part of her protested. She would. Without hesitation. The blue eco rushed her body whole and she felt fluid, loose like liquid. A glorious feeling, true, even if Sendrah didn't like admitting it. Her movements were certainly faster and even to the point where she thought clearer and faster, the muscles responding faster, too. She'd do it. She'd head for Haven Forest, through the small ridge and to the mountains. She knew them without doubt better than the KGs.. Even if it meant dealing with the danger out there.
Suddenly, Sendrah felt a blazing pain in her waist. It tore her skin and flesh, but a bullet merely missed from burrowing into her muscle. The warm, red liquid streamed down, but Sendrah couldn't afford any time lost. "Better have your ground support ready! Heading down!" She barked at the pursuers. It'd be much more difficult racing through the street, but at least the other people would grant her time and protection. And Sendrah wasn't fooling around, too. She literally leapt down from sight mere seconds later to avoid any further firing.

"That girl is insane!" Zrion muttered. "Zrion to 1st Platoon, AC Four is off the rooftops and is moving through the streets! Get your hellcats in gear and DON'T - LOSE - HER!" He shouted into his radio. "You two!" He said. "Keep going this way and flank her! Get in front of her and trap her! The rest of us will close in from behind! The regulars have got the sides, GO GO GO!" The two jumped forward, while Zrion and his squad mate repelled down to the street with a backup rope. They quickly resorted to an all-out sprint towards the woman, trying their best to not lose her. As if on cue, a hellcat from First Platoon flew overhead, scanning the area with it's quad-cannons and prepared to turn her into swiss cheese as soon as they found her. "First platoon, secure the sides! I want snipers in the windows of this whole damn street, now dammit now!"

The fall was dampened by the eco shield that Sendrah prepared just in time.. Still. It hurt. It hurt oh so badly. She was rushing things too much.. "You can't calm down now! Get to it!--" That.. Wasn't right. She felt the uncomfortable memories rushing in as she ran west. Why now!? Before she knew it, a rather large shadow approached her.. Fast? She'd have to disable the machinery. She had done it once.. A single bolt should do. "Shoot this!" Her right arm tensed and her palm was directed at the hellcat above, dodging left and right from the firing. Finally, a brief flash and the blue eco bolt was already raging against the electricity controlling the hellcat. It wasn't nearly as strong as the previous one before and she had to save her energy for running. At least the hellcat would be temporarily disabled.
He was without doubt down on the ground again. The guy who kept shouting and ordering things around, she thought. If she'd get back to the roof then she'd no doubt buy her-- Oh! C'mon! "I though that already!" And still.. Unpredictability was good against the firm military forces. She had to run a minute or two, but the parkourer eventually found stairs easy enough to run up. Or so she thought. Sendrah ran up swiftly, but slowed down as the aching pain hindered her further. Why did stairs have to be so tiring!? "There's not much left.." She gasped. Yes.. True. The rest wasn't all that tiring, but leaping between the rooftops wasn't getting any easier, that's for sure.

"Damn it all!" Zrion muttered. "We need more hellcats! Scout the area and keep that damn girl in the perimeter!" His radio crackled to life. "Commander, we've located the suspect! She's fled into a building, probably heading for the roof! We're in pursuit, over!"
"Copy that soldier! Where the hell are those hellcats?" He bellowed into his radio. he and his ally sprinted towards said building, and started to thunder up the stairs. From the hallway on the right, the other two black ops slid around the corner, and met up with them. "Sir, we've got a lock on her! She's on the roof, probably jumping the gaps again!" Zrion nodded, and led the way as he ran up the stairs, and emerged on the roof. He spotted Sendrah. "FREEZE!" He yelled, bringing his rifle around, his finger barely half a millimeter from firing the gun. The other soldiers similarly brought their rifles around, aiming for limbs and other non-vital areas.

"Gentlemen." Sendrah said, a sneer growing on her face. She had no idea what to do. She was completely locked and trapped. Might as well throw her in a prison cell now. She put her hands carefully up, keeping in mind to avoid tensing up except for her arms. Her palms were.. flat. Sendrah dropped her beloved kukri and kicked it neatly aside.
"It's been a great run.. But I do think you should drop your weapons." She said calmly.. Frighteningly calmly, if you'd put it that way.
"Don't be shy. This won't hurt a bit if you'll drop them." Useless, yes. They wouldn't drop them. Nevertheless, she did warn them. Her arms seemed to tense up only slightly. Who wouldn't get tense and frightened when surrounded by the Krimzon Guards? The sneering faded only slightly. Had she really lost? She couldn't see any openings without a shot in the leg or head. Really, really disappointing.
